Report: Al Qaeda uses mentally disabled women as suicide bombers
How desperate and evil are the al Qaeda jihadists in Iraq? This desperate (via Daily Mail):
Two women thought to suffer from Down’s syndrome may have been unwilling suicide bombers in twin blasts that killed up to 73 people at pet markets in Baghdad today.
The first bomber instantly killed 45 people at a packed pet market in Baghdad in the deadliest attack in the Iraqi capital in six months.A separate attack shortly after killed 20 people and wounded scores at a bird market in southern Baghdad…
…The chief Iraqi military spokesman in Baghdad, Brigadier General Qassim al-Moussawi, claimed the female bombers apparently had Down’s syndrome and the explosives were detonated by remote control, indicating the women may not have been willing attackers, according to his office.
Bolstering that claim, local police said the woman in the first attack sold cream in the morning at the market and was known to locals as “the crazy lady”.
Police initially said the bomb at al-Ghazil market was hidden in a box of birds but determined it was a suicide attack after finding the woman’s head, an officer said, speaking on condition of anonymity because he wasn’t authorised to release the information.
Bryan Preston notes that the use of mentally disabled suicide bombers is not new.
I also bring all of this up in the hope that liberal readers might finally extract their craniums from their backsides and realize that whatever you think of Bush, he’s not the problem. He didn’t start the war and he’s not the cause of the jihad. Animals of the type who would blow up innocent mentally disabled women to kill scores of other innocent people cannot be reasoned with. There’s nothing to talk over with people like that. They live in a state of violent depravity that puts them beyond reason barring some massive change in their own minds. We infidels aren’t going to make that chance by playing nice. We have to defeat them.

Well, this should come as no surprise. And don’t expect the MSM to decry the tactics, lest they suddenly see themselves as “war mongers”. If the sight of thousands or even millions of 5-year-old children, brainwashed seemingly beyond all redemption – ruined for life – spouting murderous hate rhetoric espousing torture and beheadings, then nothing will ever get the MSM to see the horror being unleashed on the world. One of the saddest parts of this story, in my view, is that most people who hear this won’t even be shocked at it. These people are just so horrible, no new atrocity is really all that surprising.

People with Down Syndrome learn to trust others. When that trust has been earned, this person would go to the ends of the earth for you.
That, my friends is one of the sickest parts of the story. That they would “love” a person enough to gain their trust to carry out a task like this (one the women probably knew nothing about) speaks volumes of the patience and lengths al Queda will endure to accomplish their mission of death.
