Striking first and crying foul isn’t very conservative. Neither is letting loose another rant and then running away on the pretense of supeior thinking.

The thing that really drove me from the Democratic party and turned me to more of leaning right was the hate that the party seems to embrace now from the fringe groups.

As I said before, take your anger issues out on the fanatics in Vermont, not me. They are the ones who have created this situation. And as I also stated, unless the conservatives in Vermont speak out, people will avoid the state. This started way back when O’Reilly was discussing the looney judges and trying to get Jessica’s law in Vermont. He asked why conservatives weren’t fighting back too. I am not alone in this observation. He offered his help. Sadly, the silence from conservatives in Vermont is deafening.

I don’t waste my time going back and forth with people such as yourself. I disagree with your attitude and will not respond to you in the future. Find someone else to rant on. Is that succinct enough for you?

Sorry, but I don’t buy your argument that conservatives in Vermont couldn’t fight back. If they wanted to be heard, they could be. You can make a difference here on MM.

That’s exactly what I’m trying to do here but you don’t want to hear my views – I get the impression you think like many Dems; “free speech is great as long as you agree with me”. Kind of like when libs paint conservatives as intolerant, racist extremists. You know the type. Perhaps too well.

You can change perceptions. Many people read this site. O’Reilly would be up there in a flash if conservatives organized.

There are plenty of outlets other than local rags to get opposing views from the state out. Also, if they couldn’t get their views out in the papers, take out an ad.
