When will we as a nation return to civil debate on the substance of issues? A liberal friend of mine and I can have a strong, solid debate on issues without having to resort to these goof-ball tactics. We don’t change our positions, but it makes us stronger.
I know. I’m being overly simplistic, aren’t I?

Actually I would offer that you are being realistic … you have nailed the definitive problem with these so-called “debates” … substance? … there is none
I couldn’t care less about the stupid questions like “boxers or briefs” or “pearls or diamonds” …
I’d much rather hear questions about “fence or no fence” … “enforce immigration laws or not” … “fight terrorists or not” … “drill for our own oil or not” … “build refineries or not” …
Oh well … I guess I can still dream … the Dems haven’t managed to take that away from me yet … lord knows they are trying to control everything else in our lives …
All the Dem debates so far could have been run on a loop except for the little snippet of the Hilldebeast and Oblahma 4th grade exchange in the last one. Blah, Blah, Blah, I’m going to do this that and the other thing, Blah, Blah, Blah…(gag)
A white man who wants to be black and a black woman who wants to be (or at least look) white.
Unfortunately, the ‘White man minority’ quote could be closer to the mark than they know, if we don’t get this border problem under control soon.
On the upside….maybe I’ll qualify for the cozy blanket of Affirmative Action then.
I wonder if I can ask for reparations, since my ancestors were Irish workers from the potato famine who were taken advantage of by the evil industrialized America and forced to work in unhealthy conditions for substandard pay.
And that, I think, is exactly why the nutroots were so afraid of any debate on Fox. Because issues would have been addressed that the nutroots desperately need to ignore. They can’t handle the reality of Jihad, so they deny it exists, and attack anyone who would remind them (e.g., Sen. Joe Lieberman).

Never! Its the Dems new play book. Kerry avoided every possible issue and firmly stood for nothing, yet he almost won the Presidency – and that was before American Idol. The Dems won’t discuss anything because they don’t have to. Blame the American people for that one.

Up until the last two debates the so called moderator was asking the dems softball questions. They then asked the repubs tougher dem questions that they didn’t care to ask the dems. I can’t watch them without getting this overwhelming urge to pack a lunch pail. I was discussing the election with one of my nieces as she is voting for the first time and I was shocked, yes shocked to find that she was firmly against amnasty but she had no idea that the dem candidates were pro amnasty. As a matter of fact she knew nothing about the issues that they stand for. On the bright side shooting down an argument based on smoke and mirrors is easy money if you have a minute.
That shows me that what I suspected is absolutely true, the media has brain washed our youth through lies, disinformation, cover-ups and outright bs. You want to know who is primarily responsible for the supidification of our youth? Just watch these greasy media types or anything on TV these days (excluding old movies) for that matter and see for yourself. That’s why they are pursuing the kid vote, kids are easier to con but unfortunately many of them don’t get stuck on stupid so every election cycle they have to go through the same old garbage. Reminds me of the movie, Ship of Fools. Take some time and counsel a young adult American on the real issues and where these pied pipers err candidates stand on them, our youth are getting the shaft, no pun intended.
I keep saying it over and over but they have no ideas or plans. Not one single lib or demo has answered me on yet on oil dependence and terrorists isssues. I guess now they don’t have any plans. Ask John Kerry because he didn’t have either.
Watching the two sit there and go back and forth, I couldn’t help but think;
All that pretty and not enough smarts to know when to stop talking.

As sickening as it is to see a US Presidential candidate break bread on a mentally vapid talk-show, “Tyra Banks” really is the perfect venue for the Silky Pony.
Tyra specializes in mentoring young gurlz on how to find relevance in life by dressing up, walking sassy and looking “fierce.”
By the amount of time that Silky Edwards spends in front of vanity mirrors, I’d say that they are both qualified candidates for the Presidency of the “United States of Fabulous.”
What I want to know is if Tyra and Silky discussed hair care tips.

Really? I always get an answer. It’s usually something like this:
“We should be using renewable energy like solar and wind.” They then click their heels three times and return to Never-Never Land.
I’m putting it up to a vote,should I risk throwing up by watching it,or should I skip what has to be an hilarious video?
John Edwards reminds me of Elaine in the Seinfeld episode when she is in the coffee shop and a tired African American waitress expresses how tired and exhausted she is from her long day as a waitress and Elaine says:”I hear ya sistah” and the African American waitress stands rigidly and looks at Elaine with contempt. Edwards is like a male version of Elaine Benes.

Thats true JSR but they even hate Wind Power, just go ask Ted Kennedy. Teddy went on the rampage about windmills in his area and how people were getting tax write offs for it. He forgot that folks got tax breaks when they used alternative power. Stupid Ted can’t even remember past legislation.
