    I am curious about the Teacher’s thinking behind the decision (yes, I know the chiiiiiildren wanted to). But did the Teacher even give pause “Hmmmm. The kids want to name an animal figure after the Prophet Mohammed. Cartoons. Animal figures. Not a pig. But it IS an animal figure. This is my head. Still attached. This is my head. Not attached.”

    Then she suggests to the chiiiiildren: “Kiddies, are there any other names we might choose, given that we must reserve the name of the Prophet for uses that wont result in me getting my head chopped off. Whhaddya say? Oh? Yes– Halal is good. Mustafa! Coolio, Julio! Anybody else?? ”

    I mean, really. The whole thing just smacks of the kind of idiocy that reinforces the myth that Westerners just screw up and it really ticks off the Mohammed Uber Alles crowd. “It’s our fault.”

    Who prepared this do-gooder to be over there? “Now,look. The key is to avoid getting your head chopped off. Numero Uno- you are a woman. Strike one with the local mosque crowd.
