Surprisingly, we don’t disagree on that point at all. My hope is that what this man did isn’t diminished because of all the bad stories we hear. I think the guy is a hero. It would have been very easy for him to just walk away, knowing that if he stayed with the boy, he’d have to deal with law enforcement. Thankfully, he didn’t. I know he was given a one day visa to be honored by the border patrol in Arizona. I hope that he applies for a work visa the right way and that his application is fast tracked.

While my home was being built, I distinctly told my general contractor that I wanted NO ILLEGALS working inside of my home. I knew that they would be framing my home, but I did not want them having access to the inside work…..like trimming, floors, etc.

Do you think my GC listened to me? NO.
For almost every job, including painting, they were here everyday unsupervised, reeking of alcohol, late, trashing the place, horrible workmanship, to only name a few.

Since I have moved into my home, there is so much damage to the inside…..walls, paint, trim, sheetrock, etc.

The companies that were subcontracted were legals. However they give these jobs to illegals to save themselves money, reporting no taxes, and no insurance for illegals.

What do you do? I am still VERY upset with shoddy workmanship and my GC has disappeared.

Yeah, they do the work most citizens won’t do, like CRAPPY WORK.

My statement, was a general statement. I never said that he had ASKED for citizenship (which I would really consider based on his one good deed alone) I merely pointed out that one does heroic things without the expectation of a reward.

Therefore, the media should not be using this story alone as a litmus test to imply amnesty to all immigrants.

For every one GOOD illegal their are several bad…just like in any population. Fact of the matter is, if you are not already here…we have the right and ability to filter the bad ones out. And you know what…That is OK!!! That is fair. And that is OUR RIGHT.

Man that pisses me off almost as much as the rape does. Just think…if he had been at his home in Guadalajara or some other South of the Border town and had never come across the Border illegally at all, he would still probably be sitting in his home south of the border and that woman would still have her life and sense of security and dignity and not have to suffer a lifetime of fear and nightmares.

Just think…if we could just shut Liberals up and be allowed to shut down the borders to illegal crossings all together, and to deport the illegals we have here now, and to be able to stop allowing the Liberals to spread their lies and fear mongering about “You cannot live without the illegals” and “There is no way you can deport them all” and all the rest of their dishonest propaganda, just think about how the State of California would not be in the fiscal emergency it is in, how the crime rates would drastically drop over night, and how the unemployment rates would also drop to near zero.

Oh, but I forgot…people that have no legal rights under our Constitution have rights under our COnstitution. Just ask a Liberal. They’ll lie to…I mean, they’ll tell you.

That said, though, securing the borders, stopping the flow of illegals both good and bad, rounding up the illegals within the country and punishing the employers – in short, enforcing the law – is simple common sense. Unfortunately selfishness and greed trump common sense almost every time; especially with politicians.

Feebie is right. A hero does what he/she
does without expecting anything in return. Oftentimes, a hero is someone who
is just as frightened as the next person but has the fortitude to do what has to be
done even while afraid.
