If the races had been reversed in this monstrous crime, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would already have booked their private planes on the first flight out to Baltimore. Via The Examiner:
As Sarah Kreager, 26, tried to sit down on a Baltimore City bus Tuesday, police say, a middle-schooler told her she couldn’t. When she attempted to take another seat, a middle-schooler wouldn’t let her. Finally, according to police, Kreager just sat down.
She was “immediately attacked” by nine students — three females and six males — from Robert Poole Middle School. They punched and kicked her at 2:59 p.m. at the intersection of 33rd Street and Chestnut Avenue, according to Maryland Transit Administration police.
Kreager was dragged off the bus and her boyfriend, Troy Ennis, attempted to get her back on, police said.
She sustained “serious injuries” and had to be transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, according to a police report.

Two seats and the bus’ rear glass were destroyed during the attack, police said.
The bus driver on the No. 27 line quickly called police, who responded and arrested the nine juveniles, said Jawauna Greene, an MTA police spokeswoman.
All nine suspects, ages 14 and 15, were arrested and charged with aggravated assault…
…The suspects in the incident are black. The victim is white, according to the police report.

What do you think would have happened if she or her boyfriend tried to defend themselves instead of taking a beating from 9 dysfunctional kids??

Hate crime…absolutely. (All crimes that involve violence are hate crimes…duh) However, white people are allowed to be victims of hate crimes because white people deserve it. Actually that is encouraged.

It sounds like another group of young sociopaths from the hood just marking their territory. Just like the poor kid beat down by the Jena 6 this poor woman was probably just asking for it for being white. Had the roles been reversed there is not doubt the race hustlers would have been all over this stoking the flames of racial hatred, marching in the streets, and making someone fork over some cash to enrich the cult of the victim.
This is a very disturbing trend a lady I work with provided a refuge to a teenage boy 2 weeks ago fleeing a group of about 20 punks from our local high school that were bulling and picking on anyone their own age not part of their specific click. The kid was really shook up and was unable to contact his parents on his cell phone and resorted to knocking on the nearest door for help. Kid was so scared he didn’t have the sense to call 911, but when seconds count the Police are only minutes away. The kid hung out in their living room until the coast was clear and they made sure he got home OK. All the kids involved were white but, our community has a population less than 15,000 including the local Military population 10 miles from town so it is not just an urban issue.
The pack/herd mentality can be a dangerous thing and the loss of morals, common courtesy, and failure to hold people accountable for their negative behavior is starting to unravel the fabric of our civilization. It appears the liberal’s hard work in sabotaging our way of life is really beginning to work and American society is going off the tracks.
It sounds as if he was, and when the thugs dragged her off the bus, he tried to get her back on - presumably so the driver could shut the doors and drive off.
This is a nightmare.
Does Baltimore have a “Stop Snitchin’” policy like many neighborhoods here in Milwaukee? Hopefully witnesses on the bus will come forward and get these punk kids off the bus and off the street.

I suspect the boyfriend, realizing he couldn’t fight 9 and protect her at the same time was trying to get her back on the bus, which is probably what I would do. When the only way to get to her is through a single doorway, let those punks make another go at her. Like Segal says, “He could be the biggest guy in the world; you smash his kneecap and he’ll drop like a stone.”
This does sound like a gang initiation, or it could just be pack mentality gone wild. Either way these punks need to be slammed down HARD or next time someone is going to die.

What is wrong with this picture is the excuses already being made by some parents of these thugs. If any of my children had been any way involved in this beating, even as an onlooker, they would be severely punished by myself and their father. And there lies the problem, kids quickly cotton on to weak and ineffectual parenting, those thugs obviously had no fear of consequences.
Anyone remember shaking in your shoes after your mother said “wait till your father gets home”. I do and my kids do too.

This quote comes from WBAL TV and I believe it to be more accurate than whatever that left wing rag, The Baltimore Sun prints. They are quick to get the attackers justifications in print while they ignore the truth.
In MD, these juveniles will be tried in the juvenile system so that means the worst they could get is confinement until they are 18 years old. I seriously doubt that they will get that much time.
Remember this is the same city that shot and killed 3 cops in less than 90 days.
In ATL 9 black youths beating up somebody are referred to as “emerging rap artists” or “promising hip-hop entertainers”. You need the street cred if you expect to make in the hip-hop world. They will now get an agent, sign a record deal and before you know it they will be hosting the BET Music Awards.

I have been on the receiving end of this mentality one. A kid backed into my car. No big deal. He is black and I am white. I approached him and he was scared to death. The first thing I did was try and calm him and tell him it was no big deal, insurance would take care of it – I was not mad. He was cool. Then, mamma jumps out of the car and says, “those dent already be there.” I just looked at him, shook my head and sent him on his way.
He learned a valuable lesson that day. I hope it was from me.

Just a minor point, but did the story identify the race of the boyfriend or did I miss it?
Yeah, those posts were in pretty bad taste.
My daughter lives in Baltimore and rides the bus on a regular basis. To say that this frightens me is an understatement. Sadly, discipline seems to be a thing of the past in some of these dysfunctional groups….I’d say families but somehow that word just doesn’t fit. Once there was discipline not only in the home, but in the schools. Now you can’t look cross-eyed at anyone without being threatend with ruinous law suits. If we don’t stop tip toeing around these little thugs and stop tolerating this kind behavior, it will only get worse. The legal system, the race baiters, the moral dereliction of our leaders all contribute to a decaying society. Those trying to raise their children to be respectful of people and property, and to become productive and useful adults are being undermined by the indoctrination by schools, media and other sources. We need to support these families and let our local, state, federal, and school officials know in no uncertain terms how we feel about these things.
Sure - nothing happening here. Move along now. Just a typical Baltimore beating - third one in as many weeks - nothing to see - no real problem here. Can’t we all just get along now?

Like I said, frustration. The problem is, that if there were activists who came to highlight that woman’s situation, all involved would be vilified for being racist.
A criminal is as a criminal does, whether they be black or white, and until the racist excuses are ignored for what they are and until we start punishing criminals appropriately REGARDLESS of color, that frustration will remain.

This is so upsetting. As a 40 year old white woman I cannot imagine how horrible it must have been and sickening.
What upsets me is the protection kids get for doing outrageous things. And they know they will get leniency. I think they need to be punished. After all, how else do bad kids learn to go straight? When they suffer!
I had a very stupid leftist friend once. We were talking about the Long Beach white girls who were almost killed by a mob of underaged black kids. The kids got off easy, were practically able to continue on their lives without a hitch while the girls were dealing with serious issues. This person I was talking to actually said “Well the judge had to choose ‘rehabilitation’”. I kid you not. This person I was talking to didn’t want the kids to suffer at all..because after all they would not “rehabilitate”. Morons. This is why you can never trust crime/punishment issues with leftists…they are totally lacking common sense and right and wrong. Total morons.

Interestingly, the Germans use the phrase “buntes Auge”. Literally, a “colorful eye”. Having seen the “buntes Auge” of my HS soccer team’s goalie after he got kicked in the face blocking the goal (about 20 years ago, in Germany), that is really a more accurate description. And these days, that would also remove any unintended racial overtones…
