I think the aye-aye is a better fit for the image the Democrat party projects.

The Aye-aye (Daubentonia madagascariensis) is a strepsirrhine native to Madagascar that combines rodent-like teeth with a long, thin middle finger to fill the same ecological niche as a woodpecker. It is the world's largest nocturnal primate (except for Bill Clinton), and is characterized by its unique method of finding food; it taps on trees to find grubs, then gnaws holes in the wood and inserts its elongated middle finger to pull the grubs out (If that doesn't sound like Rock the Vote, I don't know what does).

Plus, the aye-aye bears a striking resemblance to Dennis Kucinich.

I think that the Repubs at their convention should consider changing the revered elephant to a Rhino. More fitting for this year’s candidates.

They’re going to have a live donkey at their convention. Isn’t the convention going to be loud with lots of lights? Isn’t it cruel to submit the animal to such an environment? Aren’t the democrats and particularly their supports against any form of real or imagined animal cruelty?
