Well, it’s about time.

But is it too little, too late?

I think Fred’s timing is just right. He’ll peak just in time for a strong showing (at least 2nd) in Iowa and win the rest of the primaries.

Border security/immigration is a winning issue for the GOP (unless they go for amnesty). The ultimate candidate should be credible on it.

Unfortunately, Huck, Rudy, and Romney’s credibility is easily shot by past positions on it.

If one of the formerly or presently pro-amnesty/sanctuary city candidates tries to run on this in the general election, there’ll be no distinction between him and Obama/Clinton.

    Just my $.02, anyway.

I think that it’s more time for conservatives to realize that Fred is the only conservative capable of beating the Democrat nominee. The others may be able to beat the Democrat, but they’re not conservative. Evidence the show of hands from the RINOs who think that global warming is man-made and those who think that illegal aliens should become citizens.

Vote for Fred or vote for a RINO. It’s that simple.

A RINO can lose the election to Clinton/Obama because there won’t be much distinction between them. A conservative like Fred or Hunter can win big by drawing clear distinctions between him and Hillary/Obama or any DemocRAT.

    Ditto that!

And maybe U.S. District Judge James Payne for Attorney General. See his great opinion of yesterday: illegal aliens have no standing before his court to challenge the constitutionality of a state law, when their grievances could be remedied simply by complying with federal law.

Patience, Mitt, Huck, Rudy, etc have been in this for the better part of a year. These guys have been wearing themselves out. I think Fred is starting to hit his stride. Timing is everything.

Raise your hand if you believe global warming is caused by humans.

Fred: I’m not gonna debate by a show of hands, I’m not gonna play that game, give me a minute to answer you and I will.

I just love it when he does his smack down thing. He knows what he believes in and isn’t afraid to speak out. He doesn’t stop and figure out how he can word things to play both sides. He has strong convictions, a great sense of humor and knows how to use both.

Considering how fast the Huckaboom went up, and considering the support for the average Republican candidate isn’t exactly a mile wide (though it is closer to an inch deep), it’s not yet too late. ‘Tis good to see that Thompson got a rapid response team out there.

I would like to apologize to Geraldo for pointing out he is a fool and his apology to Michelle was weak and pathetic.

I further apologize my spit wad aimed at him fell short. I aimed at the ground and missed.

I further apologize for bringing up that “vault” thingy and that “vault” thingy was as empty as his head.

While I am at it, I apologize to Bill O’ for hanging the “Pin Head” on him for allowing Geraldin-o to come on his show and throw down aforementioned apology to Michelle.

I would also like to apologize to Bill O’ for boycotting his show because of that debacle. I am still not going to watch it but I will no longer boycott it.

    I feel better now!

    Thanks – I’m still laughing.

What is funny/sad all at once, because in a liberals mind, all events are independent of any other event, to them, every one of your apologies makes perfect sense.

We apologize for telling reporters that a BA in Biblical Studies from Ouachita Baptist University doesn’t, in fact, make Huckabee more qualified to fight the war on terror than say…Fred Thompson.

In an interview with CBNNews in November, Huckabee said “…I truly understand the nature of the war that we are in with Islamo fascism. These are people that want to kill us. … And I don’t know if anybody fully understands that. I’m the only guy on that stage with a theology degree.”

Me thinks the S.S. Huckaboom is listing heavily to port, and taking more hits at the waterline.
