Code Pinko parade in Pakistan

By Michelle Malkin  •  December 4, 2007 05:13 PM

Code Pinko Medea Benjamin made herself a global pain in the neck and lives to whine about it:

Pakistan authorities today ordered the deportation of the leader of the feminist U.S. antiwar group Code Pink, who was in Lahore to join protests against the emergency rule imposed by President Pervez Musharraf, according to a spokeswoman for the group.

Medea Benjamin, a co-founder of the group, said she was arrested at a student demonstration by agents of the Pakistan Inter-Service Intelligence and detained for about four hours before being released with orders to leave the country tomorrow morning. Pakistan officials told Ms. Benjamin that she was being deported for joining illegal protests.

“I’m OK — a little shaken up,” Ms. Benjamin told The Washington Times by telephone from her hotel in Lahore. “They mistreated us.”

Ms. Benjamin said she feared for her life as the agents held her at gunpoint in a car speeding through the city to the police station.

“I thought I was going to die in the car,” she said. “They totally terrorized us.”

Pakistani authorities also detained and then ordered the deportation of Tighe Barry, a longtime Code Pink activist who was participating with the student rally outside the Lahore Press Club.

Can Pakistan deport them to Venezuela now? Medea hearts Hugo, after all.

For her part, Nancy Pelosi was just glad they found someone else’s property to trample.

BUT over at the DKos they will tell you over and over again all about the free speech rights they’ve lost becuase Bush is president.

I can’t help but wonder how she defines the “protection of being U.S. citizens”? She’s not a diplomat, so she really has no additional protection from the laws of Pakistan. How foolish can you be?

Let’s say that President Musharraf is the terrorist she seems to want to imply that he is. How would she expect the U.S. to protect her? Certainly not with U.S. troops… We have a good feeling for how she feels about our military.

No, I believe she knows better and would not try this in a country where the outcome was not as predictable.

Wow…now if this doesn’t show how huge her ego has become over the last six years, I don’t know what has. She honestly thought that just because her slogans say her beliefs are universal that they really were universal. She is lucky…VERY lucky that her big head and mouth are still attached to her shoulders. Unfortunately I don’t think she will ever, ever realize just how lucky she is that her head is still attached.

So just how many times do you think she asked her captors, “Do you know who I am?” I am willing to bet it came out a great many times. I am also willing to bet that after all the times she has complained about being mistreated and terrorized by the police in the United States that it is a nice thing for her to now have a basis of comparison and to know that she never really was terrorized or abused in the least before, and instead was treated with kid gloves.

Now here is the big question. Will this big mouthed, troublesome, rabble-rousing, anti-American, seditous, moron come home and be more humble and more willing to be grateful for what she has here and the type of country she is fortunate to be living in that those brave men and women she condemns on a daily basis in the military fight so hard to keep that way? Will she stop bad mouthing them and begin to show them some respect and stop defending those that alost killed her for running her suck?

    Naw…she’s just too damn stupid.

We have a nuclear armed country, full of radical Muslims, with a leader tenuously holding onto his power, who is friendly to the US. Medea Benjamin has no clue of the consequences of her actions. It isnt a get out of jail free card. It grants equal protection under US law—not the laws of the Left’s beloved “world courts” and “international law”.

And that is the freaking point of being the United States of America– since the American Revolution and the Nation’s founding to present day.

And ever since we were founded the world has sought to undermind our laws, our traditions, and our very existence.

That has not ended. And as long as we fight to put traitorous Americans like Medea Benjamin out of business– based on their own inanities and misdeeds— we wont end either.

If only some of these people would learn a lesson from this I would be impressed. As it is, life will go on as usual for them, the press and the politicians. The story will be spun until it is all America’s or Bush’s fault and that will give them reason to protest here. (Perhaps for not sending in American police to protect her from the abuse there?) The story will be used to gather even more contributions from real-good/feel-good mo-mos and life will go on as usual. These people could face real torture in some of these countries and still come out with their misconstrued beliefs unscathed.

I would be willing to bet that she has been told to never come back into that country again. I would also be willing to bet that it was a condition of her release following her arrest, what with all her shouting about who she was and what group she represented and al the “powerful people she knew in Congress”.

This also begs the question as to whether the Man/Bear/Pig creature that shows up along with the rest of the “Breats Not Bombs” crew showed up. I would be willing to bet the Al Qaeda gang let them go because they found that bearded woman/man/bear/pig/thing/creature/it/whatever so wonderfully beautiful and desireable that they didn’t want it harmed in any way and were going to use pictures of it as posters of what to expect in the way of the 72 virgins they hope to get when they all become martyrs. (Ew…just vomitted a little at the thought.

Now, did Medea wear a veil during her stint there? Was she showing the proper respect like the Liberal saint Pelosi? After all, we wouldn’t want to insult their religion. Just look what happens when you insult a teddy bear.

So here is this woman, who has been going on and on ad nauseum with all the rest of the Liberals, including those here on this site, about how Bush has been chipping away at people’s rights, over-stepping his bounds and over-stepping the limits of the Constitution, of how the Liberals have been getting mistreated, of how their First Ammendment rights have been trampled on, have been terrorized, have been mistreated by the police, have been intimidated by Conservatives, told to “shut up” by the likes of Bill O’Reilley and so many other whiney and childish complaints, and she takes her little parade, pink tape and sharpies and all, out on the road and goes across the pond into the mouth of the Global Jihad against the Kuffirs and the War Against Islamic Agression.

What did they find? Did they find that everything that the Left and the Liberals have been saying is true, that it is just a bunch of bumpersticker slogans put on by Condi and Bushco in order to fund theor oil buddies and line their pockets? Did they find that the Muslims are all just real friendly, peace loving people who are just misunderstood and if they just give them hugs and tell them we love them and Bush is a bad, bad man and soon will be gone that all will be well and they are donw with their struggle so all the Muslims will invite them into their homes and welcome them like family and even listen to them talk about their Atheistic and Agnostic views of the world?

Not a chance. What this little brained nomzoom-dweebie found was that everything we have been saying since around 9:00am 9-11-01 has been true, and even more so. They found out while staring down the barrel of a Kalishnikov and peeing in their pants while speeding through the streets with people yelling for their deaths, including the smiling, unbrushed teeth filled faces in the cars with them.

But will this change their minds? Will this change their message? Will this cause them to actually support the troops, send grandma home to fill care packages, clean the graffitti off the recruitment centers, send an “I’m Sorry” cake to a certain recruiter in Berkeley and elsewhere and do all they can to support this country and get behind us for the big win?

Well, that has yet to be seen, but knowing Liberals the way I do and their incredible way to spin things around at incredible speeds along with their incredible inability to ever admit any wrong doing or when they themselves are wrong, I would not hold my breath that this was the “Coming to Jesus” moment that this hippie sorely needed. I am afraid if you did hold your breath for her to do these things you would just turn a funny blue color, pass out, and wake up with a headache and just be disappointed to find out that she had spun it around to still be all Bush’s fault and the Muslims are still just misunderstood and misguided.

    Idiots.
