I just want to know who the heck is voting for McCharlatan.... This completely boggles the mind.

Would a Write In Campaign make any difference? I wonder...

I have a very special message for those of you in the "stay at home" crowd:

- If you want to lose any chance of a filibuster in the Senate come January, stay at home.
- If you want to lose whatever voice we have left in Congress, stay at home.
- For those of you with state or local elections, if you want to become a tax hell like Wisconsin, stay at home.

As for me, I'm not staying home. I'm also not voting for either of the 'Rats at the top of the Presidential ticket. I'm on record as writing in two people for President and Vice President, but if not voting at all in that race floats your boat, so be it. Focus on the rest of the ticket, find conservatives to run, and vote for them.

On February 5th, 2008 at 5:18 pm, Ragspierre said:
Given the OUTRAGE in W. Virgina today, the answer is clear.

This is a day I will never, never, never forget.

Huckabee and McCain may try to live this treachery down.

Some of you may let them. I never will.

I will remember.

I am so glad to hear it - that was my reaction, here in Texas, McCain and Huckleberry think they thwarted Romney alone.

MY IDEA was instantly - they thwarted THE KNOWN WILL OF THE MAJORITY OF THE W.Virginia VOTERS.

I hope there is a lot of true outrage there, today.

Because I am less than two hours from the border of Mexico and there is plenty of outrage, here as well, and we got Kay Bailey Hutchison, Senator, and Rick Perry, Gov. both supporting McSTAB-IN-THE-Back.

It seems a lot of people just choose to forget McCain-Kennedy.

Once President McCain issues a phoney declaration that "the borders are secure", he will then sign that Amnesty bill he has wanted for so long.

Then, America as you know it is over.

Not just the GOP. America will be lost.

Please go to the Discerning Texan and read about the two Iranian sisters that are
to be stoned for adultery. They were tried twice for the same sentence and found guilty without any evidence except a tape of a man (men?) in the house
when husband was not home. No tape of actual adultery. They have already lashed and now will be stoned. The heading is Oriana Fallaci Was Right.
Please consider this when you either decide to vote for a dim or to not vote at all.
If McC is the nominee, at least he won't kowtow to these people to show the world how "nice we can be," I don't want my young female relatives to have to
live under shari'a law where a bunch of misogynistic old men can decide to do this because of another man's unreasoning jealousy and suspicions.

As I said on the other thread along this same line, it doesn't make sense to cut
our own throats out of spite. So, McC gets the nomination...all the more
reason for those of us who consider ourselves to be conservatives to work that
much harder to rehab this party. We can see just how effective a third party is
at this time. All that does is split the vote (usually GOP) and put the opposite
party in power. The dims are not going to cooperate with McC anymore than
they cooperate now. We can keep our eyes and ears open and kill things we
don't agree with just as we killed shamnesty. Please think before you decide
not to vote because this truly is not over. Look at the map. Quite a few states
have not voted yet and TX is one of them. We could see a h***uva fight on the convention floor, yet. I am a bit of a Pollyanna but this doom and gloom seems just a tad premature to me.
rant off/

How about finding us some true conservatives as well?

Oops, I do not see very many (None?)

Perhaps it is time to start a TRUE Conservative party.

If McCain and/or Huckabee win, me and mine WILL NOT be voting. I'm with Dr Dobson. More evidence of McCain's "backroom dealings"! What a couple of sleaze-bags!

Is the GOP lost? An unequivocal NO!

Like all political parties, it is merely going through a temporary rough patch that requires a little self-reflection and re-assessment, nothing more.

And if it is too late to salvage a win in this election cycle, so what? No political party in human history has ever won every election, every time.

If we are to lose in `08, the last thing we need to do is recoil and like our wounds.

We should use the time-out to regather our strengths, reflect on our strategies and message delivery skills, and reformulate a plan on how to fight our way back into the hearts and minds of the voting public - our nation is worth that fight!

McCain Smacks Romney Around on Super Tuesday...

The tag team duo of John McCain and Mike Huckabee delivered a staggering blow to Mitt Romney’s hopes of being the GOP nominee for President.

Personally I'm at a point now , that the more the Republicans move center or left the more I'm not connecting with them or their new values. Why should we continuallly have to compromise our principles and values for these middle of the roaders. Im by no means a bible thumper or even Ultra right winger, but its really getting old to look at the canidates and see no difference anymore. I truelly believe voting for Mcain or huckster will get you Hilary and Obama in different clothes.I find it disturbing that the RNC obviously keeps pushing it on us and wonders why theres a rift and animosity amongst us now.
