The “white boys” vs. “Hillaryland”
The WSJ has a softball profile of Hillary’s “right-hand woman” (er, shouldn’t that be “left-hand woman”), open borders activist and Norman Hsu guest Patti Solis Doyle. She is known as the “Latina queena:”
Patti Solis grew up a gangly girl with cat-eye glasses and armfuls of books in the working-class Pilsen section of Chicago, the youngest of six children. She was the favorite of her father, Santiago Solis, who first entered the U.S. illegally from Mexico with almost no education. (Both parents and the four siblings born in Mexico became U.S. citizens later.) When the first son got involved in Chicago politics, Patti and other family members handed out leaflets and attended his rallies. She went to Northwestern University on scholarship and followed her brother, who became an alderman, into Chicago politics.
At the start of Bill Clinton’s presidential bid in 1991, a Chicago political consultant he’d hired sent Ms. Solis to Arkansas to work on the campaign. She was assigned to Hillary Clinton.
“Who’s Hillary?” she recalls asking. “Ah, man, I don’t want to work for the wife.” She was even surer after meeting “this lady in long blond hair with a headband.”
Sen. Clinton on a ‘Hill-a-Copter’ tour of Iowa arranged by campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle. But soon the two were on the campaign trail, with a trip to Florida. “It was barely short of disaster,” Mrs. Clinton recalls. “Neither one of us knew what we were doing.” Though they had grown up very differently — Sen. Clinton in an upper-middle-class suburb and Ms. Solis Doyle in a mainly immigrant city neighborhood — both were driven, and they found common ground in their strong fathers.
When the Clintons moved into the White House, Ms. Solis Doyle became scheduling director for the first lady. There, what her family and friends call her “Latina queena” persona emerged: playful, loud and domineering.
The politics of racial identity and gender identity are at odds in two of Hillary’s internal campaign camps. Let them destroy each other:
The campaign has two power centers: longtime advisers to former President Clinton — “the white boys,” insiders call them — and “Hillaryland,” a group of people, mostly women, who’ve been with her since she was First Lady.

That makes two references to “white boy(s)” by someone other than a white boy in the past week. Are we to assume now it’s OK to call out an individual’s race or skin color when talking to them? Are we to assume it’s now OK to refer to men and women as “boy” and “girl” now?
I’m sure the siblings loved seeing that.
Now that I believe.
“white boys”? Isn’t that racist? What would happen if there was a reference to “black boys”? Something like all hell breaking loose? What hypocrites those Dems are.
I sometimes get the feeling that it’s OK to be proud of one’s race, unless one’s race is white. I noticed that when I began watching the movie “Transformers”, there was a scene where the Latino man on the helocopter responded to a question by saying..”Hey, it’s my heritage!”
But I don’t recall any movie where a white person can answer a question that way.
And now the politicians are saying that if you don’t vote for Hillary you’re a sexist and if you don’t vote for Obama you’re a racist. White people seem like suckers sometimes.
Not likely because, as you know, Bill was the first black President.
Is this going to me the 1st lady?
Is this going to
mebe the 1st lady?“back off white boy! shut up white boy! shut up white boy!”
whew, i feel better now.
taken from the jasper file of dialog
talking to the man.
Well, I will be willing to bet that if Hillary gets the nomination and moves on to be the next President Clinton 44, we will see this woman made the Commissioner of the Customs and Border Protection….just like Clinton 42, who allowed the biggest Open Border person to be in charge of the INS. Doris Meisner. Who, I believe is back working for the very people she was working for before she was appointed….the illegal aliens through the FORD FOUNDATION.
I wonder how many US Citizens or LEGAL Residents had children who might have benefited from the scholarship that the illegal alien child received? How many in-state-tuition’s would help families from other states for their children in college?
As for “WHITE BOY”, well, it is part of the double standard we live in. Charles Barkley said “I Hate White people” after the 1993 NBA ALLSTAR game in Arizona. Look what happened to him? Endorsements, TV shows, guest spots, etc….Now, look at John Rocker and what happened to him for saying some (ugly stuff IMHO) things about those who ride the number 7 train to Shea (I think it was the 7 train, might be the 4?) Jimmy the Greek? Rush? The list goes on for double standards….Look at Hillary who made a stereotype slur against Gandhi. Howard Dean who made a huge stereotype remark/slur about blacks and the hotel staff?
Not too mention the LIBs over looking FEINSTEIN for the billions she awarded her family in military contracts and how DEMs get censure while demanding the removal or firing (even requesting jail time) of REPs who do almost the exact same type of infraction?
When MSM reporters write about people from PC ethnic backgrounds, the reporters usually turn the subject into an angelic figure. And the reporters don’t even realize how condescending they actually are. The reporters never treat the subject of the article as a real flesh and blood person. It is always the same. The subject of the article is always a person of exceptional intelligence and kindness who overcame the racism that it is systemic in America. The mom of the person featured in the article is angelic and even if she did cross the border illegally, well so what? After all, she is an angel. I could have written the article that appeared in today’s WSJ without even knowing a thing about the person profiled. It is simply plugging in the name of the person into an article that has been written 10,000 times before.
Wow, where do I begin:
Latina Queena, huh? Imagine if a Republican had referred to her as that.
Should’ve quit while you were ahead.
How inclusive. And the Dems often refer to the Republicans as a bunch of white men. Well, which is it? It’s OK for them to have a bunch of “white boys”, but when it comes to Republicans…well, nevermind.
A Muslim Chief of Staff whose father was a whahabbi Imam and now an open borders Queen. Bigots both.
#10……
They recycle, recycle, recycle. Nothing new is ever written. There is just a
homonym here and there to try to make it sound new.
This makes me wonder what they call other supporters and advisors.
Me, I just lump them all under “idiots.”
Yeah, and now Ms. Solis is an active and successful American. Just because her father cheated doesn’t mean she should be punished. That scholarship was an investment in an obviously smart person (Northwestern is a fantastic school)…and that investment has paid off.
I guess I don’t get this post. What’s the point. There’s some infighting within the Clinton campaign? Duh. Is this meant to work people up that the daughter of an illegal immigrant is working on a presidential campaign? Is that really a bad thing? Should the daughter of a criminal not become a lawyer?
The sins of our ancestors should have absolutely no bearing on the people we become.
Wonder if the Dems and MSM realize that “white boys” and “white girls” do vote. Are these two groups gradually being written off as not needed by Democrats?
I have long thought that Dems were working hard to be the party of minorities. When the whites become a minority in this country, will they be sought out for their minority status? Racist policies, IMO. But then, Dems and MSM have been racists all along while their agenda has been “whitewashed” in order to show their supposed concern for the downtrodden.
Don’t be surprised if Atlas does, in fact, shrug.
Yea,well pardon me for saying so,but this ‘beana putina’ needs to limpiar la mierda de su panocha
Stop the press! Hillary speaks the truth…
And oh, by the way, I am offended by these racist democraps using the phrase “white boy” in a derogatory way. I’m going to talk with a lawyer.
Apparently the Clintons and those who work for them have forgotten that the Clintons are themselves white. I guess the first black President and his first wife have mirrors that don’t show their true color.
Do they refer to Bill Clinton as “white boy”?
At least the family became legal after breaking in to the country.
This is what I don’t understand about the other illgal aliens if you want to be here so bad then TRY to become a ciitizen!
This just proves that the most illegal aliens are looking for a free ride!
Just more evidance of the single minded thinking of progressive thinkers. It is ok to be proud of ones heritage as long as you are not white. If you are white then you should be full of grief and sorrow for socalled oppressions committed.
I am for one sick and tired of this crap. I have always called a spade a spade (not being racial either). These damn liberals are bigger tyrannts then what the claim neocons to be.
It is time that those of us who are not bound be racial lines stand up and draw the line on this hypocracy. They (refering to the libs) can no longer have it both ways. When thier agenda of race comes into play over the good of the whole we have to call them out and demand they make clear thier racism and bigotry.
And I was left scratching my pate wondering at first glance why there was a picture of former “thirtysomething” star Mel Harris on MichelleMalkin.com.
Silly me.
You still don’t.
So am I to understand that this chick was originally illegal? And now she’s knocking on doors for Hillary?
Seems about par for the curse to me.
[The spelling is correct]
“White boys” have no race, no culture, no soul, no identity, no moral worth, no anything. They are responsible for all the evil in the world and are the only group that can be held accountable for, well, anything: asteroid hits, tsunamis, earthquakes anywhere, Katrina-size hurricanes (recall Mark Steyn’s phrase: “Karl Rove’s Incredible Racist Hurricane Machine”), financial depressions, obesity, and global warming. Did I leave anything out?
So don’t mess with white boys.
Note: none of this applies to white boy liberals in power.
So get used to it. The phrase and its implications are actually kind of liberating.
Wha? Who said anything about that? I assure you I am quite white and quite proud of my various heritages. No one is saying not to be.
Which is not to say that I’m also ignoring the various bad things my heritages have been involved in. It can go both ways.
And TMoney, Ms. Solis was born in the country.
I heard today on the radio that if you attend the U of Delaware and live in the dorms and you are “white” you must sign an agreement that all white people are racist! I will not suggest that any of my students consider that (now) racist institution. This is now state sponsored racism. Worse than 1950s. No state university called all “blacks” racist then.
This White Boy really doesn’t appreciate being lumped together with a bunch of low-life Clinton advisors.
JLP
i find the latina queena muy caliente.
Uh - that is not a latina looking woman.
She looks like my first ex-wife - a transfer student at UCSD from Serbia - they could have been twins.
Must be nice to be a fanatic about your race and then walk out and public and been seen as a “White” person. How convenient….
She is a phoney just like Hillarity…
Does this mean she was for the white-boys before she was against them.
This is a must read for Iowa caucus voters. This is the picture they need in front of them, and when she plays the experience card there is something they need reminded of:
http://chickaboomer.blogspot.com/2007/12/elles-belle.html
We’ve been WHITE BOYED Bros!
I guess Rusty is feeling his White guilt.
Nice work.If we keep this crap up we’ll scare the last two conservative Latinos into the Democratic Party.
Good grief. We really are intent on becoming a purist sect.
The worse kind of political correctness is infecting our party. We’re cannibalizing one another on the road to irrelevance.

I think I know the incident of which you wrote. It’s not as simple as that, however it was part of an enforced multicultural exercise that one student of good conscience objected to. A thorough search of Dennis Prager’s site and/or archived shows from the last year will probably yield more specifics.
So, if she beat out an American citizen for that scholarship, that is OK? Sure, her Father broke the law when he entered. If she was a Mexican citizen, not admitted into the USA, she too was an illegal alien. Her fault? No. Yet, was it the US Citizen’s fault? You know, the one who lost that same chance at an education because of who he or she was?
Where was she born?
Nobody has suggested that. I think the point is that illegal aliens and their children should not TAKE away benefits away from American citizens.
Really? Tell that to people who are always bringing up slavery…..
OK, it appears she was and is a USC. My bad. I saw that her formerly illegal alien father brought four children into the USA, however, she was number six….So, please disregard…
Being a white male living in the central Appalachians of eastern KY, I know the value of college scholarships - they can mean the difference between an education and the opportunity of achieving a better life, or a lifetime of poverty and semi-government dependency. And while I would never deny anyone a chance to better him or herself through a college education, I do feel college scholarships - especially those funded by the government are a privilege that should be available only to natural citizens.
In my part of the country there are too many intelligent students who deserve these scholarships - many of whom would never be able to afford/attend college without them! Many of these students are the descendants of families that have been in this nation since its founding and just happen to live in a region of the country that has seen significantly less economic development than the rest of the nation, thereby making a college degree a luxury their families simply cannot afford to bestow upon far too many of them.
With the ever increasing costs of a college education, we can no longer hand scholarships out to non-citizen who applies, regardless of empathy for their plight and desire to help, we must remain mindful of the needs of own citizens who themselves are in a place of great financial need.
To be fair to Mrs. Solis, I read in a related article that she is a natural born citizen of Illinois and is very gifted and deserving of her scholarship. But when considering the efficacy of giving out scholarships to illegal aliens, I think it is important that we keep in mind the many gifted students across this great nation who are in as dire a financial need of those scholarships as any illegal alien!
I mean, she was born in America and was smart enough to earn a great scholarship. What more do you want?
Is ethnicity more important than merit?
And even if she were dragged over here when she was three, making her illegal, I don’t think that matters. Why should the country devote its resources to an inferior candidate?
I just caught a spare minute to come back and read over my last post, and aside from apologizing to you all for my blatant omissions and typos (my mind out races my hands when I type and I am heavily addicted to hitting “submit” before I proof read), I feel I need to clarify some points I was meagerly attempting to make.
First, I mentioned I live in eastern KY because back in the mid ’80s, when I was earning my BS degree in Education at a local private college, I had a liberal social studies professor from someplace in Illinois tell me I could exploit my Appalachian heritage as a means of securing several lucrative scholarships. That even though I am a white American male, my place of birth qualified me as a “special minority group,” as Appalachians exist as a sub-group living well outside the norm of American life, and I should use this to my advantage. I felt very insulted at this comment; it made me feel this professor doubted my abilities just because of where I was born! My point with this story is that I do have empathy and understanding for anyone who has been made to feel outside the mainstream of American life, because of some perceived societal difference, and that I was not denying Mrs. Solis her due - she definitely earned her achievements. I meant to imply that if we allow it, there are those in society who will continuously divide and sub-divide us and our nation into another loose confederation of states - divided on everything and united on nothing!
Second, while it makes perfect business sense to have as many college educated workers living in this nation as possible - regardless of their immigrant status or nationality - we simply can no longer afford to give scholarships away to every illegal who applies for one - especially if it means denying them to our own students, many of whom rely on these scholarships as their chance to attend college!
As I meant to say, I’m glad for Mrs. Solis’ achievements, and were it within my power I would grant everyone living and or working in this country the chance to attend and pay for college, but we need to care for and educate our own students first.
But, but, I thought she was sooooooo “experienced” from her years in the White House!! Isn’t that what her campaign keeps telling us?
And she wonders why another neophyte like Obama is nipping at her cankles!
Assuming the four illegal siblings were born first she would be a legal American due to the anchor-baby loophole.
