I initially read this as NYT had come out as endorsing McCain as their choice for president, which is not exactly the case. McCain is their choice out of the Republican nominees. Clinton is their choice from the Democratic nominees, and is of course who they are behind as far as support goes and their choice for president.

    Guess I’ll have to take things here with a grain of salt in future..
