The Hsu drops

By Michelle Malkin  •  January 4, 2008 04:11 PM

Friend of Hillary Norman Hsu gets three years in the clink–and there’s possibly more to come. He also faces fraud charges in New York:

A judge on Friday sentenced disgraced political donor Norman Hsu to three years in state prison after rejecting the one-time Democratic rainmaker’s bid to throw out a 16-year-old fraud conviction.

    I was wondering the same thing, Chief.

    Plus, this three years is only the plea deal he skipped out on 16 years ago in California. I’m really anxious to see what the feds have in store for him on the $40 million fraud charge.

    The real interesting twist would be if someone dug deep enough would they find evidence that Hsu was doing for Hillary what was previously done by the Buddhists monks for the Democrats? If Hillary was being funded by agents of the Chinese government, as opposed to just taking slush fund money bundled under the names of innocent immigrants by a corrupt businessman, we would have a potentially nuclear story. Not saying it is true but thinking it is worth sniffing around for.

    Don’t be outraged yet. This three years is in a California state jail for a $1 million fraud he pled guilty to back around 1990, then skipped town before the sentencing.

    The $40 million fraud seems to be where he got most of the money to donate to Hilldebeast and other Dems. That case probably won’t come to trial until after November. We can all be duly outraged then.

    Well the direct donations from Hsu himself Hill said she gave to ‘charity’ but FEC records show that money went to the Federal Treasury , but then she probably considers money to the government as charity.

    The were major issues with the linked refunds going many (about 40% plus) to wrong zipcodes and such an most likely were not deliverable as addressed.

    We can’t tell till the next quarterly report if and how that was resolved and may not be able to even then.

    +++++++++++++

    You might be confusing cases, this is related to his 1 million scam 15 years ago in Ca.

    The fed charges for the ponzi schemes are still to be brought to court.

    Don’t be surprised that due to overcrowding in Ca prisions, he might only serve a year and get early release since his was a non violent crime.

    1/3 of sentence is common there now due to jails being full and judges ready to jump on their head in a heartbeat if the go over the limits.

    Only thing may change that is if they get more jails built or more likely if the Feds pop a deal of some kind.
