…and four years of Bill Clinton flying the world in Air Force… well, it wouldn’t be Air Force One anymore, but pretty sure he’ll use the big jet.
I personally cringe every time I think of the possibility of McCan’t running the country.
Barack Hussein Obama (is this really happening after 9/11?) and Hillary Clinton frighten me even more than John Kerry.
My favorite candidate is Mitt Romney, but if he doesn’t get the nomination, I would take McCain any day over Hillary, who wants to take away our property, and Obama, who magnetically moves the masses for “change,” with no specifics. He is a Hugo Chavez.
At least with McCain, like Lieberman, you have someone who understands the stakes in the War on Muslim Terror. Some of those who praise Lieberman hate McCain. That is MDS.
If McCain gets the nomination, we should vote for him.
If McCennedy wins one can only hope that every Dem and many of the Repubs in congress and the senate hate him enough to not let ANYTHING get done and have him booted after 4 years.
Of course since they are all slime balls I’m sure we are screwed and amnesty will be pushed thru whether mccennedy or a dem is in the White house.

As more snow is dropped on The Rockies. An even colder wind blows into the state. This wind however is not out of the north. A typical jet stream for this time of year. This cold wind comes from the four corners area and specifically the State of Arizona.
As today finds many of the passes closed down from avalance danger, and not the misfireing of the hockey team either. Conservatives here are split. Something I do not understand as McCan’t is far from a conservative. His following however claims to be so.
The cold chill that permiates my spine is not from the wintery weather (what happened to global warming Al?) I fear for this country. If McCan’t is selected as the candidate then we are screwed. As it will be like electing a liberal socialist anyways. Be it Billery, Obamma momma, or McCan’t.
As it looks, socialism is here for the next four years.
Oh yeah, I also refuse to learn spanish. I should not have to speak a foriegn tounge just to order a big mac. I already know all the spanish I want to.

Of course, that would be easy since if you look at the actual history of the earth. I wanna see one of them end the earthquakes in Cali now that it is “civilized”. Now that would be an accomplishment to brag about and equally as feasible. Stopping billions of years worth of natural phenomenon is about as likely as humans being directly responsible for the same activity occurring on Mars.
As for McCain as president? That is a very scary thought and one that should cause more nightmares than all natural disasters combined.

I talked to my Dad yeserday, I asked him if he knew who Juan Hernadez was, he said no so I explained it to him, he said ok that rips it, I’m voting for Romney and smiled, he was going to vote for him anyway, he said that if McCain get’s the nomination he was not only not going to vote for him but he was changing his party affiliation to Independent. I told him your not the only one that feels that way, there seems to be alot of people thinking about sitting out or writing in.
I have issues with McCain’s prickly personality also. But if the alternative is Hillary and Bill, then I can easily rip down the McCain lever. Let’s consider the H. Clinton cabinet. Maddy Albright, Janet Reno, Ernie Green, Sid Blumenthal, Lannie Guinier, Strobe Talbott. This is frightening. Let’s not even get into the issue of Bill Clinton roaming the White House in search of interns. He won’t be the president so he will not have selfcontrol mechanisms at work. Just think of an unleashed Bill Clinton. HIllary can’t keep the big dog on the porch. After this recitation, does anyone still think Hillary is preferable to McCain?

That remind’s me, there is a bunch of us including the owner of the store that sit an bs and drink coffee everyday in the morning where my wife works, three mexican’s walk in this morning and get drinks from the cooler chips, candy and wanted cigarettes and gasoline, none of them spoke english, they come up and are telling her what kind of cigarettes they wanted by pointing and then one of them points to the gas pumps. My wife tells them “I don’t know sign language” one of them say’s something in spanish and she says “I don’t speak spanish” they keep pointing at the cigarettes and gas pumps and my wife says “If you don’t speak english then get out! because I don’t know what the he!! you want!” and then she points to the door. one of them flips her off and they leave, all of us standing there had listened to this whole exchange and we all laughed when they left, the owner of the store turns around and acts like he’s mad at her, my wife gets this uh-oh look on her face and the owner tells her “That was the funniest thing I’ve heard in along time I think I’ll give you a raise” my wife replied “Do I get a raise everytime I do that, cause that was pretty easy” we all laughed and went back to our converstation about the dasterdly McCain. I’ll tell you my wife has been hanging around me entirley to long.

Whew! Tammy Bruce and Bob Beckel are going at it hot and heavy right now on Fox. Bruce says the Democrats want McCain to be the Republican nominee, because he is so easy to beat in November. Beckel denies it (of course) and says Romney isn’t too much of a concern for the Democrats in November. I really don’t like Beckel much. He reminds me of one of those bloated, figurative and literal, politicians. Ugh!
Unfortunately, I’ve heard McCain make an effective argument why Thad doesn’t like him. He says he fought Thad on big spending and earmarks. Thad is right up there with Byrd on big spending Does anyone have a complete list of which Republican senators have endorsed McCain?? Please post.

Absolutely. With Hillary or Obama, the conservatives will still have the voice as the opposition. With McCain, the conservatives are just out of the picture. The opposition would be democrats and McCain is not likely to appoint anybody to any position of influence who isn’t liberal (or worse) like him.
If McCain is nominated, I would vote for Hillary or Obama period (unless some 3rd party or Independent candidate became viable).
With McCain you would see an alliance with the democrats against the conservative republicans. I would say, that is worse.

“Change” seems to be the operative word for the 2008 elections … I simply would like to challenge all those that constantly throw that word around with the following thought regarding those promises for change.
Change simply for the sake of change is not an acceptable alternative.
Candidates on all sides keep using the word change, but I have yet to hear any specifics regarding what they want to change and how they plan to change it.
Changes to medical insurance … ok … what changes … what will they accomplish … how will they be paid for … why should I support these changes?
Changes to foreign policy … ok … what changes … what will they accomplish … why should I believe these changes will work … why should I support these changes?
No one in the media has the gumballs to challenge any candidates for the “specifics of change” they propose.
We don’t change the car we drive just for the sake of changing cars. We have a reason that we want to change cars and a reason for selecting the car we decide to change to. The car we change to is selected with a purpose in mind which we expect that new car to meet. We must also plan how to make that change happen, both through physical selection, acquisition and accompanying financial requirements.
Maybe if we demand that we get the same level of detail from candidates advocating “change” that we invoke to select a new car we would be able to make an even more informed decision earlier on in the primary process when there are more choices.
Yes, a thousand times yes, we all know McCain’s reach to the liberals is too far but he is not the same as socialist Hillary. Take this seriously, if you don’t. Every time I here the word change in this election season; I remember my grandma and her advise on what to change often. Sen McCain comes closest to dirty garment that grandma had in mind.

For all who believe that a Hillary or Obama presidency is better than a McCain Presidency because it will be a short 4 or 8 years in the wilderness (presumably with a Glorious Conservative Restoration to follow), consider the impact on the Supreme Court. With Roberts, Alito and Thomas, the right side is well situated for many years to come. Scalia can almost certainly outlast the next president, so that makes 4 strict constructionists. Some of the liberals (Stevens, Ginsburg, Souter, Bryer) and left-of-center Kennedy will probably not last beyond the next president. If Hillary or Obama get elected, the liberals will almost certainly pull the plug to give her the opportunity to nail down the left side of the bench well into mid-century. With a Democrat Senate, she will succeed. Start thinking Douglas, Brennan, Marshall in their youth. The time in the wilderness may be decades, not years, and a lot more painful. McCain has supported conservative justice nominees from Bork to Alito. If you want Hillary’s picks, vote for her or sit it out – either way, your children and grandchildren will suffer the consequences.
I don’t believe McCain would take on the democrats. He would just pick somebody they want. Remember he has no litmus test.
Every president says he has no litmus test – it’s a standard response.
Would McCain:
A) Be not quite as bad as a socialist?
B) Be just as bad as/no different from a socialist?
C) Be worse than a socialist?
What should we believe?
This is THE question we have to wrestle with.
IF McCain is the Republican nominee, do we:
A) Vote for him?
B) Vote for a socialist?
C) Write in someone – say, Romney?
How can we be convinced that McCain would be tougher against the Muslim crazies than would the socialists?
How can we be convinced that McCain would be better at securing the border than would the socialists?
How can we be convinced that he would not raise taxes and spend wastefully, as badly as the socialists would?
How can we be convinced that he would be a safer bet, as far as judicial nominations are concerened, than the socialists would?
How can we be convinced that he would not push for the resurrection of the “Fairness” Doctrine just as strongly as would the socialists?
How can we be convinced that a President McCain would not change party affiliation to socialist?
I can’t think of any other issues right now…but THE question, on any issue, seems to be, how can we be convinced that McCain would be a better bet than a socialist?
And, that’s what it appears come down to – a bet.
Put another way, how and why can and should we trust McCain?
I love the irony of McCain’s supporters becoming just like McCain himself. Arrogant … intolerant of dissent … vindictive … condescending …turning against their own conservative bretheren.
Rather than actually make a case for McCain, they immediately go on the attack, even against people like Mark Levin that have spelled out their differences with McCain, point by point by point. And rather than responding to those points, a significant number of McCain defenders simply engage in all of the above with one ad hominem attack after another.
Way to bring us over to your side, guys!!

So since he has a standard response, why ask him the question or assume he would not put a liberal on the court. In other words the whole premise is rendered mute, by the standard response.

I was a Fred man, but I’ll be doing the hold the nose and pull the lever thing with whoever because I do NOT want to regret in a year or so after simmering down of being the least responsible for the gov’t taking an axe to my wages to pay for mega-entitlements. I wish to H*** more angry pissed-off stay-at-home conservatives cherished their checks and community culture and gun rights as deeply as I do. I am having difficulty considering McCain as our candidate. I was for Fred Thompson and with this muddled up caucus system and delegate counting I am,like many Americans, confused over how candidates get nominated. To top it off, I am upset with Ann Coulter’s comment about even considering Hillary (I am a big Coulter fan, but I am sure many people don’t understand her style of humor). Is she being sarcastic or does she really mean she’d even remotely consider helping/voting for Shillary. I want to write in my vote, but will I be allowed to do that? In my heart, I just can’t roll over and vote for McCain but it looks like we in the vast right wing conspiracy are gonna have him shoved down our throats. To quote someone on Newbusters, “It’s time to get scrappy with the donkeys!”
