It’s been a while since I printed hate mail. You’ve seen one “Hey, BusHitler’s Asian whore, go home” letter, you’ve seen ‘em all. But this one’s such a prize-winner, I had to share:

For those who know me, the trouble isn’t getting me to start eating hamburgers. The trouble is getting me to stop. 
So, here’s the truly funny part. Joe Roppe of Stevens Point, WI is also the author of a letter published in the Stevens Point, WI Journal on December 31, 2007 decrying “cyberbullying” and lecturing about the need for “fostering an adult discussion” without personal attacks:
Cyberbullying is a tactic some people use to anonymously attack those they disagree with using the Internet through email or on message boards. It can include threats on a person’s life, sexual remarks, pejorative labels such as hate speech all of which are intended to harm others.
Since the Internet gives people a semblance of anonymity, they can act more aggressively than they would face-to-face. You should not reply to threatening emails or negative postings on a website. Even if you do, this is not justification for an unstable person to fly into a rage and step over the line.
Some of the posts on the Stevens Point Journal message board are patently offensive and come dangerously close to crossing the fine line between expressing their freedom of speech and committing libel. I can assure you that the posts following the publication of this letter will be designed to attack me personally instead of fostering an adult discussion of the very real issue of cyberbullying. Once you read the posts, the very nature of the nasty remarks will illustrate my point.
According to the National Cyber Alert System, you can protect yourself from cyberbullies. Be careful where you post personal information; avoid escalating a situation, document offensive remarks, and report harassing or threatening posts to the proper authorities. The Stevens Point Police Department and the FBI are good places to start.
A recent article in the SPJ demonstrates how cyberbullying can be taken to the extreme. Allegedly, a local resident is reported to have stepped over the line when a webpage on MySpace was used to request someone to shoot Mayor Andrew Halverson, and the home address of Portage County Social Worker, Danita Docka was posted including requests to kill or injure her and her child. This behavior exemplifies the need to stop cyberbullying. We can do this with laws we already have on the books.

Yeah, people will just kill eachother for the right reasons. Like:
To feed their starving children because there is not enough food due to liberal policies such as nature conservation in land use, pesticide use, and fertilizer use.
Everyone has healthcare now. Everyone has emergency care, those who have insurance have more healthcare than they need. Those without health insurance has as much healthcare as they choose to purchase out of their wallets. But lets look at a liberal version of healthcare.
Shortages of qualified doctors because doctors no longer make lots of money, but still have all the stresses as they had before. Shortages of nurses because of spending constraints. More people demanding more services because it is their right to those services, but not enough people to provide those services. A lack of drug inovations to cure or help with any future problems due to the fact that the government took control.
Every American right now that wants a roof over their head already has a roof over their head. But lets look at what happens when liberals control housing. ghettos are the norm instead of the other way around. people live in crowded high rises and traffic congestion becomes completely unbearable. Murder rates, rapes and all other crimes increase significantly. Gun free zones become killing feilds and gang leaders rule instead of governments and gangs run the streets as opposed to police.
Everyone has a voice in our government now. But when liberals rule the country, only liberals who follow the exact mantra of the top will have any voice, every other voice will be silenced and likely killed. Liberal = nazi in this respect.
100% is equal and most likely. no one will earn money. I remember visiting the Ukraine after the soviet union fell. trust me, those people were not well served by a liberal government.
They were not spared the horrors of wars for oil. They did not get good healthcare. They did not get good housing. They were not protected from crime. They did not get a voice in government, nor did they have a voice at all. And everyone payed equal taxes, in the form of your life is that of the people.

2) If “yes” to the above, was the force of extreme laughter that violentely expelled the liquid enough to knock over or damage your monitor?

I would love to see everyone pay equal taxes instead of those that pay hardly any and receive a refund several times larger than they lost through Government seizure of funds. I’m really tired (like everyone else) of paying for their windfall and the social programs they rely on too.
I know that Charles at LGF has been known to report clowns who are sending rude e-mails on company time.
Anonynimity is not assured on the Internet. We realize that some people say things in cyberspace they’d never say face to face.
Hmm, Ann Althouse out of Madison WI and NYC has had problems with a loco admirer making sexual comments at her site. Wonder how many of these creeps manage to harass multiple boards?
Pity there’s no vigilante Charlie Bronson type to hunt these morons down and at least make them soil their drawers.

The difference would be that at some point those of in the east, having maintained and strengthened our portion of the country could retake the rest of the country and return it to the democracy supported by virtue supported by intellect it was originally founded on.

The trick is how do you do it? How do get middle America to turn their backs on “free” health care, “free” housing, etc without sounding a spoilsport? Joe, go upstairs (I know your in your mom’s basement), then go to a bathroom and take off all your clothes and stand in front of a mirror. Look at yourself for a few minutes in silence. What do you see? Your not really that important are you? You don’t have any real friends do you? Nobody cares about little Joey do they? I grew up about 30 minutes from Stevens Point, and graduated from the UW school there. The college has about 12,000 grad/undergrad students, which exert a pretty significant influence on a town of 30,000 people. The campus is fairly innocuous, but it does have a strong anarchist/lib flavor to it. The main selling point of this Univ. is that it has an “excellent” natural resources graduate program, so it draws in all the sanctimonious, granola-chomping, weed smoking hippy demographic.
As the secretary of the UWSP College Republicans, I was impeached along with my fellow officers (all of which were WOMEN, or “WOMYN”) by a group of anarchists that infiltrated our group and tried to take over for the purpose of sending out derogatory press releases of Pres. Bush on College Republican letterhead. This was in the fall of 2003, ahead of the 2004 election. It wasn’t hard to know they weren’t conservatives. Most conservatives don’t walk around with ball-bearings around their necks and spikes on their wrists. Long story short, I was dating a lib girl, who was on the email list of the conspirators. She was lib, but knew right from wrong, and didn’t like what was happening, so she gave me all the inside communication for the group, showing exactly who they were and what their objective was. I had copies printed up, and at the actual “impeachment hearings” I had my boys distribute them to all the 200 people in attendance. I tell you, it was like a bomb went off in that room, when the anarchists realized what I was handing out. Needless to say, we won the night and embarrassed the hell out of them (I personally gave a STIRRING speech on academic freedom, tolerance, and the ability to hold differing opinions). Also, needless to say, we were made to look like the bad guys in the campus paper. I made more than a few enemies, but was ok with it, cuz they all sucked anyway.
BDS is rampant on that campus, faculty and students. But what do you expect? It is, after all, a university. But Point itself is not a bad town. We like our beer and Packer football, and Brewer baseball in the summers. I live in VA now, but will always have good memories of Point.
And that lib girl may have been the “one that got away.” Man, do I miss her….

Looking at the calendar, I see we have just passed the lunar phase known the new moon. So, it is safe to assume this punk, Joe Roppe, must be, in fact, a lunatic. Oh please. My last Costco shopping experiance was in Juneau Alaska a few years ago. It was discovered that they were selling farmed salmon (in Alaska!) with artificial red color. They quit seeling it there after a threatened boycott. Bet they still sell it elsewhere though. One can always do better than farmed salmon.

Someone explain this to me. Since we invaded Iraq for cheap oil, why have we seen none of it? Here in the UK, the price of petrol (or gasoline for you guys over the pond) is at record prices. From what I gather, it’s the same in the US too.
So where is all this oil that bushhitlerhaliburton and blairgoebbles stole from Iraq?

Well, I do agree with his “equal taxes”. A flat rate of 15% would certainly be nice. Nice and equal. No deductions, exemptions, hair pulling, IRS, nervous breakdowns on 4/15. It would get rid of a lot of pork, and lobbyists. “You can deduct home improvements only if you use ACME contractors (they are great campaign contributors) and you can prove you allowed 10% of the workers as illegal aliens (our future democratic voters).”
I often wonder what will happen when we progressive liberal adults take back our country.
The adults will stop wars for oil,
Everyone will have health care.
Everyone will have a roof over their heads.
Everyone will have a voice in our government.

All that from a “progressive liberal”. who, along with similar moonbats, act more like spoiled brats, and hypocrites. Mr. Roppe should examine the compassionate views of his left and the double standard they by which they judge Republicans and conservatives.

Since when do liberals support the fair or flat tax plans?

Everyone will pay equal taxes. I would love that. Think how much more we can collect from those who pay nothing now. Would be great for those who make 200k to pay the same rate as those making 15k. Would be a great incentive to make more money not less like today.

The only way this will work is to kill the socialist income tax. Don’t forget it was Karl Marx who said a graduated income tax was necessary for the proper development of communism. If you want freedom in your country, why would have a taxing structure that makes the development of communism easier? Even Karl’s momma, Henrietta, got it right. She said, “If Karl, instead of writing a lot about capital, made a lot of capital, it would have been much better.”
The best way to express this is through a quote from Winston Churchill. “The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of misery.”

I didn’t have time to scroll down the whole column of comments, but I did note that some thought that Joe Roppe was an alias. I checked on 411.com and I did find a Joseph Roppe listed for Stevens Point. I’m tempted to start making some phone calls to the fellow. He’s 55 years old, even though his comment suggests the mind of a child. Anyone who wants to call the fellow for sport can look him up as I did.
Putting a clown like Joe Roppe into google is more exciting then actually working this morning. It is such fun thinking about how Joe composed his nasty letter to Michelle. I am guessing that he composed the letter while watching Keith Olbermann. Joe is in his undies with a bag of cheetos on the side. And Joe is getting good vibes from Keith, maybe John Dean is Keith’s guest. And then Joe finishes off a bowl of Captain Crunch and now he is ready to put his fingers to the keyboard.

I don’t know, I think Joe got lost in his talking points memos. Is he recommending the Fair Tax?
Or, is he recommending that lazy azz welfare recipients actually go out and get jobs so that they can pay the same percentage of tax as everyone else? Which would also mean that “the rich” would pay the same percentage.
It’s sad that Joe’s vote counts as much as mine, for he is a retard.
Grammatical deficiencies aside, I would like to offer a bit of advice to Mr. Roppe: Philipinos are naturally thin. Perhaps that’s difficult for a Cheesehead to understand, but insulting a thin Philipino woman for being thin is akin to insulting to insulting a college linebacker for having broad shoulders.
As for Mrs. Malkin, I would gladly throw a cheeseburger on the grill for her, anytime. No, make it two. I know she likes them!
One of the search results for Roppe was a report from a television station about how he had set up a website with the rap sheet of a local candidate he opposed. I sent the reporter a description of his note to MM, and a link to this thread. I hope that it stokes the fire under the jerk to get some bad publicity himself.
