“My great friend Alcee Hastings”

By Michelle Malkin  •  January 29, 2008 08:51 PM

Hillary’s giving a “victory” speech to celebrate her “win” in Florida, where no delegates will be awarded. Standing by her side: Corruptocrat Rep. Alcee Hastings.

She thanks her “great friend Alcee Hastings.”

Yeah, the same disgraced and disgraceful Alcee Hastings impeached by the House and convicted on bribery and perjury charges by the Senate.

Broom and vacuum, anyone?

The same Alcee Hastings she’d appoint to the Supreme Court, if elected.

Anyone still think McCain’s as bad as Clinton?

This is off the subject but did Hillary come up with anyway to confront the Islamofascists, or does she still plan on surrendering to them? At her victory speech tonight I was hoping she would stop thinking of surrendering and going for a victory over them. I guess not.

She has NO SHAME. Because the MSM lets her get away with everything.

I wonder if she would even be charged if she committed a murder.

    I doubt it.

I am investing in ladders. With the hole being dug by this country I figure to be rich in selling ladders.

Big, tall, 30 plus foot ones. Maybe I should invest in manufacturing of lifting platforms? Any one else interested?

Well, I graduate from college this May. That should give me plenty of time to find a good job in Australia or some other far off country so I won’t have to live under her socialist regime.

I see the NOW group in NY is really upset with Kennedy for supporting Obama, instead of “a woman”. What an irrevelant group! The way Hillary is going, with Bill and corruption, maybe Kennedy knows more than we do…if he can know anything through that alcoholic haze.

“My great friend …” guilty of bribery and perjury. Yes, birds of a feather do flock together.

What does it say about the Clintons when the only people of color eager to associate themselves with Hillary seem to be criminals and corruptocrats?

Michelle, There is still more to the Clinton-Hastings tawdry affair. Hastings was indicted for conspiracy to collect $150,000 for giving lenient sentences for some guys convicted of racketeering. Hastings got an acquittal while his conspirator ,one William A. Borders, Jr. was convicted of the conspiracy! Figure that! A panel of federal judges, led by the revered civil rights pioneer Frank Johnson, found that Hastings lied 15 times at trial. His impeachment was supported by John Conyers, no less. But here is where it gets interesting. On his last day of office, Clinton went out of his way to pardon William Borders, Jr. He did over the strong objections of the career prosecutors at the Justice Department. So what the Clintons’ motive? Obviously they were thinking ahead to when they might need Hastings and they wanted him loyal. Second, did something else pass hands? Perhaps brother Hugh Rodham come into the mix? I don’t know but the MSM won’t dig in and find out. Rest assured that not one MSM reporter will ever ask Hillary or Bil about the seaminess of Hillary cavorting on the stage with this corrupt former judge. Nor will anyone ask a simple question to Hillary: Did you then and or now support the pardon for Borders? Clinton cupcake Wolf Blitzer surely will never ask.
