The Clintons are exactly like the Tom and Daisy Buchanan characters that Scott Fitzgerald so loathed. At the end of the book, Fitzgerald describes how the Buchanans destroyed lives and then moved on, indifferent to the consequences of their conduct. That is the Clintons to the max. The Clintons thought they could do this to Barack Obama. I don't agree with Barack Obama on the issues. But he is really the first public figure who has not been intimidated by the Clintons and refuses to allow the Clintons and their network of Carville/Begala, CNN, Hollywood and the 3 networks to destroy him.
