Biden who?
Who are these people and what do they want from us?

Begone, I say. Begone, and take Ronpaul, Gravel and Kusinich with ya.
We have no inclination to suffer fools.
We're about doing grown-up stuff here.

The veteran lawmaker was to announce his decision to supporters at a post-caucus party in Des Moines, according to advisers speaking on the condition of anonymity.

Apparently the entire Dodd campaign was anonymous to voters.

Bid Biden Goodbye! A polemic dolt. The political machines are warming up. The party demi-gods are tapping people on the shoulder signaling them to be ready. The stars are aligning in DC. The question remains: Do the people buy it?

Aww gee. Just who will Harold Schaitburger, the President of the International Alliance of Fire Fighters tie his little red wagon of hopes and dreams to become Labor Secretary to now? Who will he sell the membership...of majority Republican voters I might add...to on the Democrat side since the anti-War, anti-Military defeatist loser he had hitched his wagon to and sold us down the river on is going to drop out now. Wh he didn't see it when the rest of us did is beyond me.

Oh well, at least I won't be getting those annoying "Fire Fighters for Dodd" E-Mails and mailers anymore.

Last time it was Kerry. *spit*

Again...MAJORITY REPUBLICAN MEMBERSHIP
always Democrat backing. Go figure.

I don't understand why candidates would drop out over losing one state, even if last. After several states, sure, but one?

I was half listening to Hillary give a speach earlier tonight when I heard: "I want to thank God, Biden, and..." Then it occurred to me she was thanking Dodd not God. For a moment there I thought I had entered an alternate reality. As for Dodd, I'm sure he believed she was talking about him no matter how he heard it.

That weeping in the background you hear is from Susan Estrich and Peggy Noonan -- both of whom should seriously consider retiring as political commentators.

As for Fred: Where is your Kingmaker now? Sorry, couldn't resist. And I like Fred, but . . .

WHAT Bush assault on civil liberties? What distinguised career? All I recall are his drunken hijinks with Teddy Kennedy, especially the memorable scene where the two made an involuntary sandwich out of a waitress on a table in a bar. I put him in much the class as the defeated RINO who was RI Senator last term. Still, kind of funny how the Dem senators with the most seniority in the race lag way behind relative newbies Obambi, Silk Pony and Her Royal Thighness.
