Mo Teddy Bear teacher is home, but what has she learned?

I’m afraid that British teacher Gillian Gibbons doesn’t quite appreciate how her ordeal fits into the big picture of the Religion of Perpetual Outrage:

A British teacher jailed in Sudan for letting her students name a teddy bear Muhammad as part of a writing project arrived home Tuesday after being pardoned and said she was “very upset to think that I might have caused offense to people.”

Gillian Gibbons told reporters after arriving at London’s Heathrow Airport that she was looking forward to seeing her family and friends.

“I’m just an ordinary middle-aged primary school teacher. I went out there to have an adventure, and got a bit more than I bargained for,” Gibbons said at a brief news conference.

“I don’t think anyone could have imagined it would snowball like this,” she added.

Actually, it’s all too imaginable: They worked up Soccer Ball Rage , Rushdie Rage, MoCartoon Rage, Burger King Ice Cream Cone Rage, Koran Flushing Rage, Valentine’s Day Rage, Veil Rage, Pope Rage, Fallaci Rage, Miss World Pageant Rage, and Rushdie Knighthood Rage.

Teddy Bear Rage was no surprise to anyone with open eyes.

Tellingly, the lesson Gibbons has learned is the lesson of submission. Check out this little anecdote from the Times of London:

Looking tired but excited on the flight from Khartoum to Dubai, she chatted with an embassy security guard and the two peers who lobbied for her freedom, planning what to do on her return. A fellow business-class passenger said: “The four of them talked almost the entire time, laughing happily.”

Lady Warsi, speaking on the Emirates flight from Khartoum, told The Times: “This has been a very difficult week for Gillian and she has come out of it amazingly well. We all just feel delighted and privileged in playing our part in securing her release, and we are all looking forward to getting home.”

For dinner, cabin staff provided Ms Gibbons with Arabic mezze, followed by grilled Iranian chicken kebabs. At one stage Lord Ahmed came dangerously close to joking about Mohamed and the teddy bear, but Ms Gibbons interjected: “We don’t joke about that any more.”

Mission accomplished.

Wow, what to say about old Gillian? I guess she doesn’t “get it” yet but maybe when she thinks about it over the coming weeks, months and years, a light will go on. Obviously she and many in the world have learned nothing about the intolerance of this medieval death cult or at least only get their world news from leftist propaganda establishments. I tried to watch a segment on Fox news this morning about the incident and the woman who was an expert on the area stated the President of Sudan would look pretty good after this incident. It was revolting to see this woman act as another apologist for the latest Muslim outrage over nothing.

These comments were made on her way home from this hideous ordeal, wondering if she’d be lashed or killed by this crazy mob, and she probably had not had a chance to gain her wits about her yet.
I’m too happy about her safe release to judge her state of mind (not that I would ever be qualified to do so anyway, I s’pose).
    Thank God she’s released.

    (Sigh…)

Yet another example of caving in to these barbarian bullies.

Yet one more reminder that Europe appears to be very likely dying off – literally as well as figuratively and conceptually.

Just finished Walter Laqueur’s “The Last Days of Europe: Epitaph for an Old Continent”.
Some of the Amazon reviews I read before purchasing the book were correct: the book rambles a bit too much, and seems to lack a clear message…until very near the end.

Understand that I am paraphrasing (and sorry, no time to reread as if planning to introduce evidence into a court case); but, Laqueur in the final 10 or so pages clearly seems to be RECOMMENDING FURTHER APPEASEMENT and ACCOMODATION of the Muslims that have infiltrated into and terrorized Europe – including some aspects of Sharia law.

    In other words, Europe…give up.

At first I was a bit stunned…but then, on reflection, I realized that the author is quite possibly (and I may be wrong) yet another leftist, secularist, moral relativist, with the associated worldview, that feels that our current existence is all that there is or ever will be; that nothing is any better than anything else; that nothing is worth fighting or – Gasp! – dying for…so, let’s just submit (Islam means submission, after all), turn around, bend over, and take it, and just nicely ask the animals to be gentle while they’re at it.

    Defend Western civilization?
    Ppffsstt…why bother?

Thought for the day: she’s obviously a politically correct liberal worldview junkie. She’s upset because she has caused offense “to people”, meaning in this instance jihadists who want to see US streets awash in innocent blood out of sick and irrational hatred. I’m thinking that if she were told that many people are offended by her lack of common sense in a dangerous world in which he actions could fuel more violence against US innocents, she would probably not feel upset for having caused offense and would instead gently but firmly lecture us for not being sensitive to multicultural diverity.

    Anyone taking bets?

One thing to notice is the inconsistency of Islam’s overall theology.

When Muslims claim Mohamet is just a man, they are lying. They elevate the guy to the status of divinity, because any alleged smear of his image or name is tantamount to breaking the 2nd commandment of worshiping no graving images. Mohamet is essentially a surrogate Christ. Anyone truly interested in challenging Muslims must press them on this.

Only time will tell if she’s learned anything. I think she has, even if that lesson isn’t apparent in her current actions.

I wholeheartedly believe she will look around her (in the UK), see shari’a creep, and fight against it. She will never forget what happened to her, over what – at worst – was a cultural faux pas. And I believe she’s going to fight back when the time is right.

In my youth I travelled the country on a spiritual journey, often talking with others about religion. I met a Muslim and said my faith was probably closest to Hinduism, a primary tenet being all faiths have value. “So many people, so many paths”. He shook his head back and forth and said “there’s something wrong with Hindus”. Later in 1982-3 I settled at a Hindu meditation center for a year in Oakland, just doors away from “Your Black Muslim Bakery”. Some of the YBMB members stood outside in long dark robes and angry faces. After 9/11 there was an interview of a Muslim in the street. What did he think. “Those who flew planes into the WTC were crazy”. So far so good. “There might have been Muslims in those buildings!”. Uh huh. Later that week at a memorial service in the National Cathedral a Muslim cleric spoke. Nothing about disavowing the ideology of the hijackers, his fellow Muslims, who screamed “Allah Akbar” as they did their deed. Where are the moderate Muslims speaking out against the extremists? So maybe I’m a little soured on Islam. Something positive about Islam? I’m still waiting. Can you tell I’m a little bitter?

Mohammand was merely a man and those who think he is divine are blinded by the devil. Jesus Christ said over and over that only a Divine being can forgive sin and since He forgives all sin He is God (Son of God) part of the Triune God. Muslims must think again on their eternal destiny.

You know, I was thinking that maybe she was just being an apologist, and then I thought that maybe, just maybe, she has been threatened enough before she left about talking about it and to bevery, very careful about what she ever says about this incident and about Islam in public ever again. Look what happened to her with a teddy bear. I am sure she is just terrified to tell the press how she really feels, especially with the Religion of Killers gunning for her and her picture plastered on every corner in Londonistan. The Religion of Death has served it’s purpose is right. they have silenced yet another person who is capable of speaking the truth of how brutal these people are and what the minority wanted to do to her when they took to the streets with their swords and other weapons.

time to go and feed my scum sucking fish Mohammed and go to bed. Night all.

Gilliam may not joke anymore, but this kid in the video would definitely get beheaded if the ragers get their way. The Red, White & Blue kid calls out Mohammed for the pedophile he is.

For perspectve, Gilliam might consider that Mohammed considered the sweet widdle girls in her Sudanese class ripe for sex.
