Whatever.

You might consider getting yourself a bigger following than Michelle's before you decide you have something to tell HER about how to run a great forum.

They have a word for folks whose ego is bigger than their own performance, ya know.

But the republicans no longer can claim the banner of Ronald Reagan. There is less than a nickles worth of difference between them and democraps. I for one will no longer hold my nose and vote for some power hungry idiot who treats the voters as an after thought. I survived the Carter years and will do the same with Hillary, Obama or that other liberal, McCain.

AMEN! When your stomach is in the same identical knot over any of the dims as it is over Son of Cain and Huckleberry, then it ain't God or Jesus telling us we have to vote for them.

The little voice in the ear of the abused wife telling her to "SAVE HER MARRIAGE" above all else is hearing a desperate lie.

I have a wonderful sense in my stomach when I realized NOTHING could make me vote for McCain.
Absolutely nothing.

Congratulations on making your choice for POTUS, but shame on you for expressing your desire to see Michelle implement a targeted version of the Fairness Doctrine here. I am not too surprised after looking closely at the candidate which you are supporting though.

Instead of criticising Michelle perhaps you should be more critical of yourself.

Speak for yourself. This is YOUR candidate ...
McCain is a liberal.

-- He excoriated Samuel Alito as too "conservative."

-- He promoted amnesty for 20 million illegal immigrants.

-- He abridged citizens' free speech (in favor of the media) with McCain-Feingold.

-- He hysterically opposes waterboarding terrorists and wants to shut down Guantanamo.

-- He denounced the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth.

-- He opposes ANWR and supports the global warming cult, even posturing with fellow mountebank Arnold Schwarzenegger in front of solar panels.

The only site that would have been more appropriate for Schwarzenegger in endorsing McCain would have been in front of an abortion clinic.

Feel free to vote for the liberal of your choosing. I'll do the same, but it will NOT be for McAmnesty. I'll vote for the more honest, less insulting [to me] liberal, thankyouverymuch.

Frack off, McCain and GOP establishment. The time to send you a reality check is quickly approaching.

Irishrose,

I agree with you. I admire Ms Malkin, but some of her supporters have gone bonkers. Many of them oppose McCain for principled reasons, but to vote for Hillary is insane.

I wrote the "FALL INTO LINE" article that trackbacks here. I want people to see how rabid some of the opposition is.

It is her blog, she can do whatever she likes. Yet some of the commenters do seem to be hurling invective.

Ordinary Coloradan:

Many of you are so consumed with hating McCain that you have ABANDONED conservatism by quitting in order to spite McCain and the GOP establishment. There is one word for you that are giving up in a fit of pique, for you who will not stand and continue the fight while it still matters.

Who said anything about quitting the fight for conservatism?

Just because I happen to think McCain is not fit to be the President has nothing to do with my support for other conservatives like Jeff Sessions in the Senate. I will continue to fight to get conservatives elected in Congress and the Senate.

It just amazes me that some think people whom actually think principles matter are "cowards" and have abandoned conservative principles.

Ombre Rose:

Thank-you for your great posts here on this forum. I could not agree more and it refreshing to see that some have not forgotten about Juan McCain’s despicable past record. It seems some would rather forget his record and support him in the name of the so called GOP that is betraying everything it used to stand for.

No. As it stands I will NOT be voting for Juan McAmnesty.

If we hold our noses and vote for McCain, then we are abandoning our conservative prinicples. You have to be willing to stand up to your own party and tell them "ENOUGH!"

A vote for McCain is an endoremsement of his agenda, which will move the party closer to the left.

If it means 4 years of a Democrat in the White House, that is a smaller price to pay than losing my party forever.

If McCain wants my vote in November, he's going to have to make a lot of changes to his message.

When I hear Juan McCain ask his buddy Teddy & John F'ing sKerry for their help to get drilling in Anwar, or to stop partial birth abortions, I may believe his sincerity. As long as he gives in to their ideas, without getting any of OURS passed, he will hold no credibility with me. The Constitutional Party candidate looks good...anyone know who that is? Me either, but he/she still looks better than Juan McCain!

Illegal Immigration - I don't trust anyone on that issue. I'm sorry, that issue is going to be won or lost with we the people. We have to do more, far more to convince lawmakers to enforce the border, and enforce current laws.

Instead of doing something all you do is cry.

Wah Wah Wah.

You're all a bunch of half-*ss*d conservatives. Wimps. Babies.

Grow up. And stand up.

Some of you are giving up now, when there are still important things that we CAN influence if we stand and fight hard, and if there are enough of us fighting.

We have no one left to voice our concerns for us, so we MUST raise our own voices. Like we did on Immigration.

No matter WHO the nominee is, and no matter if you plan to vote or boycott him, the platform and legislators are too important to abandon to the "McCain" wing of the party.

First:

Argue and fight for CONSERVATIVE platform planks on IMMIGRATION, BORDER, TAXES, JUDGES.

And then there are the fights for CONSERVATIVE candidates at the local, and state, and congressional level.

And there is also the VP slot to force a trustworthy conservative in there, so we have someone that deserves conservative support in 2012 after the debacle this year.

Or are all you "I hate McCain" types so gutless as to walk away from that fight? You give up your principles that easily?

Have the courage of your convictions.

The time to lay the groundwork for the new conservative base of the GOP in 2012 is NOW. Just like Reagan in 1976 set things up for 1980. He didnt quit. And yet many of you are quitting.

Many of you are so consumed with hating McCain that you have ABANDONED conservatism by quitting in order to spite McCain and the GOP establishment. There is one word for you that are giving up in a fit of pique, for you who will not stand and continue the fight while it still matters:

COWARDS.

Stand and FIGHT like real conservatives!

Instead of doing something all you do is cry.

Wah Wah Wah.

You’re all a bunch of half-*ss*d conservatives. Wimps. Babies.

Grow up. And stand up.

Some of you are giving up now, when there are still important things that we CAN influence if we stand and fight hard, and if there are enough of us fighting.

We have no one left to voice our concerns for us, so we MUST raise our own voices. Like we did on Immigration.

No matter WHO the nominee is, and no matter if you plan to vote or boycott him, the platform and legislators are too important to abandon to the “McCain” wing of the party.

Or are all you “I hate McCain” types so gutless as to walk away from that fight? You give up your principles that easily?

Have the courage of your convictions.

Irish Rose is right. I have had the same initial reaction of revulsion to a McCain candidacy as MM (whom I do greatly admire) and so many other committed Conservatives. I think McCain-Feingold has been a disaster (albeit one the Supreme Court may yet dismantle, God willing).

THINK about what you just said.

McCain Feingold. "albeit one the Supreme Court may yet dismantle, God willing."

KNOWING GOD DOES NOT VIOLATE YUR WILL - YOU tolerate McCain Fiengold AND exponentially compound that by choosing to ELECT ITS AUTHOR TO THE WHITE HOUSE TO SELECT NEW JUDGES WHO ARE NOT GOING TO BE SELECTED BASED ON A BRAND of judicial philosophy likely to OVERTURN the LAWS ENACTED by the same President who APPOINTED them.
ALL with your tolerant BLESSINGS.

What, here, is God supposed to save you from??? YOUR OWN FREEDOM OF CHOICE???

God seldom does such things.

Do you MAYBE get some sense of INCONSISTENCY in your own post - there???

HINT: THIS IS CALLED - "getting exactly what you asked for."

"You may choose to believe his recent statements recanting those beliefs, or not — but know this: his opponent in November will be a liberal who has never embraced the need to control our borders,"

And McCAIN HAS??????????

"or the need to prosecute the war against Islamic fanaticism."

"...Sen. John McCain's so-called anti-torture amendment. ...wouldn't clarify U.S. policy at all. What it would do is create a de facto zero-tolerance policy for proven interrogation techniques and provide political cover for its supporters in the event of another terrorist attack. "

"Listen to John McCain explain in his own words why he is leading the fight to ban torture...

McCain: "America is the only country in the world that asserts a legal right to engage in cruel and inhuman
treatment..."

WATERBOARDING of TERRORISTS is TORTURE by HIS definition.

Yeah, McCain is willing to fight the war on Terror - BUT ON WHOSE SIDE!!!

Pray! DO TELL!

"Don’t let a desire for the perfect keep you from choosing the good."

Neither will I let it FORCE ME to choose the very devil.

Just where do YOU propose to draw the line!

"That is far too high a price to pay for ideological purity."

CPAC 1975 Ronald Reagan: "Let them go their own way."

I recommend that you go rent "The Mortal Storm" with Jimmy Stewart. Sit down with a bag of popcorn and watch it carefully.
