One we let Mexico try and fail to fix the problems as it has since the mid 1800’s. In the End that only makes a group of people whos failure in goverment and defacto a socity will try and gain the Fruits anyone thats Richer than them.(US, as they do now) This can be done by Mass mirgration, followed by social dominace, or Military Conflict. Only stopable by Force, which you have to question if much of the US can get behind. Some yes, some No.

Option 2, give that Mexico’s problems mainly its poor tax system effects the poor. This could end up with in time a new Chavez Goverment, or the PRC who has been trying to get a foothold in the Region could sponser a Communist Revolution. Many of Mexico’s poor may just buy into that.

Option 3. They arn’t able to fix the situation, and if they can’t they’ll come here. Unless we want to militarize the border with Shoot to kill orders. We already know we have elements in this nation that cry when we used land mines and flame based weapons. Given the greed of politions how long till a new liberal Goverment is elected? Only way to stop that is Genocide of the Left, or a Militarian rule. So Why don’t we do it, get some milk from it like we did the Panama Cannel, hell just Annex the whole Area, send in money, jobs, change the native tounge to English. Maybe a bit to far.

Besides the examples already given here, what about the havoc they wreak on our social services infrastructure? What about the identity theft? The killing of innocents while driving drunk after sneaking back into the country? Changing the argument doesn’t magically make something “illegal” turn into something “legal”.

I am in Mexico as I write this. The money sloshing around goes to the elites that run this country, stiffle competition, and carry out and cover up the murders of those who want to change things. (See the murders of Luis Donaldo Colossio and Cardinal Ocampo in the 1990s, crimes which cannot be solved despite everyone knowing who is responsible.)

The richest man on the planet is a Mexican, Carlos Slim. He replaced Bill Gates in that rank earlier this year. He became so wealthy in part on an anti-competitive telephone/internet market based on his ownership of Telmex, the phone company here. $15-$20 basic internet connection in the US? It’s about $70 per month here. Send more money to these guys? No, they have not be devastated by a war or genocide, they have done this to themselves.
