I think the reason she is a media darling iis very simeple. First, the people in the media who fawn over her did not serve in the military during the Vietnam era, instead, they took their deferments and hid in safety. Second, if these same people were to criticise Fonda, that might expose them for the cowards they are. I know many men my age who didn’t serve and when they find out I did, they hem and haw and change the subject. In academia and in the media, the senior management is made up of cowards who avoided service.

Alright, since my original post did not appear, here I go again:

I was a teenager when Hanoi Jane went to Vietnam on her “good will trip”. I distincly remember watching her spew pro-Viet Cong dogma on the evening news. She posed for propaganda films, including the horrendous episode behind the NVA gun emplacement. She made numerous radio addresses, and called the P.O.W.s “liars” when they related stories of their mistreatment at the hands of the Communists she loved so much. That bitch should have been shot for treason the minute she stepped back on American soil.

Yes, it is true that she has done all these truly heinous acts…

But my friends, what I feel is even worse than that…what is truly even more heinous…is the fact that by the very nature of how she has got away with all this treasonous acts, how by the very nature of her ability to continue to not only work in Hollywood following her treason, her spitting on our military and all the things that no sane person, no American in their right mind would do and expect not to be stood up before a firing squad, but the fact that she has garnered awards as well…

No, not even those things are as bad as…

The fact that ALL THESE THINGS COMBINED has lead to the new crop of anti-American, seditious, traitorous, low foreheaded, knuckle-draggers you see such as Cindy Sheehan, the Code Pinkos and all the rest.

Had the United States treated her the way they should have, taken her the moment she got home and put her in cuffs and drug her off to a Federal prison to serve out whatever justice her treason deserved, maybe we wouldn’t be getting accosted by the likes of these traitors at every turn. However, she was the great green light to traitors everywhere. Since then, they just can’t seem to help themselves. Until there is someone with the cajones to step up and follow the law, they will only get worse and continue to get stronger.

And we all have Jane Fonda to thank for that.

#88 James, according to the libs Cubas economic woes are caused by the American trade embargo, which also forces their government to throw people in jail for things like signing petitions and or watching uncensored television broadcasts. On the flip side normal trade and commerce with third world countries are also viewed as American exploitation not to mention destruction of the local culture.

I wish I could say I was joking but I know people (don’t we all?) that spout this nonsense on a regular basis.

Fonda’s right, communism is better than capitalism and makes for a happier life. For confirmation of this all you have to do is look at the thousands of people every year willing to leave everything they have behind and risk their very lives trying to swim from Florida to Cuba.

Fonda said at the University of Texas, “We’ve got to establish a socialist economic structure that will limit private profit-oriented businesses. Whether the transition is peaceful depends on the way our present governmental leaders react.”

She all but called for the violent overthrow of the government.

Of course she’s a traitor to our country.

But that’s why the left idolizes her: treason to America is loyalty to humanity.

My dad is a retired Navy pilot who is normally an eerily-calm kind of guy. I heard him curse only a handful of times in the 18 years I lived in his house…and even then, the curse consisted only of the word “damn”. He simply had virtually complete control of his emotions. One glaring exception to that rule: any mention of Jane Fonda. Dad’s career included a few flights over Viet Nam and a lot of time with war veterans, and her name and likeness were simply not allowed in our home. She was (is) evil personified, and every time she is lauded by the media it’s like salt in a wound.

This same female dog (Fonda) is 10 years older and has lived 3x longer than many of the American POWs that she flew over to spit on and mock before they died.

In this same time, she has violated every one of her “youthful” communist
principles and has lived a life completely based upon the accumulation of wealth.
