I went to a Brooks and Dunn concert and when they sang "Only in America", three soldiers came on stage and placed a pair of boots, a rifle, and a helmet on stage for their salute to the fallen soldier. The cheers were so loud from the crowd, you couldn't even hear the music anymore.
I'm tearing up right now writing this just remembering that night.

I sure hope the Democrats are better at music than they are at talk radio. They were going to "take back" talk radio with that big stinker, Air America. And that went over so well. I guess they will be taking back NASCAR next. I can almost see those electric hybrids speeding round the Indianapolis 500 at a blazing 55mph. Of course that will only be if the Pit Crew union hasn't called a strike.

gotta love the fact they point to Toby Keith as being pro-war. The guy is a registered Democrat and has been against the War in Iraq.

Of course those worried about conservatives running country music probably don't understand supporting the troops, and think that Afghanistan was an immoral war to get involved in.

Although BDS has been shown to be mentally debilitating DCS has been shown to result in permanent death to one's career ...

Willie is too busy "being" Willie and smoking pot to do something as normal as actually honestly paying his taxes. Let someone else pay taxes, right?

Look at Cindy Sheehan. She hasn't paid taxes in years but why hasn't the IRS gone after her? The woman brags about it. If we didn't pay our taxes, we'd end up in jail. Guess you have to be a liberal to get away with such things.

Willie Nelson has claimed to be a populist and a champion of small farmers but when it came time to paying his federal income taxes to help pay for the social problems that Willie thought the federal government should solve, well ole Willie just happened to be missing in action. There was a little problem called failing to declare all of your income. Maybe the road goes on forever but remembering income somehow is difficult.

You forgot Steve Earle. He wrote a whole album entitled "The Revolution Starts Now" which is a bunch of songs about the Bush administration. He has been married about 7 times and will probably die of alcoholism, (plus if you ever hear an interview with him he's so dumb he's "special") so whoever said it's more about values and less about politics is right. They've never had to grow up or get an education. They've never had to work at an actual job and their IQ's all combined equal about 56, (even the ones that are pro-American - and I'm being generous.) What's different with the anti-military/Bush/America musicians is that they not only don't have 2 brain cells to rub together, but they aren't even thankful or grateful for the fortune that this country has afforded them. I think that's these ungrateful babies turn most mormal Americans off. They have it great, and yet all they can do is whine about how bad they have it because they didn't get their way in the last 2 presidential elections. Whaaaaaaaaaa.

I saw this coming years ago. It is the culmination of what happens when you tell a lie over and over again. People sooner or later begin to take the lie as truth. they have been going on and on about Bush as evil since before he took the oath of office...sinc ebefore the election even. I have just never really understood it. I still remember how embarrassed I was as a man from this country on inauguration day to see all the protestors throwing eggs, making it so President Bush could not walk the parade route etc., and all for what? There was no reason for any of it. It was nothing buit selfishness. It was at that point that the Liberals and the Democrats split this country in two. rather than accept the decision of the election, based on the Constitution, they chose to divide this country in a way that makes it appear as though it may never again be one unit. For a brief moment, it appeared as though the rift might be repaired following 9-11, but that was far more short lived than even that should have been all because of the same people. Why? Because almost as soon as the second plane hit, the conspiricy idiots were already at work, further ripping this country apart.

While they like to say that Bush was not legally an elected President in 2000, the same cannot be said for 2004. Did the rift go away? no. If anything, it became worse. It groes more every day. Nothing in Washington gets done because the Left is only interested in being contrary to the Bush Administration. They care not for what the people want or need, or what the country wants or needs...it is only their selfish and delusional wants or needs.

If there is a division in this country, it is solely an squarely on the shoulders of the Democrats and of the Liberals. George Bush Jr. CANNOT be blamed for it. The Republican party CANNOT be blamed for it. No matter what they do or have done, nothing will appease these insane people that are the Left-Wing of this country.

What will become of them in one year when Bus is no longer President? Who will they hate then? Where will all this anger go? Where will the blame be turned? It is hard to say. Never in the history of this country, no not even in the time of the Civil War, has the country been faced with such a crisis of division. This is not something that can be decided by brother on brother warfare. How can it be resolved? Only one way...for the Left-Wing to grow up. for them to realize that what they are doing is severely damaging this country, helping our enemies and killing our soldiers. That they are the problem in ways that no one ever could have imagined.

But for them to realize that would take a miracle. And since they do not believe in God, then that miravle just may never come.

"The entire country may disagree with me, but I don't understand the necessity for patriotism. Why do you have to be a patriot? About what? This land is our land? Why? You can like where you live and like your life, but as for loving the whole country... I don't see why people care about patriotism." —— Natalie Maines, Dixie Chick extraordinaire, spilling her guts to the British press in June 2006.

Yet liberals think Natalie is being picked on when people get angry about her comments. The outrage against the Dixie Chicks has always been much, much more than the original comment made in a foreign country, in front of an anti-American crowd, for the laughs on the eve of war...bad enough as that was.
