Hillary turns on the spigot again Updated
Update: Cough, cough.

Click for full photo. The AP caption reads: “Democratic presidential hopeful, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., gets emmotional as she speaks about her time as a volunteer at the Yale Child Study Center, Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, in New Haven, Conn., during a round table discussion. Clinton volunteered at the center while she was a law student at Yale in the 1970’s.”
Oh, crikey. Not again. The tears of a clown are flowing once more. Why not? It worked last time with the Tyra Banks/Entertainment Tonight crowd. Via The Swamp:
Sen. Hillary Clinton teared up this morning at an event at the Yale Child Study Center, where she worked while in law school in the early 1970s.
A doctor, who was introducing Clinton, began to choke up, leading Clinton’s eyes to fill with tears, which she wiped out of her left eye. At the time, the doctor was saying how proud he was that sheepskin-coat, bell-bottom-wearing young woman he met in 1972 was now running for president.
“Well, I said I would not tear up; already we’re not exactly on the path,” Clinton said with emotion after the introduction.
Clinton is holding a roundtable discussion with Connecticut women to talk about childcare and healthcare.
Maybe she was thinking of Oprah, Caroline Kennedy, and Maria Shriver all partying for Obama in Los Angeles.
Time to bring out our Hillary campaign theme album out again.

Where there actually tears this time…… lets remember that last time she tried to cry she never actually produced any real tears.
Where are the tears for the families that have lost loved ones to illegal drunks driving on our roads and killing innocent Americans. Now she’s still wearing a sheepskin coat with the wolf of a pandering scoundrel underneath.
Margaret Thatcher didn’t “tear up” on demand.
The Iron Lady is much more my type of female leader. Not someone as artificial as Hillary. Please, please I beg the media not to pick this one up like they did the last one and the stupid media invented “snub” story.
she prolly put some cayenne pepper in her eyes behind the scene’s.
“that sheepskin-coat, bell-bottom-wearing young woman he met in 1972 was now running for president.”
bell bottoms come in handy for hiding those enormous cankles….

She cares. She CARES. She cares SO MUCH! She feels her own pain, and yours, too. The Clintons — they just CARE.
Not.
What this megalomaniacal Marxist witch aspires to do is INFLICT pain. On you. Her cherished lifelong is to bring pain to all competent males, all conservatives of any stripe, and all attractive women — and for a long time.
This witch is about getting even. It’s a deranged fantasy and it must be stopped.
And sheepskin hides a wolf’s identity really well, doesn’t it?
What is she going to do when she is dealing with foreign diplomats and leaders? Start tearing up and sobbing? Great! Just great!
God, what a phony!
Hillary volunteered at the Yale Child Study Center 35 years ago.
So what?
What did that entail?
Did it accomplish anything meaningful?
What exactly did SHE do there?
Anything meaningful, positive, effective?
I think these questions should be addressed before she is exalted and worshipped for volunteering somewhere as a law student 35 years ago.
I ask again…has this woman, who wants to win the job that will have such tremendous influence on the lives of all of us, ever had a REAL job in her life?
Did she actually do any WORK at the Rose law firm?
That’s another question that should be addressed.
Hmmph, Hmmph, Bwaaaaaahahahahahahah, cacklecacklecackle
oh brother
Just exactly what we need. Someone who is incapable or unwilling of controlling their emotions being in charge of the most powerful nation in the world. Still, I hope it works! Hillary may be the best bet the republicans have in this election even if there is very little hope for real conservatives.
Those are crocodile tears!! Never smile at a crocodile!!! What’s gonna work? Teamwork!! There’s an animal in trouble. Can’t you tell I have three year-old?
Boo-freaking-hoo!!!!!!!!!!
That must have been just after she switched from Republican to Democrat and just before met Bill and joined the law firm where 50% of the owners were Communist Party members.
What a busy woman!
You beat me to it. I totally agree. Where’s our Margaret Thatcher? Of course, she’d be a Republican, not a Democrat.
1972 huh? … interesting … she didn’t graduate from Yale Law School until 1973 … and immediately went to work in Arkansas and married Bill there in 1975 …
This must have been what she considers the beginning of her “35 years” of work for the people …
Hello? Is this PETA? Isn’t sheepskin on one of your lists?
Wonder what they will have to say?
Thankfully AC, I can see right thru that shepskin.
Let’s see, great women political leaders of the past 100 years: Maggie Thatcher, Golda Mier, Benasir Bhutto, Indira Ghandi. . .Hillary Clinton. . .
Just doesn’t fit does it?
Only reason she teared up because someone whispered in her ear she’s behind in California, and Mcain (the media and Dems pick) is behind as well, they do not want to face Romney. Man-o-Man I cant stand that Woman.
She had cayenne pepper on the finger that wiped the eye. Hills tears, Bills temper
tantrums. Sounds like two really mature people doesn’t it? This is just what we need,
AGAIN, in the White House.
here is the ONLY picture of Hillary you need to look at….

Where’s Joan of Arc when you really need her? … and Hill … you are NO Joan of Arc …
Rather be Pilloried
Than to be Hillaried
The tears of a clown…Smokey Robinson
The thought of HRC makes me want to cry.
HRC….Her Royal Crybaby…boo hoo, who knew?
Granite#9-Shame on you.She VOLLUNTEEEERED,it was for the CHIIILLLDREN,and made her FEEEEEL SO POSSSITIVE.Not to mention ,it built up her SELF-IMMMMMAGE and gave her HOPE for the FUUUUTURE.Sorry,granite-just couldn’t help myself.Hope I made the sarc.clear.
#25:
No sweat!!
Hillary when dealing with foriegn goverment or terrorists.
Heh. Probably reminiscent of what kids are thinking about what they would inherit from a HRC presidency, AJ! LOL
ajmontana, I agree, the dems are scared to death of running against Romney.
How stupid does she think we are? Hillary is nothing but a self-serving, power-hungry socialist. I’m not buying the inept Mother Theresa imitation and neither should anyone else.
I wouldn’t think any thinking person would buy into it, nraendowment.
That isn’t meant to be a slam on HRC supporters. But, folks can take it for what they wish.
Oh no, not again. Is this the same lady I saw on Fox yesterday? She had the tough as nails look that makes so many doubt she is capable of tears. Just when it is starting to look like Super Tueday was looking more competitive she has another “crying moment.” All the Oprah fans are going to swoon at her compassion and save her again.

also they’re not supposed to protect against STDs as well as latex.. oh, coats?… never mind
Can you say “spigot” or is that hate speech towards faucets?
I know, silly beyond silly – so is Shilly.
Somebody stop me – please!
Barry F has it right. Just thinking of who could be in the WH in 11 months, makes me tear up and sob.
Sen. Hillary Clinton teared up this morning at an event at the Yale Child Study Center, where she worked while in law school in the early 1970s.
And she has been working non-stop to make sure abortion clinics stay open ever since.
The Clinton Crime Family must be stopped.
Don’t you know…the Democrat solution to all our disaffections, and inequalities is what? C’mon, say it with me…turn on the SPIGOT! Tears, cash, demagoguery, accusations, investigations…all come from their fountain. Nothing new, just a different fountainhead this time.
Sociopaths mimic behaviors deemed appropriate.
She feels NOTHING but control/power.
Too bad most viewers/libs/MSM don’t read about this mental illness.
Liar, manipulator, no conscience, self indulging, parasitic behavior, shall I continue?
I have to cut Hillary some slack on this one. She’s not the only one who tears up every time she thinks about becoming president.
I bawl like an infant every time *I* think the same thing…
These tears are from the same heshe that let a questioner call the POTUS a Bastard. She smiled and nodded. That just lets one know her respect for the office of Potus. Remember McIdiot catching heat when a questioner called her a B*tch? Where’s the outrage here?
The timing of this episode is suspect. Everyone remembers that this happened the day before the New Hampshire primary which she was slated to lose. Normally, I wouldn’t get into this conversation, but I need to point out that Sen Clinton wants to be President of The United States. As such she would also be Commander in Chief of the armed forces. I find it hard to allow her credibility in either of those capacities if she’s going to cry in the face of emotional moments. I don’t want a president who’s going to tear up if some foreign tin-pot calls her a name. If you think the rest of the world thinks ill of us now …
#39……I agree. Anytime I think of Clintons in the White House…AGAIN…..I
break down and go through an entire box of tissues.
I wonder if Hillary cried when she was sliming Barack Obama with the “slumlord” charge. I wonder if she cried when she sickeningly tied him to Thom Rezek’s slum tenements. This is how the Clinton big lie technique works. Mr. Rezek has slum dwellings. Rezek also knows Barack Obama. So as far the Clintons are concerned, it is fair game to throw the “Slumlord” charge at Obama. The Clintons know what they are doing. The use of the word “slumlord” when directed by the Clintons at Obama was the Clintons’ way of hurling the Uncle Tom smear at Obama. The Clintons were essentially saying: Obama calls himself African-American. Yet look at him: He works for the man.
The Clintons want it both ways: TO hurl the Uncle Tom charge at Obama and then wink to white votrs and say: “Obama is another Jesse Jackson.”
Hillary should cry her eyes out that she behaved this way.
I’m a big fan of yours, Michelle, and not a fan of Hillary by any means, but whenever you criticize her (or anyone else, for that matter) for crying, you really come off as being nasty, petty and small.
Surely there are other rhetorical weapons you can wield against Hillary Clinton.
I know I speak for many of YOUR fans when I say that we’re embarrassed and ashamed for you when you stoop to this level.
#44, you dont speak for me, Hillary is a liar and a fake. thats being kind.
yeah the Clintons certainly know from wet work…
David,
How is it inappropriate to point out how a candidate handles stress?
Michelle’s a bit shrill, I’ll grant you, but it has always been such. You know what you’re getting into when you come here.
Which doesn’t change the fact that the underlying point is valid: do we want/need a president who gets weepy over things like this?
What would she do if/when we lost another space shuttle - bawl?
What happens if, God forbid, we had another serious terrorist attack under her watch? Do we need to have the Secret Service carry Depends, in case the president loses control of her bodily functions?
What Hillary is going through now is real enough, but it’s nothing compared to the meat grinder that is the presidency.
You seen a picture of Dubya recently? That’s the most fitness-obsessed POTUS we’ve ever had, and he looks like he’s aged 20 years since 2000.
I’m using a bit of hyperbole here, but not much. If Hillary is getting teary eyed now, over this stuff, we’re in for an emotional nightmare if she gets elected.
Michelle’s fair to call that out, IMHO.
Our own President G W Bush wept in Israel during his recent visit. I didn’t perceive that as a weakness or a flaw in him. Did you? Did Michelle?
I thought it was funny when the picture of Rezko and the Clinton’s showed up. They couldn’t distance themselves from that slum lord comment fast enough. If the Hsu fits……
“Emmotional?” Boy, the AP has really dumbed itself down. They don’t even know how to spell anymore, showing how intelligent the average liberal reporter is.
Come on now. I don’t like her any more than any of you, but these tears weren’t the product of stress or self-pity. It was a proud emotional moment, triggered by her friend’s heart-felt introduction.
And for the record, everyone’s favorite flip-flopper [around here at least], Mittens, has had more than a few teary moments on the campaign trail this year. Make of that whatever you will.
#44:
“I know I speak for many of YOUR fans when I say that we’re embarrassed and ashamed for you when you stoop to this level.”
Nope.
Neither embarrassed nor ashamed for Ms. Malkin.
One of the most critical problems America faces is that the Clintons (both of them) are not called out on their phoniness.
#47:
Shrill (from on-line dictionary.com):
4. betraying some strong emotion or attitude in an exaggerated amount, as antagonism or defensiveness.
5. marked by great intensity; keen: the shrill, incandescent light of the exploding bomb.
I assume you meant #5, and NOT #4.
I don’t think Ms. Malkin exaggerates.
Again, that seem to be part of the problem with the Clintons and their buddies…whichever of the myriad scandals, comments, actions, etc. is under discussion, one of the rejoinders from their supporters to their accusers almost always seems to be, “you’re exaggerating….”
…seems…
Apologies.

Waterworks are like the southern accent, turned on and off as needed and, because liberals fall for anything, she works them both well.
No, I mean #4. She antagonizes.
For crying out loud, the caption to this thread reads “boo freaking hoo.” What would you classify that as, “great intensity?”
It’s antagonistic.
Moreover, I’m OK with that. It’s her website, and she’s not expressing any more feeling or emotion than 90% of the people here (including myself, typically).
Re: Bush crying in Israel, what was he crying about?
I believe it was the holocaust memorial.
And #48:
There are times when a Chief Executive is not only allowed, but is expected to show deep emotion.
Times of deep personal or national grief certainly qualifies. Losing a primary, or reminiscing about school days does not.
When I get the feeling that HRC is actually crying from the heart, then I won’t
criticize her. She and hubby and turn emotion off and on to the point that even they
don’t know when what they are feeling is real or simulated.

Oh, OK.
If it’s antagonize, in the sense of the one who acts (agonist) against (anti) the agent (agonist), I applaud Ms. Malkin for it, and encourage her to produce more, much more, of the same.
I, for one, am not upset that she antagonizes those whom she antagonizes.
It is a form of challenging them.
Certainly, appeasing them would not be wise.
You’re kidding, right? You REALLY believe that Hillary Clinton is actually crying one day before Super Tuesday and it is not to have the Oprah crowd feel sorry for and vote for her?
Hmm. . .the last time she cried was right before New Hampshire.
Did the android Hillary Clinton ever ONCE cry as first lady?
1. Who can ever forget Bill turning on the obviously false tears for the cameras at Ron Browns funeral? It’s craven acts like that by the Clintons that makes us doubt the authenticity of those tears.
2. Both instances of tears were shed on her own behalf. So even if real, she was crying for herself. Does she show any real depth of emotion for all the people she claims she wants to help? All I ever hear is extremely harsh rhetoric and hollow claims of compassion that will be expressed through more government programs.
When she starts sheding some tears for the sorry state of our culture, the diseaster that has occured to our public schools or taxpayers forced to fund entitlement pyramid schemes I will feel a little empathy.
Whoops, meant to paste #48’s quote, not #55’s:
I would have cried if my spouse said:
It depends what is is.
“Are you crying? Are you crying? ARE YOU CRYING? There’s no crying! THERE’S NO CRYING IN BASEBALL!”
Speak for yourself.
Tears will backfire on her this time, we dont need a stinking wimp in the oval office. Just imagine if she were the one to get the news President Bush recieved from the secret service on 9/11.
All the Arab countries will not ever take a woman seriously? They treat them like dogs and have zero respect for their own.
This time the water works will leave a strong message she is weak in the knees and can not in any way shape or form handle the most powerful office in the free world.
Never mind the tears. Hillary delivering her pitch on Tyra Banks? Obama bonding with Oprah? What’s next, a faceoff on Jerry Springer? Jer-ree, Jer-ree, Jer-ree!
I don’t know the answer to the following question so any help would be greatly appreciated: Will the tears make the robot rust?
They may make her melt.
Those arent tears john its anti-freeze. she sprung a leak.
She seems to be such an ice queen that I didn’t think she used anti freeze, AJ.
Crocodile tears from the weakminded and thin skinned cowardly fools representing those that would sell our country’s soul to the enemy of justice, righteousness and freedom.
the only thing weaker, scarier, and worse than the cry-baby thin-skinned traitors that are running for President and can’t handle the pressures of the campaign and are terrified of real questions and feel like people are picking an them are the sad, weak minded fools that actually support them, will vote for them and feel they will make good leaders and will benefit this country.
If at first faked tears succeed then cry, cry again - SAD!
