That theory is the wrong answrer. Bush was the best of them all, and look what has happened to America. Ofcourse, Bush was slick enough to hide his shamnesty agenda, but the same could be with any candidate. Giving a candidate a benefit of comparison is a recipe for disaster.

.. the same reason Tom Tancredo, a patriotic statesman, did not get support from the very Americans he works for. Go figure……..

Good leaders change their minds when given new facts. Let us hope that someone running for office actually turns into a President-worth-electing soon, but how many facts will it take?

I often wonder what members of Congress and our governors are reading in their spare time in order to avoid dealing with tough issues and actually finding solutions palatable to the American people — the funny papers, Letters to Penthouse, what?

Huckabee deserves a good look over on his record vs his intentions.

I’ll give him the benefit of doubt because I can accept that sometimes distasteful things have to be done at a state level due to Federal intransience or decades of donk negligence.

But he had better well make the case why it’s not conservatively right and why it’s wrong at the Fed level. And that he WILL be forcibly and commitedly conservative as POTUS. And spare me the “compassionate conservatism” load of bull that Bush sold us.

But Lord help us and a pox on Mike if he turns out to be the reincarnation of Jimmah Cartah.
