Giggle, giggle. Just one of the gals. Are older women silly enough to fall for this horse manure? Apparently so.

Not just older women, I'm afraid. It just goes to show how the power of emotion over intellect in the electorate. If Hillary and Huck and a few others have their way, we're approaching the equivalent of a high school popularity contest next November. (You know - from the Foreign Affairs article where he likened our stature in the world to being the nice kid everybody liked in HS.)

My sister, who is otherwise able to sniff out a phony from a mile away and will then emphatically proclaim her opinion from the housetops, shocked me the other day when she said she favors John Edwards. I asked her why and she said because of his upbringing in a poor family. Apparently she hasn't had much time to watch the news lately. (Or maybe she has, but has been watching the wrong outlets!) Anyway, her perception of Edwards is based on the same premise as this Clinton tactic. There are too many Americans tuned out of or fed up with the political process, and too many Americans who believe everything they see or hear on the news. Heaven help us!

First of all, does anyone buy the claim that Hillary likes "Dancing with the Stars"? Second of all, it will probably work with a lot of the dummies who watch that show, as disgusting of a thought as that is.

Now, Maria Menounos is hot, but also a moron. I wouldn't expect a very hard hitting interview... but again, that wasn't what it was a bout.. it was about Hillary getting out the moron vote. Who else watches that garbage? Morons (aka, liberals). If you're a Democrat, you're either a fundamentally dishonest person or stupid... and Hillary knows this.

But the lack of talking about real issues is my problem with Obama more than anyone. I mean, it's not shocking for a Dem to behave this way, but he is so general. He never answers specific questions or does tough interviews. He's riding the likability wave and it makes me sick. He stumbled when Kilmeade asked him if we should fight Al Qaeda in Iraq since he (Obama) wants us fighting them in Afghanistan. It was like he'd never been asked a very simple question before... and it's because largely, he hasn't. Obama is used to a bunch of idiots and college kids chasing him around because he's "likable". You've also got the contingent who feels like they're part of something (similar to bond between Truthers) by voting for "a black guy". They feel like they're part of history, it makes them cool on campus, and they feel like they're rebelling against their white parents who's white privilege gave them everything they have.

Who would you rather have a beer with, a cold female lawyer of overweening ambition or a semi-dictator who thinks the Constitution “is just a piece of paper” and who already knows what you are going to say because he is illegally monitoring you with an NSA Narus Semantic Traffic Analyzer installed at your local phone company?

The mistake liberals make is that they think other people actually care what they have to say. Who would go through the trouble of eavesdropping on their rantings?

I'd choose Dick Cheney, even though he's monitoring my brainwaves from an undisclosed location near the core of the earth.

I have such a great group of friends — friends that I have going back to literally kindergarten.

Thank goodness Hillary didn't attend a figurative kindergarten.

Just wondering how many of these kindergarten friends she told about her plans to run for President.

As the "tears-card" has a limit of one use per-candidate per-election cycle, what will Hilary use the next time she is stuck in a state primary jam?

To almeehad #12. Thailand is the best place to get over Hillary's victory. I was there just a few months ago. In Bangkok, be sure to go to polo fried chicken, to my mind the very best fried chicken in the world! And in Phuket, be sure to check out Club Rio. Nobody who looks like the wicked witch will be inside, I promise. Whenever I think of Hillary Clinton, I am immediately reminded of the scene in The Wizard of Oz where the wicked witch glares at Dorothy and says "I'll get you my little pretty". I am sure that this is what is like backstage at the debate when Hillary met Barack.

Menounos is all kindsa hot, but seeing her next to Hillary makes her look downright tragic. Are these TV appearances considered campaign contributions? How about Bill's appearances? Can't they be considered contributions in the cost of what he generally charges for a speech.

How could you not be in love with Menounos. . . but why would she want to be seen thisclose to Hillary is beyond me. It must be that whole Hollywood thing.

Hillary reminds me of a woman I worked for once....she was better then all of us other women because she was the boss and more like a man (her words) because of where she was, but when it came to wanting something from us she was just one of the girls. We saw through that act just like most women I know sees through Hillary's act. I have some pretty savvy girlfriends. Does anyone believe she has cleaned a closet in the last thirty years?

I used to have just an instinctive, visceral, gut level aversion to Hillary Rodham Clinton; but after Bush, hey, she looks pretty good. Who would you rather have a beer with, a cold female lawyer of overweening ambition or a semi-dictator who thinks the Constitution "is just a piece of paper" and who already knows what you are going to say because he is illegally monitoring you with an NSA Narus Semantic Traffic Analyzer installed at your local phone company?
