Pon Raul has a strategic problem because at some point he will have to cut bait with these snakes or endear their cause as part of his own.

How will that play in Peoria? The upper East side?

Hi Bear1909,

Interesting point. By snakes I assume you mean the Fox News Fab 5!

Having grew up in Peoria (grade school and high school), and knowing your point which has nothing to do with Peoria any longer, but was a good Johnny Carson plug, lol...I believe Ron Paul will cut bait as you put it.

It will be as a 3rd party candidate.

I really don't expect him to win the republican nomination, but the "New" Republican Party is doomed either way with the "New" warmongering, Islamofacism platform. This was shown to be true when America voted in the Dems in 2006 and the Republicans lost the House and the Senate.

The difference with Ron Paul running as a 3rd party candidate is...., I truly believe that with 10 more months exposure, Ron Paul's message of being a stict Constitutionalist will be heard by enough people, especially the apathetic and the youth, to get out and vote for him (the same groups of people who haven't voted in the past).

We'll know soon enough so any discussion at this point is moot.

(Being from the Midwest, we never really did like NY, so I don't give a hoot about the upper Eastside!)

Peace,

Re Ron Paul, this is the first campaign in my lifetime where a candidate would gain the support of Nazis, or proclaim the philosophy of Nazis, IN THE GOP - and not be asked by the GOP to leave the party.
Usually, if they inadvertantly gain support from Nazis, they would INSTANTLY distance themselves and denounce such events - Ron Paul has their support and doesn’t return the money or denounce them, just makes them happier all the time.

And if any of you care, the older dictionaries give full definitions, showing that Nazis are just as much Socialists as Communists, or Liberals.
Socialism is the philosophy, the other three are political organs for it. only slight variations.

Ombre Rose,

Isn't it better that Ron Paul take their money and put it to good use rather than they putting it to use for their causes?

Are you aware that the Constitution of the United States gives ANYONE the right to contribute to ANYONE? Would you like to change the Constitution to make it that only those with the name of "Ombre Rose" can contribute? That's how you come off with your holier than thou attitude of judge and jury.

Hmmmm. Missed the Pubbie "debate". And what I saw of the Dhimmi's and the newfound "leader" Hussein Osmarma, was largely uninspiring- I mean the Governor of New Mexico is the "candidate" with the most executive level public service experience out of all of the "front runners".

Hillary is sounding like the jilted prom date sitting in the corner as the dance goes on without her--- acting as if it is no big deal that her date is passed out drunk in the car. And all those crowd panning shots showing the loathesome Chelsea "smiling" at her mother's "witty" comebacks.

PUHLEEEEEEEEEZ! Can we just disqualify her completely because she failed to beat even Silky Pony in Iowa? Doesn't she have any pride at all? What did she think would happen by asking Madeline HalfBright to campaign for her?

The nagging question is: when will the RNC figure out a way to knock Pon Raul out of the race?

oy!

I think the Rominator is leaking oil. He doesnt seem to be weathering the Iowa punch very well. McCain doesn't want to be President. He wants to get props and notariety from the public as a Great American to counter all the pigs and sleaze he has had to lay down with to survive in Washington. McCain's leadership mind has been baked.

Duncan Hunter has the youth and vitality and verve to lead this country. Fred might hang around long enough to land some knock out blows on Giuliani and Mitt.

But who knows? If the media and Oprah continue to create the Manchurian Candidate in Obama, it could all be moot.

Bottom line: we are in for a bloody decade with bungling leadership in the White House at best.

There is a mantra going on about "healing the nation". Not a chance. The President no longer leads the nation.

Who does the media think they are fooling?

McCain is still for amnesty. Just as he's climbed back into contention, he reiterates his amnesty plan. What an idiot. Guillani ducked the amnesty question. If both of them don't plumment in the polls, I'll be shocked.

At this point this needs to be a Romney/Thompson race. The others (not Hunter) are scaring the hell out of me.

Gibson waves the total deportation red herring: Is it practical to deport them all.

Tomorrow? No. However, we deported a million of them in 2006, so it is doable. At that rate, we could have it done in a decade. Couple that effort with policy changes that stop rewarding illegals and a border wall/fence, and we will all but solve the problem. We will never stop it completely, but if we reduce the problem by 75-90%, that qualifies as a success.

Oh, FYI, Ron Paul is a nutjob. Had to get that in.

7:20pm Eastern. Ron Paul blames America: “They don’t attack us because we’re free and prosperous. It’s because we invade their countries.”

The primary reason I cannot respect this man or the moonbats that campaign on his behalf.

I've forgotten, which country had we invaded prior to 9/11? /s
