these people cannot face their own country men. they cannot face their own media. Yet they are trying to tell the country…nay, the WORLD that they can take on terrorists, enemies, people that will kill other people, cut off their heads and dance in the blood, strap bombs on themselves, their children…even their own babies, blow up discos, buses, banks, cafe`s, day care centers, and are planning on annihilating entire countries the size shape and population of Israel…yes…even ISAREL ITSELF as well as THE UNITED STATES with chemical weapons, biological weapons and as soon as these terrorists can get their dirt encrusted, greasy, mis-shapen blood-caked hands on them, nuclear weapons.

Fox News is truly balanced. You have both liberal and conservative news analysts there. Liberals hate it because conservative question and analysis is actually allowed to be broadcast and not completely banned.
It is another example of their derangement. They have CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS, MSNBC, nearly every newspaper in every city–all shamelessly liberal– and they pout because ONE news channel actually has a couple of conservative journalists.

I’m glad he doesn’t go on Fox News. That way I don’t have to see his fake act. Let him go on CNN and MSNBC to be asked the hard questions: “So John, is it hairspray or gel?”
Yet Tony Snow was able to single handledly able to take on that putz Bill Maher and his all-star cast of idiots simply by being able to backup his views with facts.

Ladies and gentleman we really are seeing the destruction of this great country from within. For a so-called candidate for POTUS call Fox News “evil” is beyond idiotic. It’s a friggin cable TV station. Just because it’s not 90% in the tank and under control of the Democrat party can’t make it evil. This is exactly the subtle but clear underlying mindset that liberals have. They are truly deranged human beings and becoming more unhinged by the day. And even worse, they control Congress and possibly the White House which means they will control our lives.

I have to concur with several folks from previous posts – If John Edwards or any other Democrat cannot face down a Fox News debate panel, how in the heck can they ever face the dictators of the world and other who wish to do us great harm?

As many have already said well on this thread, if you are too cowardly to answer the tough questions on FOX News, you don’t deserve to be President. It’s as simple as that. Republicans debate anywhere for anyone; Democrats only debate where they will get soft questions and special treatment. No guts. Seriously, how can these cowards lead our nation in the war on terror? Oh…that’s right, the left doesn’t believe there is a war with terrorists. It’s all our fault.
You know, the left talks about how Fox News is in the bag for Republicans a lot. But, I watched Brit, Wendal and the gang on the SC debate panel put some real pointed questions to the Republican candidates. They didn’t pull punches, that I could see. There questions were as tough and pointed, if not more so, than debates hosted on other networks for the Republicans.
Now, the Democrat debates I saw on other networks, replete with talking snowmen, etc., was pretty danged soft. Just look at the one they had the other night. It looked like a lovefest or something. *blech*
John Edwards’ hypocricy is amazing. He says he is the candidate of the mill workers yet at the same time pocketing about half a million dollars from the Fortress Group for six months of parttime “work”. Two Sundays ago, the NY Times business section had an article about the Fortress Group and similar companies. The Fortress Group was one of those companies that engaged in putting together bonds based on mortgages (CBIs). Companies like the Fortress Group made their money up front, and gobs of it, but the small investors get killed when the loans go into default. So much for John Edwards as champion of the working class. And then let’s not forget that the Fortress Group or its subsidaries were foreclosing on the homes of poor people in New Orleans who got wiped out by Hurricane Katrina. And yet this very same John Edwards has the audacity to go on the debate in Las Vegas and say he has been fighting corporate interests for 54 years. If Mr. Edwards is now 54, was he fighting big business when he was in the crib? When he was in nursery school? Oh well, in two weeks Mr. Edwards will be back passing out his business card in Siler City.
Exactly!!!!! Almost word for word what I have been saying for years. I would add a couple additional points. The left also has control of most the education system. There is talk radio, dominated by the right. Naturally liberals are hell bent on silencing talk radio along with Fox News. Then they can once again have total control over the dissemination of information and the indoctrination of young minds.
They will also have to deal with the internet, the newest information source. This one will not be easy since it is a global instrument. We’ve seen the attacks on blogs for nailing liberals….Dan Rather for example…but I doubt they will be able to control the internet.

Sure, we socio-politico wonks know of it, but the rest of America really is not aware of this outrage, and this kind of display of arrogant cowardice really needs to be communicated to the general public, so they know the character of the participants wanting to be President.

People on the Fox News channel are the most decent, open, honest, intelligent folks to be found anywhere in the media. These are the qualities that make Democrats tremble with fear. It’s the reason they despise Pres. Bush so fanatically. If such traits come to be expected by the American public, no Democrat anywhere will ever be elected to anything. No Democrat other than Zell Miller has those qualities. Brit and John and Chris and Bill will not lob underhand softballs for Dems to hit out of the park. Being afraid, yes Dems are afraid, to face Fox News means being afraid to face decency and honesty. I ask again: How can anyone with a shred of integrity vote for any Democrat?
