Just when I think the stupidity of the green people can’t get worse, it does. How dumb is this and for one game? Are the frothing at the mouth environmentalists now going to try to stop sporting events? I think they are in a losing battle if they go that route.

I wonder what the envrironmental cost is going to be for the Kansas/Missouri game on Saturday? Sold out, highly emotional fans, hard fought football, etc. Wow, what kind of carbon emissions will there be coming out of that stadium? Are they going to suggest a no cheering rule?

This is all garbage anyway … trees aren’t the only plantlife that process carbon dioxide … any plant that does photo-synthesis converts carbon dioxide into oxygen … the carbon bi-products end up back in the earth when the plant dies off … simple natural recycling process …

As for trees, well, there’s no guarantee that they will actually store excess carbon dioxide.

Besides, if the trees arent’ cut down, where am I going to get the paper towels I waste cleaning my house?

People do NOT need to be so wary about carbon. Carbon Dioxide is NOT a pollutant, greenhouse gases are necessary otherwise there would NOT be possible. And besides, if we were all carbon neutral we’d kill all the trees! bleh. :P

The NFL tried the “Carbon Nuetral” nonsense at the SuperBowl this year. It was laughable seeing rows of limos ferrying in druken hangers-on munching on freshly harvested sea life: all of whom were flown in from around the globe, many on private jets. It’s amazing to me the hypocrisy of so many over this subject.

What’s really sad is that the donors of this “gift” could have used it for something beneficial to mankind; like helping a startup.

    Pathetic.

just some basic examples of the idiocy of this carbon misinformation …

carbon dioxide is used to carbonate beverages …

in it’s solid state it is called “dry ice” …

burning of fossil fuels produces mainly carbon monoxide not carbon dioxide …

every breath you take creates carbon dioxide …

carbon dixoide is a major component of the new refrigerants that replaced freon in air conditioning systems …

carbon monoxide is used under pressure in virtually every aerosol spray …

mixed with water it becomes formic acid which is used in many household cleaners …

the list of uses is extensive … but these idiots list of misinformed denial is even longer …

This is a perfect example of an enviro-folly!

    enviro-folly
    noun

    - an environmental gesture, sacrifice, or recommendation which does little or nothing in terms of actually helping the environment. An enviro-folly falls short of offsetting other wasteful or damaging activities by the same individual or group which overtly demonstrates or recommends the enviro-folly.

The group or individual may truly believe that the enviro-folly is significantly helpful to the environment. Even if every human or group in the world embraced the same enviro-folly or even groups of enviro-follies, there would be minimal, positive impact on the environment.

All this global warming/carbon credit is a lot of hocus-pocus. The earth’s climate has been waxing and waning in about 30,000 year cycles since before man appeared on the scene and will continue to do so despite anything man does or does not do. Carbon credit is a commercial scam fomented largely by Albert Gore for his personal benefit.
I do not advocate deliberate pollution or excessive use of energy but for economic and logistical rather than environmental reasons.
Continents collide, mountains rise and erode, oceans come and go.Our ancestors survived conditions we cannot imagine and our descendants will adapt to whatever comes.
Mother Nature is gonna do what she is gonna do, so I say relax and enjoy the brief time you have here.

If only the Republicans had not compromised we would be energy independent and the Global Warming hoax would have been laughed out of Congress.
