I can somewhat relate to the sentiment, though. The thought of having a surrendercrat for Commander in Chief scares me.
I think Edwards scares himself every time he looks in a mirror. He and his fellow losercrats are delunsional and live in a perpetual state of denial.
God help us if any of them win.
If mere Republicans scare her, I wonder what would happen if I showed up on her radar screen.

I am jumping on my private jet to fly across the country and get my haircut and stock up on tangerines so that I feel better before going back to my mansion across the street from a trailer park so I can feel sorry for myself while I look down on the
realother America.I think Mrs. Edwards would be happier if she went to someplace where there was less Republicans after death. I don’t think she would be as happy in Heaven, she would rather go to a place where there are more Democrats.
Sounds like a definitive phobia to me. After all, if simply thinking that homosexual behavior is a bad idea is a phobia, then actual unreasoning fear must be some super-ultra-mega-lock-her-away-for-life sized phobia.
Anybody got a good word for this phobia?
I hate to say this, but the Edwards’ family might poll better if Elizabeth were running.
She’s a spunky woman — glad to see she’s taking a break from radiation/chemo to get back on the trail.

From some reason, Mrs. Edwards — and I’m happy to hear that she is feeling much better and is able to utter her trademark inane line — had dropped off my horizon. Good to see things are back on track at the Edwards campaign: John takes the high road of sweetness and light, and Elizabeth fights tough, low, and mean (just kidding). For the Clintons, there may well be a Disturbance in the Force, but with Mr. and Mrs. Edwards, things are steady and on course.
I suppose to be fair I should confess there are plenty of “wide-stance” Republicans (meaning that in the political sense, of course) aka RINOs who scare me. Now, I don’t want to come across as a “Ghost Dance” Republican, hoping for the return of our GOP ancestors to save us. So let me put it this way: if nations get the government they deserve, what hideous crime did the American people commit to deserve this?
If just Republicans scare her, then I guess that’s proof enough that they are not qualified for the positions of President and First Lady. What if we get attacked again? There are a lot scarier things than people that disagree with you, sister. And if that’s all it takes to scare you, I shudder to think what you might do to those people given that they scare you so much and you see them as a threat. But keep talking. The more we scare you, the more we’ll scare you!
That’s right, the party that tries to save the unborn, that tries to get the criminal thugs and rapists and murderers off the streets permanently, that wants to keep the baby rapers in prison if not out of the gene pool, and that wants to rid the planet off all Islamic Naxi scum and free the world from terrorism of all sorts are the ones to be frightened of.
I can see why you Dems and Libs would be frightened. We are a direct threat to your pot smoking, free lovin, tree huggin, free thinkin life styles. That’s right. We don’t want you to use abortion, the vacuuming out of a living child, as a form of birth control just because you were too lazy or too stupid to put on a condom or use the pill. Be scared. We don’t want you to grow acres and acres of pot plants, smoke opium on the weekends, make bath tub meth and smoke crack, be scared. We don’t want you to tell us what we can drive, where we can live, how we can live, what we can say, how we can say it, what kind of gas to use, where we can drill for oil, what kind of holiday we can celebrate, whether or not we can say Merry Christmas etc…
Be scared of us.
But by all means, do not fear the Islamic Global Caliphate and Jihad. They are your friends. they are just misunderstood and a minority.

So, Republicans scare Mrs. John Edwards. That’s disappointing, this country is at war with a relentless enemy. Our current and potential leaders, and their families, need to demonstrate bravery and resolve, not frailty. I guess the Edwards are not suited to lead this greatest of great nations.

Mrs Edwards these are real fears and real problems. Thinking that half the country is scary is beyond intellectual thinking. I believe it is time for you and your husband to go home and raise your family as you fight a disease that should be your biggest fear.
Once you understand that the press is the heart and soul of the America-hating left, everything makes sense. Democrats can lie and slime knowing the press will carry it as ‘news’. Edward’s wife, who is as domineering as Hillary it seems, is a woman without class, sick or no. Compare this shrieking shrew with Barbara Bush, Laura Bush, Nancy Reagan, or Pat Nixon to see how far the culture has sunk. No democrats, nowhere, no how, no time. They are poison.

The reason she’s so afraid of republicans is they are actually capable of winning the election. And nothing scares democrats more than not being the party in power.

My favorite story involving Mr. and Mrs. Silky Pony was a Campaign 2004 incident, when they pretended to eat “blue collar” fare at a Wendy’s in Newburgh, NY. Unannounced to the real world, Silky and friends were just masquerading while nibbling on their ‘Old Fashioned Combo Meals’ for the cameras. All the while, they were keeping plenty of room for the 19 French gourmet meals (and a one Mr. Ben Affleck) awaiting them on their chartered bus.
For the intellectually curious, the 5-Star lunch prepared by Chef Michael Dederick from Nikola’s Restaurant at the Newburgh Yacht Club, consisted of shrimp vindallo, grilled diver sea scallops, prosciutto-wrapped stuffed chicken, and steak salad.
A wonderful time was had by all. In particular, Silky Pony and Mr. Affleck experienced the prosciutto-wrapped stuffed chicken to be ‘tres magnifique.’ However, John and Teresa Heinz-Kerry found the shrimp vindallo to clash with the audacious aftertaste of the gin-soaked raisins.
I always chuckle when reading about Mr. and Mrs. Silky Pony frequenting a Wendy’s Hamburger Restaurant on the eve of their wedding anniversary. If anyone has the inherent ability to create the image of two separate Americas, that person is the Silky Pony.
