This story gives us the oportunity to speak up for Hunter on our local newspaper’s forums. I’ve been directing traffic to his new website since early this morning. Trying not to be as annoying as Ron Paul supporters.I read 4 papers in the wee hours.

Duncan Hunter has my vote. IF he does drop out, I’ll consider Mitt Romney, but none of the others.

Fred isn’t any more Conservative than McCain – if he were, he’d never have been McCain’s butt buddy/2000 Presidential campaign manager and a primary mover and shaker for McCain/Feingold/Thompson – which YES – DID ORIGINALLY REALLY HAVE HIS NAME ON IT. And other Constitutional issues included.

I won’t even consider Fred, Rudi, or McCain. oh, or Mudslinging, Open Borders & Slave Reparations to ILLEGAL ALIENS Huckleberry.

But lately, I am impressed with Mitt.

And if Hunter tangles himself up with Fred, I won’t have anything else to do with Duncan, either. I feel THAT strongly about Fred.

You’ll notice that Hunter did best in probably the most conservative state to express its decision, Wyoming. That makes sense as he’s probably the most conservative person left (lifetime ACU rating of 92.)

Far away from the hype of New Hampshire, thoughtful Republicans got together in Wyoming to pick their party’s standard-bearer and if you ask me, one county got it right (three were pretty close.)

Now I’m saying my piece about the media as well.

I’ve never been able to answer questions from readers about why his campaign never caught fire given his excellent credentials and expertise (compared to, say, Mike Huckabee’s).

I could not agree more, particularly after listening to Huckster shills calling into Rush’s show stating that Huckabee was the only real conservative in the race!

The Huckster is not worthy to shine Hunter’s shoes, conservatively speaking.

Well, Reagan couldn’t make it out of primary season once upon a time too. The guy needed to build a higher profile. Most of his competitors were/are governors and senators. If all else fails, he should run for governor of CA or better yet, depose one of our gruesome twosome senators (especially Boxer).
