The MoveOn presidential candidate seal of approval

By Michelle Malkin  •  January 31, 2008 02:36 PM

The Nation reports that nutroots powerhouse MoveOn.org is contemplating a presidential endorsement. Just what a Democrat presidential candidate who will need to move to the center to win the general election needs: The seal of approval of the despicable, military-smearing , speech-suppressing minions of MoveOn!

Seal of approval…or kiss of death?

MoveOn.org, the powerhouse grassroots organization that showered Democrats with more donations in the midterms than almost any other liberal PAC, is asking its members whether to host a virtual vote on Thursday to endorse Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton for President.

Spurred by John Edwards’s withdrawal from the race on Wednesday, MoveOn surveyed a sample of its members to gauge endorsement interest, according to a source with knowledge of the group’s operations. Then MoveOn set a deadline of 11 am Thursday for members to back a virtual endorsement vote. If a majority support the idea, virtual balloting will run overnight, open only to the group’s 3.2 million activists, and an endorsement could be announced by Friday.

Hey, they bought it, they own, they’re taking it back.

By all means, bring it on. Let’s see how the “chosen” Dem presidential candidate is going to squirm on this one.

The entertainment of it all would be worth it to watch.

Would make sense… George Soros could get Double the bang for his buck, since he is heavily funding both Moveon and the Mex-Amero candidate McCain.

So, if they endorse Hussein Obama, does that mean they ‘bought and own’ a black man (slave)?

And ‘bought and own’ Hillary (sex slave)?

Ewwww! I shudder at the combo use of ‘Hillary’ and ’sex’.

What next? Are the democratic candidates going to argue why they feel they are the nuttiest and therefore deserve MoveOn.org’s endorsement? That should be a hoot.

Maybe it’s just me, but that is an awfully impressive, imposing figure. Does the non-Left have anything, anywhere near to matching it? I don’t think so. No wonder these guys are running circles around us and now have the entire democrat party as a wholly owned subsidiary. That’s impressive. Why can’t we do something like that? Does the question answer itself? I really doubt the presence of suger-daddy Soros explains the whole of it. Is there an opportunity here that is not being taken? Seriously, we have to match this somehow or they are guaranteed to win, and not just in 2008. We do it every now and then, such as stopping the Shamnesty thing. Why can’t we do it continuously?

Speaking for myself, I work for a living. Maybe if I were going to school on someone elses dime, or was ‘busy’ collecting funds from one of America’s social programs I could join such a group.

What? They LOVE the military. They raised all that money for phone cards. Remember? We were all supposed to drop to our knees and worship them, and use that as the…oh now what was it that was said to me when I was being ridiculed for not falling for their crap like other easilly fooled “Conservatives” on here…an Olive Branch?

What ever happened with that anyway? Seems to me there are some apologies in order over that…and maybe a “Thanks for not rubbing our noses in ‘I told you so’s’.”

How’s that olive branch workin out for you guys? They suuuuure were sincere in their support of the troops and wanting to make nice, huh?

Are you really so desperate to make nice with traitors? You should know better than to ever trust a Liberal about ANYTHING.

    beenthere,

I brought that up in above comment, who are all these folks do they all LIVE IN AMERICA? Moveon is a Internet movement, some members could be squatting in say a cave in NW Pakistan. Also why do you assume they are telling the truth about their numbers? I can post something right here does it make it a true or a fact?

How many people are being counted that don’t participate anymore, remember why the movement started just because people would have signed up then doesn’t mean they continued their participation..but I could see this org trying to make themselves look larger by adding in anyone who ever went to their website.
