New Year’s resolutions: What’s yours?

By Michelle Malkin  •  December 31, 2007 04:13 PM

I resolve…

…to cook more, exercise more, and keep my four-year-old from beating me at Wii tennis.

A reader at Tim Blair’s resolves to “to increase my carbon footprint to something resembling a small country.”

How about you?

***

Mike Huckabee’s resolution: Run a sanctimoniously positive campaign…after he shows reporters his negative anti-Romney ad.

A suggested resolution for the Los Angeles Times: Resolve to make Patterico’s list shorter next year.

No need to thank me. It is something I feel a need to do. And now that I know how it feels to do something like this, I will continue to do it.

Many things happened this past year in nearby DC that I could have attended to further show my support but didn’t. I feel a need to recify this in ‘08.

Madmaxine, I too have not been able to serve my fellow Americans for physical reasons. Funny thing is all I remember is the doctor telling me and my mom it was not serious but it would keep me out of Vietnam. He used that phrase specifically and it has stuck in my mind every since. And I don’t know why.

So, I resolve to make a soldier welcome in any capacity I can. I hope I can be worthy enough to serve those who serve.

I resolve to help my wife more to work with our autistic son.

For everyone here who resolve to quit smoking, well, as an asthma sufferer, I already know how it feels to be unable to walk across this room because you can’t breath. Trust me, you don’t want that!

My apologies to all. I got the name and rank wrong. Here is the story of LT. Groton’s homecoming.

It would be nice to understand the people of the country that I have recently moved to.
