    I think that is right. this exit polling is rediculous they have 1% in one state and 4% in another and they call a winner in the state? How’s that would’nt you want to atleast have 40 to 50 percent before you call that state, it does not make much sense to me. What I think would be funny if the MSM call these states for McCain or Hillary and in the morning the count turns the opposite way.

    Has anyone else been listening to POTUS 08, channel 130 on XM? That has to be the most fair and balanced coverage that I’ve heard so far this season. They cover candidates rallies, speeches and interviews as they actually happened (no sound bites); they interview folks from across the political spectrum (or cube/square/quadrants if you don’t care for the left/right dichotomy); and the basic reporting is limited to the facts. They leave the opinions to the guests.

    If you have satellite radio, I recommend it.

    The ballots in Maricopa County were big fill in the arrows which are counted by scanners.

    Although the polls closed at 9pm, EST, it takes a while to start counting the ballots. I think that they have to be taken from each precinct to the County Elections Department in each county.

    However, once the computers start counting, complete county returns will be coming out very quickly.

    I did a double take on something you posted on another thread about Huckabee about asking Jesus to “smite” Romney. Yep, he said it, and much more:

    In a press conference in Mobile, Alabama today, Mr. Huckabee said that he had asked Jesus to stimulate the U.S. economy with “a fresh infusion of loaves and fishes.”

    now, to stay home in November and not vote at all should McVain get the nomination is not the way to go. Theree is never a reason to let a Democrat, especially either of those two, in the Oval Office, ESPECIALLY while we are fighting for the life of our nation against the Islamic Global Domination Jihadists, and staying home in protest will be doing just that. McCain may be one of the worst choices we as a party could do, but he is still 1000x’s better than either Obama or Clinton.

    Texans….don’t forget that we start early voting for the primary Feb 19 and finish
    early voting Feb 29th with election day the following Tues, Mar 4th.
    Have ya’ll heard about early voting? You can vote at any polling place in your
    county for that period of time. Say there is a polling place close to where you work
    and you want to vote there instead of the polling place in your precinct or a
    precinct that yours has been consolidated with, you can do so.
