I’m still trying to figure out how Kerry could get 3 Purple Hearts in less than 120 days (approx) and not shed hardly any of his own blood. The only answer I can come up with is he was running for President back then. Thank God he didn’t win.

I make it a point to not by Heinz products anymore because of who Kerry is married too. I don’t want to do anything to enrich this man. His collaboration with the enemy in Paris should have been enough to throw him in the Brig for a very long time. I group him with Jane “the slut” Fonda and friends when it comes to Vietnam era traitors. It has taken over 30 years for Kerry to get the credit he is due for betraying his country and comrades in arms. May this added information be enough to dethrone him from the Senate and seat he never earned or deserved.
I heard of a just a few draftees that didn’t want to be there injured themselves to go home. (shooting self in foot, cutting themselves with knife,etc.) do you put it past Kerry to do anything he could to go home early? like maybe shooting himself in the foot? or falling over his own feet and getting a boo boo? hurry up and fill out those forms for commendation on your heroic action, kerry….
i must say that there was some phony baloney going on somewhere to say the least.
The Swift Boaters were brave both in Vietnam and to take on a major US politician.
Too bad we can’t give them some more medals today for their efforts in putting the TRUTH first.

I KNOW what my scars look like - I’ve absolutely no interest in ever trying to look at any scars he may or may not have - I’m not a Corpsman - nor do I have any warm-and-fuzzy towards even shaking his hand!
What the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth did was amazing. I’ll look forward to giving it for Christmas.

Just bugs me that some in media have their own private agenda while claiming to be objective. What was Kerry in ‘Nam for? Like four months and then his awful war injuries and three purple hearts mandated his return stateside?
You never hear much about Algore in Vietnam either, protected by bodyguards and doing journalism work? And yet the left bends over backwards to vilify W for TANG service. Or comes out with that DUI story right before 2000 election. Doesn’t seem to matter now that Obama admits drug use as youth, eh? Then again, let’s not ever mention Bill Clinton’s actual draft dodging AND protesting the war overseas.

I have seen several sources that state she is the sole beneficiary of the Heinz Foundation, and that she is still an active administrator of the Heinz Endowment, giving numerous philanthropic gifts, mainly to environmental causes. She has also received honorary doctorates from a dozen colleges and universities for her charitable work. Does any of that qualify as receiving benefit from the Heinz fortune?

Back in the early days of my naval career, I served with a number of swift boat/PBR veterans, both officer and enlisted. Most of them didn’t talk about it much, except one of my Gunners Mates who let us know that he occasionally woke up in the middle of the night screaming, because he was dreaming that he was fighting it out with a battalion of NVA regulars, most of whom he could see piled up like cord wood after the fight. That’s the way they all were. A couple of my Marine friends told me that in their units, in order to get a Purple Heart, you had to be hospitalized for at least 24 hours.
Seeing the Swift Boat Veterans during Kerry’s campaign made me think a lot about the other guys that I knew. Real sailors, real patriots. Not self-serving weasels. Kerry never did pass the sniff test for me. I would like to say to Kerry what one of the crusty old warrant officers used to say to me back in the day, “Come over here and I’ll p*ss on you. At least you’ll smell like a sailor.”
Everyone was calling the Swifties liars…EVERYONE…except one person. Throughout the entire thing, only one person did not come out and declare them liars. He may have said he didn’t appreciate what they were doing or words to that extent, but not once did he call them liars or say what they were presenting was not the truth.
That person was John F’n Kerry.
I cannot say much about someone wounded in battle, for my asthma kept me from service all three times I tried to enlist, though I seem to have been able to find a way to serve my country and community (arguably in a much more demanding way on my lungs than being in the military I might add) until I became disabled on the job. However, in reading all I can about Kerry’s supposed wounds and in how fast he put in for his 3 medals and then boogie back to the states routine, I was reminded of the M*A*S*H episode where Frank Burns put in for a Purple Heart after getting an egg shell in his eye while making breakfast and calling it a wound in a war zone.
Anyone remember that and find it similar?
Funny thing is, I am crippled for life, and I got no medals and have to fight for every little service, doctor visit, medication, procedure etc. I have to get. Everything needs to go through an attorney and even that is no guarantee. Let me tell you, if anything needs to be overhauled, it is the way that injured and disabled police and firemen are treated in this country. We are ewveryone’s hero and darling when we are needed, but once we are hurt, we are shoved to the side and forgotten all about. We’ll be lucky just to get Christmas off without a hitch this year. Thanks Governors Davis and Schwarzeneggar.

Our youngest son has asthma and it kept him out of the service. He did so want to fly for this country like
his brother. However, first son was too tall to fly and
youngest son could not breathe. Should have joined
Navy like Rose and Husband.

As for Kerry’s wounds, as I understood it, the only one that produced any blood was the second Purple Heart. Allegedly, in that incident, an RPG struck his boat and a tiny piece of metal lodged in his thigh.
This guy is all about himself and his power. He is a waste of oxygen in my opinion. He was never a leader and his treasonous actions during the 70’s are indicative of his selfish nature.
Did you know that to this day, the photo of Kerry meeting with North Vietnamese leaders in France is hanging in the N. Vietnam War Museum. Kerry played right into our enemies hands.
On a personal note, he ruined countless weekends for me when my unit, the 6th Cav based in Ft. Meade was required to work riot control in DC whenever he and Hanoi Jane showed up to protest the war.
I have no use for this person.
That picture is not only hung there, but he is actually accredited by them for helping to bring about their victory in the war. that’s right kiddies…they accredit the man who would be President of the United States and Leader of the Free World, a United States Senator with helping a Communist country with whom we were involved in an undeclared war with assisting the enemy to defeat us.
And not only was he helpful in that instance, and not only did he commit treason in the 70’s, but he has maintained those views to this day. He has kept his same stance towards the military with such statements as what happens if you don’t study and get good grades. You know…if you are an idiot, you go to the military and such.
And there was a healthy amount of people in this country that voted for and endorsed this man. They think and feel the same as he does. That is truly the frightening thing. While the Liberals like to go on about the 50+ million people who voted for Bush, very little is ever mentioned about the 50+ million people tha voted for someone who helped a Communist country fight against and win against this contry, our country and speaks out against the military that he would have been Commander in Chief of. Otherwise known as a traitor. What, pray tell, does that make them?

In my opinion, Heinz-Kerry doesn’t only continue to receive benefit from the Heinz fortune, she would be a nobody without it. Likewise, Kerry wouldn’t have been the 2004 democrat nominee without it.
John Kerry and Albert Gore, Jr. what do they have in common?
Both served incredibly short tours in Vietnam.
Both ran for President of the United States and made complete fools of themselves.
Both had Communist enablers.
Both continue to this day to scam the American public with their sanctimonious, specious sound bites.
Both are reviled by The Beached Chief as the lowest form of human life - The Professional Politician.
When Kerry ran for public office, he always had commercials showing him in the jungle of VietNam in green fatigues and walking with a rifle. Latr we found out this was a renactment. The MSM never asks him the simple question: “Wasn’t that a reenactment and why would you mislead voters?”. Then there was his claim that he was in Cambodia on a mission in Christmas, 1968 when he heard President Nixon on the radio saying that the US was not in Cambodia. One problem with that: Nixon did not become president until Jan. 20, 1969. Maybe Kerry wanted to blame only a Republican president for VietNam and not President Johnson, a Democrat. But nobody has ever found a speech by even Johnson in 1968 saying “we are not in Cambodia”. More likely, Kerry just told a whopper of a lie and he can’t get out of it.
