Don’t even get me started on the implications of good order and discipline. At this time “don’t ask don’t tell” established by Clinton continues to work. You out yourself you are out of the Military with a General Discharge. I know the UCMJ pretty good when active duty I read more than one offender their rights prior to an investigation to any infraction of Military Law.

cohesive unit and obeying orders and most gays just do not want to be like the next guy and next guy. Of all of the gays I have known in my lifetime and there have been a lot, this has always been true. Some of
these guys were in the military and were eventually
let go because they, in one way or another, would not
conform.
I am so tired of hearing, “I support the troops but not
the war.” If you support the troops, you must support the war, at least in funding and materiels.
Otherwise, you are not supporting the troops, you
are killing them more surely than the enemy with
their ieds.
I could give a rat’s arse whether gays have rights to marriage or not.
Since I am divorced, marriage is not something I am either for or against.

To homosexuals who cannot find relief under the current protection under the law, and want something better—
Create your own homosexual society. (And I am not talking about a district in some lame city on which you’ve overrun the City Council. Go fight for some terra firma.)
Establish your own nation state (will involve killing and fighting).
And then write your own history.
Until then, your sexual practices make you a minority WITHOUT STANDING unless you can prove that this and this alone adds value to society relative to the greater good.
And just because I disagree with you doesn’t mean it is a case of “phobia”. It means I have come to an understanding why this Nation exists and why your lame and pathetic civil rights arguments (as supported by the anti-American ACLU) do not hold sway over the US constitution.

Maybe it is because I have spent all my time in Combat Arms units, but I have met no people in my time that were inclined to support “gays” (mostly we use stronger words) working around us. If Rusty wants no infantry, armor, cavalry, artillery, aviation, or special forces, keep pushing your dream. Twinkletoes does not need to become a trained (but restrained) killer. He also has no business living amongst red-blooded American Soldiers in all-male units in either the field or garrison. This does not make me a “homophobe”. It is not fear I feel towards them.
But you would ask for the same treatment towards you as someone with Black hair?
I don’t want to defend Rusty here, and I won’t, but I think we need to clarify between saying special treatment and equal treatment.
In this case, the issue is whether or not gays in the military deserve equal treatment. It would seem to me that they do. Maybe I’m wrong about this, since I’ve never served, but I’m pretty sure that a straight person in the military would get busted for inappropriate conduct just as quickly as a gay person would. And if a straight person was flaunting whatever lifestyle choice they might have in every one else’s face, to the detriment of unit cohesion, he’d get nailed on that too.

In theory, you should be entitled to the same right. But you seem to suggest that it’s possble that people with Black hair be entitled to some rights that you are not entitled to, in which case you deserve more rights, or they deserve fewer. Either way, there is a discongruity that would need to be address.
FYI, I don’t think that this applies to gays in the military, I’m just being a prick about semantics.

If a gay soldier were to sexually harass one of his colleagues or an inferior, I’d push for that person to get discharged…same goes for a straight service member.
I think one of the problems with this debate is the assumption that gays are unable to handle themselves around other men. Which is stupid. I work around women – sometimes attractive ones! – without feeling the want or need to make a come on. I assure you that gays are just as capable of this restraint.
Well than they’re certainly capable of following the don’t ask don’t tell policy. So what’s the problem?
We’re long past homosexuality merely being a “lifestyle.” It’s the core of one’s being. It’s what that person is. Lifestyle implies choice.
And I have no problem with transgendered or cross dressers in the military. The latter would prove especially difficult since it’s basically the same uniform. But if a dude wants to wear ladies underwear while he’s protecting out interests abroad, what do I care?

I would venture a guess that you saw no problem with what happend last night (CNN planting Dimocrap questions) but would be “outraged” if they had done the same thing with Republican questions when the dim bulbs had their debate. I would also venture a guess you didn’t see the “love fest” with Wolfie and the crew a few weeks ago where it was also discovered a female was another Clinton plant. Funny how things happen that way in that lying, sack of s, network isn’t it?

They don’t have any solutions. They are vested in the defeat and failure of the United States and her individual citizens at every level. If we are individually successful and responsible we don’t need government handouts, social security, gov’t healthcare, unemployment, regulations or oversight. If we are successful as a nation we don’t need to change course, try a new way, view the Constitution as a “living document” or any other liberal clap trap. It is historically clear that democrat plans rely on real or perceived crises either occurring or being created by the liberal politicians or their willing collaboraters, the MSM. They only thing they fear is a prosperous, healthy, proud, happy America.
