I don’t think our plan is to eliminate all the Jihadi’s. Here’s what we know abou the enemy:
1. they don’t wear uniforms
2. their preferred tactic is to attack civilians, even by suicide
3. they are reactive to circumstances, as moths are to a flame.
So how best to protect Americans? Well, Bush decided to define where the battlefield would be, namely in Iraq. And it’s worked, like moths to a flame, the terrorists and their sponsors are committed there.
Phase 2 is to concentrate their forces to eliminate so many of the enemy that they lose their will to fight. We’re getting there.

That sort of thinking is, quite frankly, stupid. First, it suggests we should never fight them. Second of all, by the same logic, for every American killed also helps forge and temper others to follow. Or do you suggest that it is only true for one side?

If you look closely at the very end of the clip, you will see exactly how precise was this bombing. Notice that the struck buildings fall between two streets, and the streets were not struck.

It looks like they are making great progress in ferreting out al-qaeda. Using the locals as “bird dogs” seems to work well. I had to chuckle at the waterfall poster on the wall. I imagine that even Iraqis get tired of loking at desert.

I live in the flight path of the downtown airport mostly corporate jet’s land there but some times the military play touch and go and those are the best day’s, I love watching them come in haul butt and making tight turn’s to line up with the runway it awesome, I see just about every kind of military aircraft their are I’ve even seen the B-1’s come over from Whiteman AFB, It’s not that far as the crow fly’s. It’s also the airport they have air show’s at and I have a front row seat in my yard I love it.
Being a retired AF veteran, I couldn’t be prouder of the fine young men and women who are today’s Air Force.

Now that I’ve thought about it, I don’t the death video. There’s already too much of the death glorification around the Net and on TV. Why do you think it’s necessary? Or should we change the earlier PR reference to Michelle War-monger Malkin?
Thank you for posting the video MM. I think it is good to show actual footage of what our military is capable of. It is not propaganda, and it is not senseless killing footage. It is morale building and it certainly is a good component of psychological warfare to flaunt your firepower.
We have been watching on the edge of our seats here. Our son is in this area and as an Infantry soldier he was sent in after the blasts to help clean the streets and rid the area of these criminals they have been hunting.
There have been a lot of casualties for the Brigades in this area since the Fall (a lot for them I mean, not in context of the larger picture). Please, everyone, keep our Stryker soldiers (really all of our soldiers) in your prayers right now as they are on the ground. All of the families I keep up with are sitting by the phone waiting to hear the words from their soldier… “I’m back at the FOB and I am safe.”
In the meantime, I hope our soldiers kick al-q’s butt off the face of this planet. Send them to their destiny and put them out of our misery.

I hope all this long that they’ve been duped by getting virgin men in heaven. Or hell, wherever these idiots end up.
I also agree that we can’t completely wipe out the enemy. However, I do believe that we can shrink their strength and fighting capacity to the point where Iraqis themselves can deal with it as more of a local nuisance than as a threat to their country.
Whether you like it or not, war is already well underway. Hiding your head in the sand is not going to make a difference.
This video is not about glorification of violence. If you can’t tell the difference between this and a … Quentin Tarantino movie, you have serious issues and need to seek professional help. On the other hand, this video is testimony to the work of our boots on the ground (and wings in the air :)) of the efficacy of their mission in Iraq. The only thing you hear in the MSM is how “evil” the coalition troops are; In fact the only time you come across anything about Iraq in the MSM (here in the UK anyway) is when troops kill innocents by mistake.
So stick your head up where the sun don’t shine, meatieboy and let the real men (and women) get on with their jobs.

The MSM has been closed-mouthed about these campaigns as well as the enormous overall success of American and Coaltion Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. As usual, bad news in the WOT is all that fits their agenda, so you won’t be hearing much from them about the war.

He has the most informative, precise, and accurate ‘unclassified’ order of battle data base I’ve ever seen. I was an Intel Analyst in counter-terrorism, and his site is definitely an asset.

Well I hate it when I haver to feel compelled to go against me own standards, but sometimes there comes along someone so classless, so assinine, that he warrants special attention.
This particular troll is obviously sitting around in his Ikea enshrined flat in the Bay Area, giggling to himself at how witty he is and how clever he is at the way he was able to “rile up” those hate mongers and racist at that chicks place. Heck, he even got in a stab at Michelle while she graciously allowed him to crawl out from his bridge and drip his ooze all over her comment site. Truly, a troll to be reconned with.
However, it was this comment that made me break my moritorium on feeding these filthy little hate-mongers, racists, and generally uninformed, parrots who only speak in sound-bites, bumpersticker slogans and what they have picked up from one of their hate sites and not from personal knowledge gained from study and experience:

They didn’t conquer the Holy Land, slaying, enslaving, beheading all women, men children, pilgrims and travelers BEFORE The Crusades…in fact that couldn’t possibly have been THE REASON for The Crusades…there wouldn’t be any Jihadis running around even if we pulled every last American out of every single country ion the entire planet, there wouldn’t be any being made even if we coved in to their will and gave them what they wanted…which is to hand over our country, lock, stock, and barrell, to the Muslims, turning it into an Islamic Theocracy, headed up by Islamic Immams, run under Shari’ah law, killing, enslaving or taxing all non-believers as they see fit that do not convert to the manner and form that they deem acceptable, burning the Constitution, and having the Islamic flag flown from the White House.
So tell us all Litlle Troll man, who had this Epiphany…who was struck by this lighting bolt that brought you this moment of clarity, that made you call Michelle such a horribly name, and spit on the very hand that allows you to post here…you ungrateful little sod…what do you suggest? Do we fight the Jihadis? Keeping them from killing us, forcing us into a life of submission, slavery and death? Or do we just allow them to take over, and accept the life of submission, servitude and death for fear of creating more of them.

It isn’t necessary to “rid the world of all the Jihadis”, it’s enough that we DEFEAT those fighting against us and discourage others who might take up arms. We didn’t kill all the Nazis, we just killed emough to break their will to fight. In Viet Nam, unfortunately, it was just the other way ’round.
The past months of the “surge” indicate the trend is with us, not the Jihadis —though we still can’t claim victory.
And of course meatpie’s argument conveniently ignores that the Jihadis are increasingly non-Iraqis. As fewer Iraqis oppose us, the less AQ can gain support and sanctuary.

Making Iraqis stop hating America by blowing them up will not work.
It is not the Iraqis we are fighting. In case you haven’t been reading the papers…(Oh, that’s right, you only get your news from Huffpo and kos) we have been fighting FOREIGN INSURGENTS that have been crossing the border, including but not limited to Iranian Republican Guard fighting a proxy war across the border, including cross border raids. While there are small militia battles, the vast majority that we are fighting are from Syria, Jordan, Pakistan and other countries.
Saying we are fighting and blowing up Irawis, and trying to get them to like us by blowing them up only exposes yourself as to you vast ignorance and stpidity as to what is going on over there. You really, really do not understand who we are fighting or what is going on. No wonder it is like talking to a brinck wall every time one of s starts to talk to one of yo trolls.
