where exercises included somersaults, pole-vaulting and paintballing

I'll be honest here. So long as the jihadi's training includes this kind of John Woo BS, I'm all for it. It makes it that much easier to send them on a magic carpet ride.

And people, learn to ignore sausage. I've managed to learn this lesson in my short time here, and my stay is much better for it.

Yes, the BBC is very PC. But, the quality of it’s content is generally excellent and pretty much fair and balanced.

True, the BBC doesn’t fawn over Israel like the American media does… but then the UK isn’t run by far right evangelicals trying to send Jewish people back to their homeland for the second coming of Christ

I'll ask again...why did you come to the US?

Remember when the BBC kept the nation's hopes up and their morale strong when the country was being bombed night after endless night by unseen Nazi bombers and V1 weapons of death? Remember when it was the "Voice of Freedom" to the soldiers held captive or just shot down behind enemy lines and needed to xero in on it's friendly signal to find their way home? Remember when they were the people who brought us such fabulous comedians like Monty Python's Flying Circus?

Just exactly what happened to that company, and when are they going to come back? I think someone needs to tell them that we are, again, in the middle of a World War and they need to, once again, rally the troops and the country to come in for the big win, especially since the thing that was feared the most during the last World War...enemy infiltration into the Home Country....has not only already occurred, but is ongoing and welcomed even into this late date.

You can't be both. You are either fair & balanced or have your news dictated by pc concerns. The two don't mesh.

On December 5th, 2007 at 7:29 am, breg man said: Where are all the so-called sympathizers who should be worried if a nuclear attack were to take place? Or are they considered expendable if it meant wiping out Israel?

I think this would make them martyrs and allow them to be greeted by 72 VirginIANs.

Never mind the fact that the actual Palestinian state never existed. One was created for them by Jimmy Carter and they walked away from the table. Never mind that ALL of the land there was desert and the Israelis were the only ones who successfully farmed it and turned it into what it has become today. Never mind that the Israeli "Occupation" covers less than 5% (I think, though it could have been less) of the entire Middle Eastern Region. Never mind the fact that the "high ground" they now possess is theirs because it was taken in a battle which was started by other nations against them. Dang those facts sure as pesky critters aren't they?

Never mind.

Re #17:

"Yes, the BBC is very PC. But, the quality of it’s(sic) content is generally excellent and pretty much fair and balanced."

???Incredible.
I'm waiting for this individual to tell us how beautiful the knives are that the beheaders use; or how high-quality the nuts, bolts, nails, and screws are that the homicide bombers pack for shrapnel into their bombs.

"True, the BBC doesn’t fawn over Israel like the American media does… but then the UK isn’t run by far right evangelicals trying to send Jewish people back to their homeland for the second coming of Christ(sic)"

?????Speechless.
Straw man?
.01% of .01% of .01% of the media, or of individuals, or of organizations???
What's next, a unicorn alert?

Folks are right:

JUST

IGNORE

HIM

...Although, I have to say, comments like #17 are terrific as buffoon (a few miles past simply comic) relief.
One just could not make stuff like that up! Oh, wait, it seems that #17 WAS made up.

*Sigh....
