The Hsu drops
Friend of Hillary Norman Hsu gets three years in the clink–and there’s possibly more to come. He also faces fraud charges in New York:
A judge on Friday sentenced disgraced political donor Norman Hsu to three years in state prison after rejecting the one-time Democratic rainmaker’s bid to throw out a 16-year-old fraud conviction.

waiting for the “ABC Special Report: Hillary fund raiser gets three years!”… waiting… waiting…
I hope someone is putting this into their bag of dirt in case they have to meet the Hildabeast in a general election.
I bet the MSM will ignore this one too though and she’ll explain it in some way that will make people still vote for her.
“one-time Democratic rainmaker’s…” One time? Nah, try multiple-time.
Take a breath Chuck #1, you’re starting to turn blue and you’ve got a long time to wait. All Bill Clinton network will drag it’s feet on this one.
In light of Hill’s 3rd place finish, I’ll bet she’s revisiting her decision to give back Hsu’s cash.
Do we know for sure she ever really did give back the money? I seem to remember some controversy over that at the time.
Hillary says: “Vast right-wing conspiracy.”

I was wondering the same thing, Chief.
Plus, this three years is only the plea deal he skipped out on 16 years ago in California. I’m really anxious to see what the feds have in store for him on the $40 million fraud charge.
How many millions? Three years? Club Fed more likely than not? How many connections with the Communist Chinese and the Clintons?
American Justice at work.
The real interesting twist would be if someone dug deep enough would they find evidence that Hsu was doing for Hillary what was previously done by the Buddhists monks for the Democrats? If Hillary was being funded by agents of the Chinese government, as opposed to just taking slush fund money bundled under the names of innocent immigrants by a corrupt businessman, we would have a potentially nuclear story. Not saying it is true but thinking it is worth sniffing around for.
Cue Mookie in
5…4…3…
Great minds think alike. You owe me a Coke.
I’m just surprised that Hsu hasn’t committed “suicide” in his cell yet.

Don’t be outraged yet. This three years is in a California state jail for a $1 million fraud he pled guilty to back around 1990, then skipped town before the sentencing.
The $40 million fraud seems to be where he got most of the money to donate to Hilldebeast and other Dems. That case probably won’t come to trial until after November. We can all be duly outraged then.
Hsuscum….
AJ, you crack me up.
I wonder if he’s prepaid for his pardon.
Heh — it’s coming, rworks. He’s probably got less than three months…
Why commit suicide when you can be back on the streeet in a little over one year? Danke sehr, Ahhhnold!
Just think though, if he doesn’t commit Arkancide in a California jail, the feds could squeeze him and have him singing like a Chinese canary. He’s already demonstrated significant weakness of character.
Wouldn’t that make for good reading.
Remember “Culture of corruption”? How many thousands of times did our beloved MSM run headlines and stories about Abramoff? It was all they could talk about for almost a year. Communist China? Bag men? Ponzi schemes with proceeds diverted to a former President’s wife’s Presidential campaign? They can’t even bring themselves to say his name!
Texas #17, as some posters wondered about Hillary giving the money back, well the question is answered. SHe kept it as prepayment for the pardon.
Gee whiz, I stepped in some Hsu and it’s stuck on my Hillary.

Well the direct donations from Hsu himself Hill said she gave to ‘charity’ but FEC records show that money went to the Federal Treasury , but then she probably considers money to the government as charity.
The were major issues with the linked refunds going many (about 40% plus) to wrong zipcodes and such an most likely were not deliverable as addressed.
We can’t tell till the next quarterly report if and how that was resolved and may not be able to even then.

+++++++++++++
You might be confusing cases, this is related to his 1 million scam 15 years ago in Ca.
The fed charges for the ponzi schemes are still to be brought to court.
Don’t be surprised that due to overcrowding in Ca prisions, he might only serve a year and get early release since his was a non violent crime.
1/3 of sentence is common there now due to jails being full and judges ready to jump on their head in a heartbeat if the go over the limits.
Only thing may change that is if they get more jails built or more likely if the Feds pop a deal of some kind.
Comment #26, Remember Arnold proposing 22,000 non violent criminals being released? HHMMMMMMM Kennedy is his in-law? Doulbe HHMMMMM!
I would like to think so but you will forgive me if I doubt it?
I guess Norman’s lucky Horse Hsu wansn’t so luck?
I don’t get these people who say they’ll donate their dirty money to charity, as though that cleans up their own hands. What a bunch of garbage. Further, nobody ever asks, “What charity?” It is simple to start a charity. I bet dollars to donuts that, if the money was donated to charity, it was a charity for which Bill & Hill are the beneficiaries. Yep. I just Betcha……
Hsure he has, but Hshe has to win to pardon him.
Why is the MSM so in love with the Clintons? and all liberals for that matter? Don’t they know that if an authoriative gov’t took over that the free media would be under gov’t control? Sometimes I wonder what the lib media uses for brains.
Vicksoup
As I stated earlier the FEC reports showed the ‘charity’ she gave to was the Federal Treasury.
If I were a smart Dem (which is rare, if non-existent), I would bring this up every chance I got against Hillary.
But then again…
But gov. Doyle still keeps his dirty money, plus dirty money from two others. Why is there no fuss about that?
So responsible of MSNBC to cite his activities “raising funds for local politicians”.When are they going to mention his bundling for Hillary? Not holding my breath.
