It was well known among her friends that a letter from her family describing how her parents couldn’t sleep without her home, and informing her she wouldn’t have to wear the hijab, persuaded her to return home.

They even lie to their own children to carry out the wishes of thier sicko religion. My guess is there was some Imam in the back ground coaching them on how to get her to comply.

And as Ann Coulter said "The Easter Bunny, Santa Clause and a Moderate Muslim walk into a bar. . . ." All fictitious characters.

We've been preached to for 30 years now by the multi-culti's and the PC people that all cultures are the same. So it is with the Muslims. This is seen right and good in their eyes, who are we to criticize it? So a pretty teenager loses her life over a stupid scarf - that's her father's call. Family shame is more important that his daughter's life.
I think we should have a separate set of laws for the Muslims. After all, they are just products of their culture. We should celebrate their diversity and their ways, while not ours, they are entitled to them.
Ok, this is sarcasm, but it's true too.

That international pressure was necessary to stop Islamic barbarism, proves once again, that Islam has no place in a progressive and modern world.

A bit of good news, although I must take this with a grain of salt:

Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah has pardoned a female rape victim who had been sentenced to 200 lashes for being alone with a man at the time of the attack who was not related to her, a Saudi newspaper reported Monday. ...

"The king always looks into alleviating the suffering of the citizens when he becomes sure that these verdicts will leave psychological effects on the convicted people, though he is convinced and sure that the verdicts were fair," al-Jazirah quoted al-Sheik as saying.

The victim in the case, known only as the "Girl of Qatif" after her hometown in eastern Saudi Arabia, was in a car with a high school friend in 2006 when they were attacked and raped by seven men.

Source

So hopefully we'll hear more "international outcry" at these barbaric acts and things will change.

I just got back from Orlando, FL visiting a relative. They pointed out a "new church" of muslims in their neighborhood. I went by the fenced compound which had warning no trespassing signs, was a men's only gathering and had thuggish looking security guards at the front gate. Signs warned of security cameras. People say there is activity there all the time of men coming and going. What I saw was obviously middle eastern men gathered and not one woman. There are many churches along this road (near Central FL U.) but they don't seem to have all the warnings or gates to keep the "infidels" out! I'm concerned what is going on in our neighborhoods.
