Americans, could not see Tom Tancredo, the patriotic statesman that he is and branded bhim a ‘one trick pony’, for his relentless attack on illegal immigration, which puts America ‘Im Mortal Danger’. Well, that leaves Americans with:
- Hillary ‘no-woman-is-illegal’ Clinton.
- Jose McCain.
- Barak ‘Hussein’ Obama.
- Mitt ‘Hire-an-illegal’ Romney.
Not that am happy but in a democracy, people get the government they deserve.

Yes, in their minds. The reason they believe it, is due to the liberal media lying to them about how well things are going. See "Freedom-nomics" by John Lott. He shows the absolute truth that during the Clinton years the media was very favorable towards Clinton vis-a-vis the economy. When Bush became president, the unemployment rate was lower and more jobs were created. Yet the studies show that the media was quite unfavorable towards Bush vis-a-vis the economy. In reality, the leading economic people say that if a Democrat is elected, the economy will take a downturn due to higher taxes which will cause lost jobs and will mean less tax revenue. Go here to understand how tax CUTS make any economy thrive! The article was originally published in 2000-01.

You're thinking of McCain Feingold. McCain-Lieberman was a (fortunately) failed attempt to hike the gas tax on us poor schmucks not lucky enough to be driven around everywhere in government-paid chauffeur-driven limos.

Thanks for the background on this story. I never knew about how Gore and Clinton pushed that policy through. But I have a question, where was congress on this? They are charged with oversight. Why no investigations?

This is why, folks, should McC get the nomination instead of Mitt, I will hold my nose and vote for him instead of voting for a dimm or not voting for the president
at all. I will not be a party to putting the Clintons back into the White House!
