Duncan Hunter’s thank you note to Hillary
Via The Caucus, one of my favorite GOP presidential candidates, Duncan Hunter, sent a merry message to Hillary Clinton. Rep. Hunter fielded the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” lecture from Team Hillary campaign member Keith Kerr–the gay retired military officer whom CNN tried to pass off as an undecided Republican voter. Hunter welcomed the plant:

That’s pretty good.
I found a copy of the e-mail when I came home from work this evening. I loved it! Duncan Hunter just became my hands down winner. I have liked his stance on critical issues all along, but this is just a touch of class in the face of people that have none.
that’s why I back Duncan Hunter! The only true conservative in this race!

I love it! I’m not sure why he isn’t the front runner myself. He’s great.
He just belw his chances. He wrote “Merry Christmas” and I am sure that is banned somewhere.

We’ve already seen how “she who must not be named” handles a real question. There would be no contest between the shrew and Duncan Hunter in a one-on-one debate. He would eviscerate her and show her for the empty pants suit she really is.

I was jumping off my chair during the debates wanting to see more questions directed toward Duncan Hunter. There was no shortage for Ron Paul…CNN got a nasty e-mail this morning.
Duncan has many supporters and I’m wondering why he’s being so completely ignored? I keep looking but the baggage so many others carry doesn’t seem to be there. I’d at least like to see more engagement to be able to form some kind of opinion about him. I like his record, but to see him actually debate (nevermind, CNN only tosses out junk stuff) would be of value to those of us that cannot get behind any of the others.

I would like to amen that post and could if Mike Wallace were to moderate a debate between the two. If it were Chrissy Matthews, tatters to Clinton and hardball to Duncan would be my prediction.
IMHO… Hunter and Tancredo are the cream of the crop but I think you all expect too much of CNN, recently renamed “Crapweasel News Network”

Hunter does seem sane, in fact the Republicans have a generally healthy sounding group. Rudy occasionally sounds a little edgy. Not including Ron Paul of course. Maybe we could trade Paul for Lieberman and just run on the “Let the Adults Do It” theme? Hope we can get those who aren’t going for the national ticket to join the really critical fight for the Senate.

Which ever candidate any of you support, get behind them. Shamnesty and Dream Act are prime examples of what can be done by the “few” when they decide to get their steam up and get involved. Resolve to send out at least two articles a day, from your comfortable chair in front of your computer, that are relevent to the election. MM and HA give you the ammunition daily. If your family and friends finds it tedious, gently remind them of the suffering of our military and how we must finish the job. This is not a single conflict endevour. There will be many more. We must elect a leader that is more than an empty suit.

I agree Hunter and Tancredo are my favorites too. Why then are they lowest in the polls? They are both the most honorable and admirable men up there.
Hunter’s answer to that Muslim woman was the best answer all night. Rudy and McCain spent more than 2x the time answering that question, where Hunter was to the point, no apologies, no bs and Tancredo is never given time, even on Fox, Geraldo talked over him. How do we get these two out there, is it too late or what?

The same with me, I like them both too, they are second tier why?
I looked over the Democrat side and the only one that I like is Joe Biden..he is second tier too. He is the only one that is in the least bit acceptable for Democrat Presidential nominee.
I don’t get why these hopefuls are not front runners?
Because the party leadership and the MSM said so. It’s only by sheer personal wealth that Mitt is allowed to be in the forefront. He was initially one of the 2nd/3rd tier candidates.
And if Duncan or Tom had that kind of cash to spread around, they would be 1st tier and actually get asked a couple of questions in the debates too.
Why some are and others aren’t: Clinton = has personal scandals, Obama = Black…Muslim??? Rudy = 9/11 mayor, Romney = OMG Mormon!!! There just isn’t any particular tags to hang on Hunter or Tancredo to make the MSM stand up and help them get noticed. IMO
Unfortunately the RINO’s of the Party Republicanus( yep there is sarcasm inserted in that title) don’t want Hunter in there . I have been touting Hunter to all my friends , family and associates. We’ll all have to do the same.
