Operation Rescue Hillary
Ah, the whiff of desperation in morning. Can you smell it? It’s Hillary Clinton’s new perfume. She’s on a whirlwind media tour this morning to rescue her crumbling campaign. “You can look inside her mouth, if you want.” Eww.
However flabbergastingly stupid her missteps have been, though, it would be a mistake to count her out. (Case in point: See The Real Oprah Effect.) She may be as transparent as glass to most of us, but she does have legions of blind followers, supporters, and fence-sitters who will be swayed by maudlin efforts like the new likeability project and “The Hillary I Know” website:
New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, trying to warm up an image some voters perceive as cold, starts a drive Monday to showcase her personal side with testimonials from friends, associates and constituents she has helped.
The online and in-person campaign, complete with a website called TheHillaryIKnow.com, comes a day after Clinton won a key endorsement from The Des Moines Register and her chief rival in the Democratic nomination race, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, was endorsed by The Boston Globe……Clinton had an unfavorable rating of 50% in a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll this month, compared with mid-30s for Obama and former North Carolina senator John Edwards. She was rated least friendly of the three in a recent Pew Research Center poll.
Taking steps to fix the problem, Clinton has brought her mother and daughter to Iowa and featured them in TV ads. One of Clinton’s constituents, Shannon Mallozzi of East Northport, N.Y., was on her way there Sunday as part of the new campaign. Mallozzi has a 6-year-old daughter with an incurable brain disease called hydrocephalus. As she waited to catch a plane to Des Moines for two days of campaigning, she said she spent a half-hour with Clinton several years ago to describe the disease and ask how to encourage federal research.
“She made me feel like it was just two mothers” talking in her car, Mallozzi said, then worked with her to get action on the disease and checked up on her daughter’s health. Mallozzi said she once viewed Clinton as aloof and remote, but “she’s anything but that.”
Mark Penn, a top Clinton strategist, said that’s the message: “It’s important for people to understand the depth of Hillary, the way she has helped people.”

Voting for Hillary is like voting for her cheating, lying, greedy, coward husband who cut and run from Somalia and put the white-house room-to-rent for 1 mil a night, all over again.
Hill and Bill are two sides of the same coin.
I’m reminded of that old saying: You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. If you need to launch a campaign to “show” how nice you are, you probably aren’t very nice. Moreover, this is a woman who has been in the public eye for years and years. I think we know her. That’s her problem.

Hillbillary is dull.
She also made a more explicit appeal to women voters, whom her campaign was counting on to come out in large numbers for Clinton.
“Countries that deny women their rights are often countries we have problems with, aren’t they?” she said. “When I am president I will continue to make changes that are good and right for women and are also smart for national security.”
She is a woman running for presidency. What more “changes” are needed? .. or is it just a catchy slogan to pocket women votes?
There is nothing warm or likeable about Hillary. You can put all the perfume you want on a turd, but its still a turd!
I knew some Air Force EOD and bomb sniffing dog guys that worked POTUS security details when the Clintons were in power. Not one of them had a good thing to say about “she who must not be named.” Of course these Airmen were not allowed to wear their Military uniforms around her either.
I am really enjoying this and hope it continues. I can also see the desperation in her husband’s appearances and he appears to be dragging her down too. Not that she and her minions have not done enough damage to here campaign themselves. May she continue to earn her just deserts!
Any of the Democrats running for POTUS will be a disaster if elected, but so will the gang of 4 RINOs the MSM keeps trying to shove down our throats too. Go Fred, Duncan, and Tom! The only true conservatives with their hats in the ring.
I’m beginning to think that the cackle is her real laugh. It’s a cross between Fran Drescher and Arnold Horshack. If I have to listen to that screech for 4 years, I will stop wearing ear protection when I go to the shooting range! At least until she takes away our gun rights.

People who worked with Hillary Clinton know all too well how “warm and fuzzy” Hillary can be. Just ask George Stephanopoulis. He details in his book how Hillary would go into wild, insane temper tantrums and degrade Stephanopoloulis like he was a school boy. Someone should dig up the video tape of Hillary Clinton the day she showed up at a press conference of a candidate who was running against Bill back in Arkansas. Hillary interrupted the candidate, would not let him speak, and pummeled him with rude and nasty questions. That video should get on you tube. Hopefully it is available somewhere. Then there is Hillary Clinton’s treatment of Gennifer Flowers. When Ms. Flowers went public with her affair with Bill, Hillary knew it was all true. Yet Hillary organized the destroy Gennifer campaign that the MSM bought into. Hillary even lied on national television telling interviewers that “yes we know Gennifer Flowers” and suggesting that it was all trash for cash. When Bill admitted in his deposition that he indeed had a physical relationship with Flowers, one would think Hillary would apologize.

I almost feel as the alleged Dem email from last week saying they’re holding off on Huckabee because he’s an easy mark. Hillary is an easy take down for the Republicans if she gets the nod. I’m almost inclined to “let” her win so that we can return to the days of Reaganesque landslides where only Minnesota and DC vote Dem. Now which state is Hillary’s real home state? AR? NY? Confusion? Denial?
There is so much dirt on Hillary that will surface if she makes it to the general election, which I hope she does, because she won’t win it. IMHO Hillary is totally unelectable. Just look at her picture. It clearly communicates what’s inside and it’s just as ugly as the outside.

I saw Hillary’s performance this morning too. It was very odd. She sounded so forced and unnatural. I don’t know if she thinks laughter humanizes her… but if that’s what she’s going for she will need a slightly less creepy laugh, it just sounded so fake.

Wasn’t it Hillary’s mother that stood at the back door of the White House loading up the WH China and Silver and anything else not nailed down; while Bill & Hill were leaving out the front door on inauguration day 2001?

A vote for Hillary..(Or any Democrat or a couple Republicans..i.e. Huckabee/Paul) is a vote endorsed by Osama Bin Laden…he is dreaming of a day when we hole up and spend 4 or more years regrowing his Terror empire un-obstructed.

Hillary is really starting to look like like the tired old hag that she is. If the campaign is affecting her this much, how can she possibly hope to stand up to the pressure of the presidency??
I just hope she wins the Dem nomination. She absolutely will find a way to alienate every American voter and ultimately lose.

What I would like to know is…who, exactly, is running for President, in the Clinton family; Bill, Hillary or both? Seems, these days, Bill is running more than Hillary. If elected, it will be the first “Bi-Presidency” seen. Add a buddy VP, and it will be something that once was proposed, and rejected, by the Constitution Convention.
Does anyone else remember Hillary’s story about being turned away by Marine recruiters when she tried to enlist?

I’d like to know what anyone of the current crop running from the Senate has actually accomplished as a Senator, legislation-wise..Hillary, Biden, Dodd, Edwards, McCain, Thompson? Yes, McCain can be a great compomiser selling out Conservative principles. Edwards can’t even win his own state and yet I see loads of support for him here in moonbat country Palm Beach, Florida.
Took some online test to determine who best reflected my concerns and Romney and Thompson tied for first with the socialists on the bottom. But talk is cheap and how do we know which candidate won’t flipflop in future?
If by some weird alignment of the stars or such, a Huckleberry or Paul is the GOP standard bearer, I’d sit out the vote. Don’t want repeats of Carter, LBJ or Clinton.
Having met the woman a few times I can only say that she is genuinely frightening in a way few other politicians are.
I think Bill wants this more than anything. He really misses the spotlight, and this is their “workaround” into getting him elected for a 3rd and/or 4th term.
IF (God forbid) Hillary became the next president, Bill would have a real hard time controlling himself, in more ways than one, as we’ve seen blatantly exhibited in his last presidency.

No, I’m not a Clinton lover, like I was accused of by one conservative editor because I disagreed on his putting a beheaded girls photo without warning on his page and I was banned from one site because I said something against Ann Coulter and immediately was called a liberal. I think you, Rush, Drudge, anyone is foolish to attack someone on their looks. It’s almost as bad as attacking someone on their religion.

That picture of Hillary reminded me of Gerald Ford in 1980.
Ford was on a whirlwind tour in support of Reagan. He was to appear in Arlington VA at then candidate Frank Wolfe breakfast fundraiser. I was working that fundraiser and happened to see Ford arrive.
He looked awful. He had flown all night from CA to make the event and his face sagged, eyes sunk way in - just like that picture of Hillary.
But as he was being introduced, it was like an electric switch had been thrown. He threw back his shoulders, his face lit up with a smile, and he was like a new man.
Gave a great speech - a real rouser. And then walked off the stage. As he walked by me outside in the hallway I saw that he was once again a very tired looking man. I shook his hand (the only handshake I’ve ever gotten from a president) and thanked him for coming. He smiled a very tired smile and was off.
My point being, these pols wear themselves down running for office but can turn it on and shine whenever the situation warrants it. Hillary has looked better - as I’m sure she looked the next time she appeared before a crowd.

She really shouldn’t have pissed off her Fairy Godmother like that. They have a really do hold a grudge and a mean swing with that ugly stick.
Senator Clinton will likely age thanks to the pressures of running for the Presidency. A win for her would be problematic for her political enemies (I smell Nixon-esque eminations from her), so I pray that we never get to that point.
While the camera may never blink, those of us who have an opportunity to see that she never occupies the Oval Office in any capacity other than “Visitor” should think twice before answering the siren’s call about making personal attacks.
I’d like to think that we are better than that.
There are a few gazillion reasons why I won’t vote for Hillary.
