I came across this last night through instapundit and was absolutely disgusted.
The chutzpah of this lawyer!! He should be sent to Saudi Arabia wearing a
shirt that say I Love Jesus, Mohammed Sucks!!!
My blood boils. And the arrogance of that attorney only reinforces what most people think of lawyers. And for the law to want the victim to drop it is astounding. Is there no justice for victims anymore? Is it all about the perpetrator? There are so many issues here to get furious about.
Oh, how I hope this lawyer gets it back in spades.
This should certainly qualify as a hate crime. Where is the ACLU? Where are the lawyers coming to this soldier’s defense? Where is the outrage in the MSM? I hope it makes it on FOX News.
I’m sure those major law firms that were representing the Gitmo detainees pro bono (or “pro bono”) will be rushing to send over top men to represent the Marine, gratis.

Christine Amanpour and Jon Klein at CNN have everybody whipped in this category. Her three part series about how Muslims are inately peaceful and Israelis and Christians was far worse than anything Olbermann even dreamed of. Jon Klein crowed about the Amanpour garbage and Klein seem to be getting a cheap thrill about angering religious Christians and Jews. For CNN, angering religious folks who are Christian or Jewish is something that they do every day. With Muslims, it is something Amanpour and Klein do everything to avoid, even having the studio green every now and then.

Maybe Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi can present the “Jerk of the Year” Award to him at a special ceremony held in San Francisco.

“The enemy is…Americans.” That America’s military is fighting this war but not some Americans. He is correct.
The lawyer who damaged the Marine’s car to the tune of $2,000 is a prime example to what Sgt. Jeffers was referring.
Are we going to sit back and allow perverts to vandalize our military as America sat back during Vietnam? I say NO!

Thank you, Christian Soldier. Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, but
no one is entitled to damage another person or that person’s property
when there is a difference of opinion. This lawyer reverted to type instead
of admitting what he did and paying for the damage. In other words, being an adult instead of a liberal infant.
I wish we could have skipped the mid to late 60s when liberalism and
radicalism somehow got mixed together and we are now seeing what that
evolved into…hate. Pure and simple. Not rational thought but outright
hate for whatever you disagree with.

TX Rose-the 60’s will no longer be the bench-mark for the treatment of our troops. (My post # 17) I vowed that if I ever saw a military person being spit upon as they were in the 60’s and 70’s -I would perform a citizen’s arrest.
Perhaps our law enforcement and lawyer friends on this site could inform me how best to actuate a citizen’s arrest.

I rank the stars of “The Nancy & Harry Show” of 2007 as tied for Jerk of the Year”. The lawyer here is definately in the top ten on my list now….but…I tend to reserve the top 5 for those folks who can actually due millions of us harm by the stroke of a pen. Murtha is a close second and for third I have Mr. Grahmnesty. I mean….who can forget the “tell all the bigots to shut up!” comment? I’m still bent from hearing that one!

I agree, Christian Soldier. My brother was spat upon several times when he returned from Viet Nam. I swore that no one would ever spit on any one of our
military in my presence and several people wound up with burning ears for trying
just such a thing! One was someone from my high school class that never had
been known for his brain power ( and he injured himself to escape the draft) and
probably did our military a favor by not serving because he probably would have
gotten Americans killed.
I wasn’t talking about the late 60s in connection with military, but the comingling
of liberal thinking and radical thinking that forms the basis for liberal thinking
(in general) today. Liberalism was not quite as bad, at one time as it is today.
Katieanne, apparently he is also one of those that specializes in paternity
tests and paternity suits. May even advertise on tv. It’s pretty bad when he
comes across worse that the TX Hammer and the TX Strongarm ( don’t get

Can’t Mike use the Soldier Sailor Relief Act to push the court date back until after he returns? Seems to me if I remember right; this act was for cases like this. Just because you are shipping out shouldn’t mean that you can’t get your day in court.
It disgusts me that this little lawyer sh!t knows he can use a broke and degenerate judicial system to cover his slimy a$$. You should also realize by the actions of the court; that these liberal judges in Chicago are part of the problem. I could care less about their workload; if they just did their job properly, it would be less since they would actually send criminals to prison for the crimes they have committed.
Speaking of hate…I have just been catching up on the Rebecca Aguilar mess here in
TX. She’s the reporter that was suspended from our local Fox station for reducing
a 70 year old (white) man to tears after his second shooting of a second burglar.
Now, the race card is being played. She was only suspended because she is
hispanic and he is white. Never mind that her body language says so much more
than her words or the words of her “victim” during the interview. There are
hispanic groups demanding her reinstatement and both sides have hired lawyers.
If all else fails, yell racism.

We know who the real professional is in regards to your mental fit on Sgt McNulty’s private property; I’m sure he could have had you crying in a hurry, I’m not sure if he would have even had to raise a hand against you. I’m sure by the location you live, the profession you are in and the Judaic (your claim for the confrontation) background; you must be a liberal Socialist (short-term for Communist). Your kind is what has turned this country upside down; we in the military (I’m retired USAF) have provided you with the life style that you enjoy. If you were in the same circumstances anywhere else in the world except Europe (Socialism isn’t working there, why would you think it would work here?); you would have been killed outright or jailed and tortured (and it wouldn’t be water-boarding) for months.
I would never ask that you support any or all wars that we may engage in; I would expect you to respect military personnel for the professionalism that they exhibit on the battlefield, at this time, no army that has ever been fielded has had such an exemplary record of standards of conduct. Criminal activity happens in all aspects of daily life; the fact that Iraq has less crime then your city of Chicago speaks volumes about our troops conduct of this war. It doesn’t speak well for you; you have committed a crime for which you should pay, being a lawyer should not exempt you from criminal prosecution.
You should try to be a man; pay for the repairs of Sgt McNulty’s car and apologize for your childish behavior.
