Boo-freaki'-hoo.
Wah wah wah.
The US is evil, mexico is problem free.
STAY THERE then.
Or, do the RIGHT thing and APPLY for citizenship.
But quit complaining.
You had the good life. You worked illegally in the US for a long time. You didn't pay taxes. Your kid was delivered at no cost to you. His education was covered by my taxes. If not for the fact that you did all that by breaking the law on a daily basis, well we might be okay. If not for the fact that you taught your kids that laws were better broken, we'd be okay. If not for the fact that you refuse to work on improving condition in your home country, Mexico, and continue to criticize the country that you stole from and lied to, we'd be okay.
But you are a criminal.
I would no sooner take advice from a mob boss on how to revise our criminal justice system than I would take advice on how to fix immigration from an illegal criminal like you.
That is all.
How's Mexico? Chicago is cold.
Enjoy the sun.

Mexico who has a populations similar to Japan and has lots more resources can't create a first world economy? Do they want to conquer the USA and make it 3rd world as well? Both Germany and Japan came from rubble after world war two and yet are thriving. What is Mexico's excuse? If they can afford such huge families then are actually are not that poor. The USA can't absorb the whole population there and who wants this nation to have 700 million?

I just served a court paper on a male mexican illegal filed by his live in girlfriend to establish paternity. the purpose of course is to get financial aid from the state and ultimately to legitimize the man who produced a little bastard. The babyh boy is cute and friendly. The girl wants state aid and the man wants to stay and make money. This is how the system is broken. Soon the state will kick in funds, issue some kind of ID to allow Juan to work and produce more babies. He will leave this arrangement and leave the woman and child and get lost in the vast left wing conspiracy!

Interesting in the picture her t-shirt states “Who Would Jesus Deport?”

That's easy, Senora Elvira Arellano. You!!!

Too bad your libertine priest doesn't know his Bible from the Book of Marx. Otherwise, he would have sat you and your fellow illegals down and explained what St. Paul was talking about when he wrote the following:

Rom 13:1 Every person must be subject to the governing authorities, for no authority exists except by God's permission. The existing authorities have been established by God,
Rom 13:2 so that whoever resists the authorities opposes what God has established, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.
Rom 13:3 For the authorities are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you like to live without being afraid of the authorities? Then do what is right, and you will receive their approval.
Rom 13:4 For they are God's servants working for your good. But if you do what is wrong, you should be afraid, for it is not without reason that they bear the sword. Indeed, they are God's servants to execute wrath on anyone who does wrong.
Rom 13:5 Therefore, it is necessary for you to be subject, not only because of God's wrath but also because of your own conscience.
Rom 13:6 This is also why you pay taxes. For rulers are God's servants faithfully devoting themselves to their work.
Rom 13:7 Pay everyone whatever you owe them-taxes to whom taxes are due, tolls to whom tolls are due, fear to whom fear is due, honor to whom honor is due.

So the US rules are our own by God's permission. Mexicans need to pray a little harder that their own govt will reform and be more like us. Now Begone!

Rome was killed by plague and rot from within. It was
discussed and decided against after our war with them, to forego annexing Mexico. What gets me is..
look at the countries in South America. They are not
working so great either. What is it with the Hispanics?
I keep saying that if we gave them the entire US and
we all moved to Mexico, I wouldn't give it 5 years
before they started moving enmasse down there with
us. Mexicans cannot run a successful country as long
as they still have the old caste system and a culture
of bribery and general corruption.

@36, true, but with a Marshall plan we could gain favored trade status over that oil. Better us than the Europeans, Russians, or Chinese. Besides its three options I can see.

One we let Mexico try and fail to fix the problems as it has since the mid 1800's. In the End that only makes a group of people whos failure in goverment and defacto a socity will try and gain the Fruits anyone thats Richer than them.(US, as they do now) This can be done by Mass mirgration, followed by social dominace, or Military Conflict. Only stopable by Force, which you have to question if much of the US can get behind. Some yes, some No.

Option 2, give that Mexico's problems mainly its poor tax system effects the poor. This could end up with in time a new Chavez Goverment, or the PRC who has been trying to get a foothold in the Region could sponser a Communist Revolution. Many of Mexico's poor may just buy into that.

Option 3. They arn't able to fix the situation, and if they can't they'll come here. Unless we want to militarize the border with Shoot to kill orders. We already know we have elements in this nation that cry when we used land mines and flame based weapons. Given the greed of politions how long till a new liberal Goverment is elected? Only way to stop that is Genocide of the Left, or a Militarian rule. So Why don't we do it, get some milk from it like we did the Panama Cannel, hell just Annex the whole Area, send in money, jobs, change the native tounge to English. Maybe a bit to far.

Never the less, this isn't the problem in some nation far from us. Its Next Door. You can't say "Oh well there fault, not mine." Recall that things like this led to Barbarian and Germanic tribes entering the Roman Empire, tell me how did that work out for Rome? The Greatest Nation in Terms of Economics and Military Power in its age, actully the way the US is heading the likeness is uncanny.

lgm - I believe a few of the 9/11 hijackers received fake Drivers Licenses from Mexican Illegal Immigrants which allowed them status AND ability to sign up for FLIGHT CLASSES.

This woman has got some chutzpah. I do feel bad for her son.

lgm writes,
MM seems concerned about Mexicans with fake security badges. Are there reports of Mexicans being involved in terrorism?

Besides the examples already given here, what about the havoc they wreak on our social services infrastructure? What about the identity theft? The killing of innocents while driving drunk after sneaking back into the country? Changing the argument doesn't magically make something "illegal" turn into something "legal".

#20, T-421, the answer is not another Marshall Plan. Mexico is the second largest source of foreign oil (at nearly $100 per barrel) and wants to replace Canada as the first supplier. (See NYT of today re Dept. of Commerce's report on long term oil supply.)

I am in Mexico as I write this. The money sloshing around goes to the elites that run this country, stiffle competition, and carry out and cover up the murders of those who want to change things. (See the murders of Luis Donaldo Colossio and Cardinal Ocampo in the 1990s, crimes which cannot be solved despite everyone knowing who is responsible.)

The richest man on the planet is a Mexican, Carlos Slim. He replaced Bill Gates in that rank earlier this year. He became so wealthy in part on an anti-competitive telephone/internet market based on his ownership of Telmex, the phone company here. $15-$20 basic internet connection in the US? It's about $70 per month here. Send more money to these guys? No, they have not be devastated by a war or genocide, they have done this to themselves.

It’s about $70 per month here. Send more money to these guys? No, they have not be devastated by a war or genocide, they have done this to themselves.
