Hey, that sounds familiar

Open-borders Huckster is talking tough on immigration and entrance policies (hat tip – Allah):

“Every one of the 19 hijackers on 9/11 came her legally. Our government welcomed them in. Well, there’s a couple of things we’re going to do differently. I say we ought to put a hiatus on people who come here and give them permits if they come from countries that sponsor and harbor terrorists. Let’s say until you get your act in order and we’ll get our act in order.”

Why does that sound familiar?

Oh, yeah!

Better late than never, I guess.

Maybe another light bulb will go off and he’ll next propose repealing the Bush/Saudi royal family student visa agreements and Saudi 9/11 pilot scholarship program.

That really means open the southern border wider to any and all comers since we don’t consider them terrorists.

My take is that the US government can’t tell the difference between someone from “countries that sponsor and harbor terrorists” when they attempt to look like those from countries to our south.

That zebra hasn’t changed his strips.

The candidates have to keep coupling the call for enforcement and border security with a parallel call for welcoming legal immigrants who have the skills and drive that thrive in America. We need to keep the image that represents us to the public as one of high achieving immigrants and descendants of immigrants.

Sounds like maybe he had a staffer read your excellent tome and give him the bullet points, then he liked them and slid them into a speach hoping no one would notice where they may have come from.

    Just sayin…..

Unless they are coming here in some official capacity, NO ONE from an ISLAMIC country should be allowed into our country until they are vetted completely, show cause to be here, and are video-taped condemning anti-American fatwas from radical Islamic Imams, and/or leaders. No exceptions!

Since “we” are such a vile, corrupt country, I don’t think they need to expose themselves to our depravity…

I interpret the candidates stance on ILEGALS as follows.

We need to close and secure the boarder. Yet we will keep it open and not slow the invasion from Mexico and other Latin American countries if it might offend them.

The problem hasn’t been with state sponsors of terrorism. It has been with our “alleged” allies, the Egyptians, who receive a huge chunk of military aid annually, compliments of Jimmah Carter, and the Saudis.

And even though a large number of jihadis have come here legally, they have overstayed their visas and then dropped out of sight, because of sanctuary policies that did not allow any state or local authority to check their immigration status with a federal authority. All of this fertilizer compliments of the ACLU, cloaked under privacy issues.

Now there are legal challenges to the NSA listening into overseas phonecalls from known jihadis, also cloaked under privacy issues. Am I the only one that feels as though we’re fighting terror with one hand tied behind our backs? For the record, the NSA can listen in on any and all of my phone conversations. I’ve got nothing to hide.

    /rant off.

Your mention of “Saudi Pilot Training” put me in mind of something my son who is in Navy flight training in Pensacola told me about a year ago.
There is an event Navy wide known as dining in (or out) I always get confused… where everyone shows up in their most formal uniforms and proceeds to have a rolicking good time. “Grog” is liberally distributed and things really go crazy! Last year, two officers from KSA sat at my son’s table.
They were not amused with the antics, which is putting it mildly…

    Dining In = Stag
    Dining Out = Spouses

    Guess which is more fun?

The whole thing is a blast, very formal, cummerbunds, parade the beef, Mr. Vice recording fines for violations of the Rules of the Mess. It’s a party! Hope this tradition lasts a long time.

The Air Force conducts the ritual too and they are a hoot. The wild ones were the combat dining-in where we wore flight suits with cummerbunds, white shirts, and bow ties. The grog bowels are normally a pair of commodes and one is filled with a wicked mixture of alcoholic beverages while the other is filled with non-alcoholic punch for those who are designated drivers.

It appears the Huckster has suddenly seen the light and joined the ranks of the born again border enforcers. Everybody get out the hip waders it is starting to get awfully deep out there.

huck’s position on immigration in November was, does anyone remember? providing financial breaks to illegals. after his win in Iowa he quickly plagarized National Review’s Nine Point plan printed a year and a half or two ago. With just two slightly different nuances. Now he is copying another conservative mag. Does this guy have an original thought? No, he is the huckster.

his fruit is rotten. hopefully, this shyster will be gone in a few weeks and he can go back to the rock he crawled out from under there in Arkansas.

hopefully, now too, the McPain will be gone.
