It's called NARCISSISM! I thought she retired from the spotlight. I thought she was tired of all the bullies saying all those mean things about her and how disappoint she was that nothing was getting done. I thought she realized that everything was going to happen anyway. I thought she was going home to Vacaville to take care of her family because she finally realized that they needed her too, what with the trouble with the law and drug problems her other children have been having since she went off on her quest for fame and fortune riding on the coat tails of her other sons death.

For someone who retired, it took her, what, two days before she came back? It just shows you that she is not only insane, but a liar as well. She is perfect to run for Pelosi's spot. Forget the fact that she doesn't live in her district, that is just a minor technicality, and never let it be said she lets technicalities...like her son re-upping for service, volunteering for the mission he was killed on, being against the things his mother was for and would more than likely be embarrassed by his mothers actions, stand in the way of what The Holy Mother Sheehan would ever do. Speak ye not poorly of her, for she has the ultimate moral high ground. Her loss far outweighs other parent's losses for she is against the war, and thus can never be shouted down as the parents of soldiers who are for he war are shouted down. She walketh upon the waters of the culverts of the souls of those who wouldst speak out if only they could were it not for that evil man Bush and his warlords.

Ok...I can't say it anymore. it was making me nauseated.

Re Sheehan..isn't there a mental disorder where one
considers oneself way more important that one
actually is? You know, sort of like delusions of
grandeur on a larger scale. Maybe she needs on of
those special jackets where the arms fasten in the back and one of those little rooms with the soft walls.

On the topic of the 72 virgins again...on Family Guy tonight, they had the best description yet. They had a homicide bomber show up saying, "I'm here!" open armed, only to be met by acne encrusted Dungeons and Dragons and Magic, the Gathering playing geeks, freeks and tweeks dressed in Star Trek costumes with wizard hats and other nerd type acoutremont. I damn near fell out of my chair. Now that would be the best type of justice there could possibly be.

That's exactly right. When it goes in their favor, there are no problems at all. When they win an election, then everything wored as it was supposed to, no voter fraud, no intimidation, no anything. However, when they lose an election, well the Brown shirts came in with their dogs and kept blacks from voting, intimidated the elderly, corrupted machinery, did everything they could to make sure that Democrats were not allowed to vote, thus making sure that there was voter fraud etc. and if it was an initiative that passed, well then they just take it to court and then get it thrown out on a technicality and the will of the people be damned.

When it comes to getting people on the Supreme Court and other courts, it is a sin to get Conservative judges on the court, especially those that are against abortion, however, they have no problem with stacking the courts with Liberal judes and we all know that abortion is the litmus test for everyone going into a government position of any kind and if they are not for it, chances are they can kiss their appointment good-bye. It is always their way or the highway, and they will always be the ones screaming "Bi-Partisanship". That, of course, translates into "Vote Liberal and you are voting bi-partisan. Vote Conservative and you are voting as nothing more than a partisan havk and are a racist."

However, it is known by it's more simplified name....HYPOCRISY!!!!!

What's ironic about the liberal fearmongering about a "dictatorial" President making up the rules for himself is that they have absolutely no problem with five Supreme Court justices fabricating law by fiat; discovering new "rights" in imagined emanations and penumbras.

Then again, they call the 5-4 Gore v. Bush decision a "coup d'état" that destroyed democracy but the 5-4 Roe v. Wade decision an irrevocable stare decisis which none may dare question its legitimacy.

Don't know about HP warranty service but am having
trouble with printer since installing Leopard. HP says
it's hurrying to catch up. Thought I was the only one
that missed typos when I preview.
Seriously, ya'll always make me think and that's a
good thing! Goodness knows the MSM doesn't.

Linda Boyd - please tell us just exactly where the evidence is for your assertions of an imperialistic presidency. Is this anything like the way Clinton behaved when he sent the IRS after his political enemies or made sure the executive branch turned a blind eye to the illegal antics of his favorite Chinese fund raisers?

I know, I know. Bear and I do tend to hold back and be shy. It isn't that we have nothing to say so much as we just have a hard time getting it out and putting somplete sentances together in a cohearent fashion. I really do apologize. I can't speak for the furry one who should be hibernating in a cave some where at this time, but I will try to be less quiet and withdrawn in the future. I know how you Texans like everything BIG!!!!
