What San Fran Nan knew
Here’s my appearance on FNC’s The Big Story today on what San Fran Nan knew about waterboarding, why the moonbats are raging, and how the hindsight hypocrisy of the Dems is par for the course.
The WSJ:
One certainly may hold as abhorrent the idea of aggressively interrogating any terrorists ever, either for fear of what they might do to our people, as John McCain does, or because one thinks this violates our values. What one may not do — at least not if one wants the system to function — is assent to such a policy in 2002 and then, when the policy is made public, put up the pretense that one is “shocked” and appalled to learn of it.
This is bad faith. Worse, it risks setting in motion the ruin or eventual criminal prosecution of CIA employees who in 2002 did what the Bush Administration, Congress and indeed the nation wanted them to do to protect the American people from another September 11.
It has been widely reported by now that waterboarding was used on only three individuals — Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who planned the airliner attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon; Abu Zebaydah, an Osama bin Laden confidante captured in Pakistan 2002 and described as a director of al-Qaeda operations; and a third unidentified person. If Speaker Pelosi and her colleagues want the handling of such terrorists conformed to what they call “our values,” then she should define that and put it in an explicit piece of legislation. Then let the Members vote yea or nay, in public, on the record.
But don’t sign off on such a sensitive policy at a moment when the nation’s “values” support it, then later feign revulsion when you can’t take the heat from the loudest in your political constituency. There was a time when politics at least assumed more backbone than that.

How ironic that her initial approval of the use of water-boarding may well be the only positive thing that Pelosi has ever done for this country… and now her base is turning on her for it. I love it.

Isn’t it amazing that she has been screaming, “it’s what the American people want,” and yet nothing has gotten done the whole year. Hillary says she’s the most qualified, experienced and yet when asked certain questions she cannot answer them either. Denial, denial, denial. What ever the day calls for. I cannot wait for Pelosi’s removal from office.

She was for it before she was against it until she realized that proceeding thought was grounds for reconsideration and plausible deniability in all future circumstances, thus providing ample wiggle room for slimy politicos to break free of uncomfortably intense lines of questioning.

The democraps in leadership positions are all hypocrites. Power hungry, big spending hypocrites.
First off we need to forever shed even the tiniest notion of any conscience caring by any liberal lawmakers that torture actually occurs or not.
Then we need to nail them to the wall with it.
Her leaking would have been treasonous and truly worthy of prosecution. End of discussion.
I refer back to my other comments on this same topic. We cease any and all torture immediately.
Instead, we simply drill holes in people’s bodies while they are still alive. We send out death squads to kill anyone who disagrees with us or our beliefs. (Even among our own kind and among similar faiths) We (slowly) saw off heads with knives rather than lopping them off quickly. We invite all of the liberal elite to join us in singing our praises as a Nation of Peace. If anybody challenges us (that we cannot kill immediately) we call for their death and scold them for not being sensitive to our religion or system of beliefs.

How can any sane person really be surprised by this. These dems are in key positions in our government and the majority of our congress and senate are briefed on a weekly basis on these affairs. Remember how they all voted for the war before they were against it. These loons are more of the Clintonian school of politics. Rule by public poll and greese the squeeky wheel. Do not use common sense or thought.
It is a shame that more Americans are not awake as to these fraudulant congresional members.

Hey, I live in this socialist quagmire. I remember the 2003 SF Mayor’s race. Mega-liberal Newsome was supported by most republicans because his runoff opponent, brain-dead, mega-liberal Matt Gonzalez, is so far left, he made Newsome look moderate. Gonzalez was angry because he said, “This race is going to be decided by republicans.” Believe it or not, that actually made the evening SF news! But as usual, not one “reporter” bothered to follow up with the obvious question: So, Mr. Gonzalez, do you think the republicans should be denied the vote?
The liberals in CA love these ultra-socialists. It makes people like Pelosi look slightly right of center. Until they have to pander to their base.

I ask you—what is more American. Let your family, friends and other citizens die so the beasts that want to kill us can have a nice day? I say it is more American to do anything we can to protect our loved ones and citizens and if a beast has to drink a little water too damn bad.
