Update 12/1 9:00am Eastern. A British Muslim member of Parliament and his delegation of dhimmis are flying to Sudan to negotiate a pardon. You know what they should be doing? Demanding the sentence be dropped and that Sudan apologize.

When a crowd of young men spotted a group of foreign reporters they began slashing their fingers across their throats. Police intervened as they advanced down the road.
Sheikh Abdul-Jalil al-Karuri, the imam of Abu-Shahid mosque and an adviser to President el-Bashir on cultural and religious matters, said that he had told his faithful that 15 days was an insufficient punishment for such a grave offence. “This happened on September 15 at the start of Ramadan, making it even more offensive,” he said.
The Sudanese Government has been happy to encourage antiWestern sentiment in part to resist efforts from the West to lecture Sudan about Darfur and deploy peacekeeping troops in the war-torn region.

If it’s Friday, it’s call-for-an-infidel-execution day. The Mohammed Teddy Bear Blasphemy outrage continues, with the usual suspects doing the usual things–waving weapons, screaming bloody murder, and advocating death in the name of Mohammed:
Hundreds of protesters brandishing swords and sticks gathered outside Khartoum’s presidential palace Friday to vent their anger against a British teacher jailed for allowing children to name a teddy bear “Mohammed.”

The latest reports peg the marchers’ numbers in the thousands. “Tiny minority.” Uh-huh.

The marchers took to the streets after Friday prayers to denounce the sentence as too lenient.
The protesters gathered in Martyrs Square, outside the presidential palace in the capital, many of them carrying knives and sticks.

Hundreds of riot police were deployed but they did not break up the demonstration.
Because they believe in free speech…for jihadists.

Between the 3 I get enough about Islam, and its purveyors, to grasp the idea that “moderate” Muslim is a label, and a label only, with nothing underneath it— kinda like the Easter Bunny.

They had no basis to fire me…I used to get nominated employee of the month ALL the time. The security guards had to call the city police and this cab driver was banned by the police to ever show up at the hospital again. This man was ranting and raving that I was just a lowly woman…I should have dropped all things so that I could tell him where his cab rider was…not that I would have ever known.. and then he was escorted off campus, ranting and raving that he would come back and get me… SO
FOLKS, IT IS COMING TO THE USA. It is
coming faster than we can stop it. The government brings more of these “refugees” to this country and puts them in cities where it does not
“show” as much.
Please make a stand …there is NO reason for a civilized country like this one to be dominated by a backwards

Here’s the point: let people have their reaction. Judging it as “over” “under” “around and through” or whatever means little in the discussion.
We are here, most of us, to tell it like it is. The wide ranging opinions are shared freely. If the opinions are to be judged, then let’s do it in a way that has meaning.
You think EVERYBODY is overreacting. I told you NOT ME. Therefore, not everybody. So what meaning does that hold for you to say it in the first place.
The Muslim rage crowd is acting on their convictions and principles– as twisted and jacked up as I may judged them to be. There they are. In their full glory. If I were to deal with them as a negotiator, let’s say, what good would it do for me to tell them “Hey, Mohammed, don’t you think you’re overreacting just a little bit.”

On 11/29 Ann Coulter had a good take on Fox/Cavoto regarding this situation. The United States gives 2 billion in aid per year to the Sudan. Given this, can we then say the your either with us or against us decider agrees with the Sudan authorities who are as stupid to make a bag of hammers look Einsteinium regarding the Gillian Gibbon punishment. This must include Bush and Condo. World opinion should also hold the Muslims responsible for the lunacy in Khartoum (I can not call Islam a religion but more the cult…get the punch ready).

up here in the Twin Cities we just went through a real issue with the Somali “immigrants” that the government hauled in here for some insane political reason. The Somali taxi drivers demanded foot baths in the airport washrooms so they could prepare for prayers. They demanded a non-denominational chapel be dedicated to Islamic use only. The TOLD the transportation authority that they would not take any passengers that had any alcohol on their person or IN THEIR BAGGAGE!

The insane (read: radical) always choose door number 4. Instead of choosing the typical (door #1 — Left, Door 32 — moderate, door #3 — conservative) view or response, they choose the door which isn’t even on the stage. C’mon feebie. Cut me just a little slack would ya. My comment was made sincerely and in good faith. I enjoy bear’s writing style, but sometimes (for me) he reaches a bit to connect certain dots (e.g., the hotel glasses thread). In this case, I think he was all over it and wanted to say so.
These people have learned, and learned very quickly, that the more they whine and complain, the more that the governments of this world, be they national or local, will cave in to their demands. They have learned that if they threaten violence, the mators of cities will do what they want in order not to upset them. After all, the last thing that local governments want is to have a bunch of Islamic Rage Boys overturning cars and burning shops in the middle of their business districts and chasing out businesses and tourists. This is why they are taking over city after city and getting their way. This is why, over the last 6 years especially, they have been increasingly more and more vocal and increasingly in the news.
