I’m very surprised that Clinton, Inc would agree to associate their campaign with anyone from Ugly Betty, let alone the star! It’s such a sleazy and family unfriendly show.

(I don’t watch the show, but I did accidentally happen upon a SATURDAY AFTERNOON marathon of it last fall on ABCFamily; I was shocked they would air adult fare like this show on a day when kids are home watching television – Walt would not approve!)

Seems like a strong argument for repealing the nineteenth amendment. At the very least, it would seem like an IQ test ought to be required in order to be qualified to vote. If that were the case, the Democratic party would be doomed.

You are exactly right. I am pursuing my Master’s in English with a Writing Concentration. I have a BA in English. The only slight error is the year – ‘01 refers to when I graduated high school. I received my BA in Dec. 2004.

Keep your chin up. It isn’t easy being a conservative woman. Liberals hate it when we wander off the pasture and start thinking for ourselves.

englishqueen01 (if you’re still checking this thread) – that is a very good point. I wonder if pointing out that I may (God forbid) someday need those skills to support my family it would shut people up.

By the way, what are you pursuing your Masters in? I assume that englishqueen01 refers to getting a Bachelors in English in ‘01? English was my major, graduated in ‘04. (Although sometimes you wouldn’t be able to tell it from my ramblings on this site.)

I get so tired of the attitude that she is the 'first' woman to have run for president. Not true. and her vice presidential candidate was not white but a former slave. Obama is not the first Black man to run for president either. The revision of history by the media is pathetic. There are a long list of women who have run for President. Hillary is not the first. There is one difference between these ladies and Hillary. They did not ride the wave of their husband's coattails. They were self-made women.
