Look who’s complaining about illegal aliens
Wonder what open-borders Muslim groups like CAIR think of this tough-on-illegal immigraton op-ed published in Arab View by one Tarik Al Maeena:
There is a menace growing rampant right in our midst — the increasing numbers of overstayers and illegal aliens who have taken to the streets and neighborhoods to pursue the art of beggary without fear of being caught and deported.
More visible in Jeddah than in any of the major cities of the Kingdom, these illegals have flagrantly taken their art of panhandling to practically every street corner in full view of the people charged with the task of detaining them. Another army of such people can be spotted rummaging through trash bins in search of anything of value that could be pawned off to recyclers for a few extra riyals.
Just why is this phenomena on an unchecked upswing is anybody’s guess but I suspect the problem is two-fold. Most of such illegal aliens hide or destroy all forms of personal identification on their arrival at this country. Once rounded up, it becomes practically impossible for the authorities to determine where to deport them.
The other problem lies in the lack of proper detention facilities. Once caught, what do you do with them? To overcrowd our meager detention facilities with the people on the loose and cause a human tragedy of great proportions?
The rising number of illegals from African and Asian communities has spawned minicities within the city. These minicities are run and governed by gang leaders of these respective communities. Crime has been a major byproduct of their unchecked activities. Drugs, prostitution and even armed robbery can be attributed to the residents of these neighborhoods where even cops fear to enter. And as the spider’s web of their activities grows wider around the city, no neighborhood is safe any longer.
So well controlled and managed are some of these illegal communities that it may serve our municipality well to take some lessons in city organization and planning from these rogues. So how can we go about fighting this menace?
I propose that detention centers large enough to house a hundred thousand or so illegals be built in the desert east of Jeddah with proper facilities. The current neighborhoods housing them must be raided and these individuals rounded up.
Those who can produce documentation and prove their nationality can be deported to the country of their origin.

Well if you cut off the hands for theft, I guess removing the feet for (illegally) moving is in order here.
This is so weird.
Almost sounds like France from the tone of the article. Places where authorities are afraid to enter. Welcome to the party Pal!
If the solution to the problem involves violence and abuse, I am sure CAIR supports it 100%. They seem to have no problem with terrorist behavior and also financially support such methods.
On second thought, removing their feet is extreme… the problem could easily be solved by issuing drivers licences.
Just did some posting on my website about illegal aliens and Identity theft
Bill’s blog
There was also receintly a strike by Dubai laborers against Arabs protesting wages. Many were arrested and deported
Oddly was on Al Jazeera including video
Al jazeera
This is as mixed up as Arabs, that are Israeli citizens, getting better treatment in Israel than any other Muslim country in the middle east.
Sounds familiar.
Didn’t something like this happen in Egypt like 5,000 yrs ago?
one way or another, human/humane migration patterns teend to make a mess of sovereign socialist oriented SOcial MarketPlaces.
Proper soluttions must revolve around individually driven SOMPs, whether one is talking about oil energy or healthcare SOMPs.
So, given how oppressive the Saudis are, why would anyone voluntarily live there to beg?
How bad are the conditions where these people came
from for them to voluntarily go into the country
illegally to beg and to live in an area run by gangsters.
Sounds just like what’s happening here in Phoenixico, Mexizona.
Having been to Central Africa back during the Rwanda massacres there are worse things then living in the “Magic Kingdom.” I have also passed through Egypt and spent a couple of days in Morocco (never saw so many dead donkeys along the side of the road in my life). That is one continent on earth I never want to go back to ever. I hate to say it, but the quality of life as a beggar would be an improvement from what I have witnessed.
This is nothing new. Saudi Arabia has been suffering from Hajj overstayers for years. The same type of editorial was written over 15 years ago when I was in the Kingdom
Well, gee, what do you expect those poor exhausted police to do? They spend hours and hours every hour trying to find raped women they can have lashed. They obviously don’t have any time for frivolous things like illegal aliens - unless they are not Mohammedan and are in Mecca or Medina.
Now, Saudi Arabians understand 1/1,000,000 how Iraqi citizens feel when Saudi nationals enter their borders to rape, torture and exterminate those Iraqi citizens who cooperate with American soldiers and peace keepers.
Life is complicated.
Just so long as no one expect the Saudis to be more understanding of any US measures to police its own borders.
The fact that the Kingdom forbids the observance of any religion other than the ROP in no way compels Saudi muslims to understand the circumspection with which people from non-muslim countries regard the aggressive overtures of foreigners who advocate the impostion of islam on their host countries.

Which is to say, they’re already quite comfortable with a double standard.
I propose we send them some immigration experts to help with their problem. We can start with Hillary, John, Barack, Joe and Dennis. Throw in some experts in local government like Spitzer, Newsom, and the Detroit city council, and their troubles will be over.
At least a lot of ours will.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. HA! Nothing a cold blast from the north wouldn’t fix. Say what you want about the fly-over states, an unimpeded wind chill really filters the riff-raff.
