The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is reminding law-enforcement officials of the increased use of female suicide bombers worldwide, and warning that women terrorists might hide explosives in devices “that mimic the look of a pregnant woman.”
The unclassified DHS threat assessment, released Monday and obtained by NBC News, shows photographs of “pregnancy prosthetics,” hollowed-out devices that could hold explosive devices. The report says “female suicide bombers have used devices that make them appear pregnant to hide explosive devices.”
The DHS report states that terrorists are using female bombers more frequently, in part because these attacks generate “more widespread media exposure.” It adds: “Continued use of female suicide bombers-the most recent example being a 3 February 2008 attack at the main railway station in Colombo, Sri Lanka-indicates that terrorists judge this tactic as effective in increasing defenses and thwarting security measures.”
The report, marked “For Official Use Only,” is one of dozens of threat assessments issued jointly throughout the year by DHS and the FBI. The authors are quick to mention that there’s no immediate threat to the U.S.
No “immediate” threat. Just a relentless, ongoing one.

well, i am serioulsy spending some hard earned cash on protection that is for sure. not going to sit by and watch the invasion from the south and the federal government’s refusal to uphold what the constitution has mandated: to protect the borders from invasion.

Worse than the Cold War and the threat of global nuclear holocaust? Yep. Welcome to Global Jihad where the cowardly enemy hides in the shadows and kills us one at a time.
Not only do we have to worry about Johnny Jihad we now have to keep a wary eye out for Jane Jihad too. The shooting in the Trolley Square Mall in Salt Lake City showed us it was time to arm up. It motivated the wife and I to get our conceal carry. Now we both carry because we can’t carry a cop. Remember folks, gun control is using both hands!
We now have to wonder if the hordes of women that appear to be pregnant sneaking across our southern border are seeking to get rewarded for a loophole in the 14th Amendment or out to inflict mass casualties in a crowd. Either way they are each carrying a bomb. One a people bomb the other explosive both will lead to the continued decline of our way of life.

Unfortunately, the reality is anything but funny.
I’m not pretending to suggest to MM an additional issue to hawk, but I’d like her crew to expose the lack of condemnation by humanitarian and Woman’s groups toward these terrorist groups exploiting the helpless. I include the Humane Societies, Children’s Charities, N.O.W,, and ALL religious leaders. Their silence is deafening even when to decry such costs nothing. I’d like to see an action go beyond mere condemnation by Islamic religious leaders; I’m no theologian but there must be some equivalent of a religious dictum that automatically “ex-communicates” or condemns anyone Islamic who perpetuates exploiting mentally handicapped people and children for mass homicides. Has anyone come up with discouragements along these lines? I’d really like to know.

I was so depressed last week that I called a suicide hotline which turned out to be outsourced to a call center in Pakistan. I told the counselor that I was suicidal, and the counselor asked me if I knew how to drive a truck.
Sweet, dfern.
They have several advantages over us: the time to sit and imagine such schemes while the rest of us are about our business; a determination so strong that we cannot guess what imaginings they may come up with next and the preparedness to die for our collective murder.
How can a nation protect itself? Yes, getting democracy in the middle east is a good idea, provided they’re an ally, and we don’t have that yet. We’re huge. our boarders expansive beyond all ability to watch it all. Plus we have liberals who are fighting in courts all over the US to benefit these people just because ideologically they hate America, too.
A few common sense suggestions for that one or two who hasn’t thought of them already:
1. Racial profiling. 100% necessary. We weren’t wringing our hands over hurt feelings in WWII, it’s time to stop that suicidal silliness right now.
2.just about any kind of routine search from anyone coming from the middle east, and yes, men should be strip searched by women specifically because it is humiliating. Why is that good? Because they operate on a different value system: they believe that to die is okay and be strip-searched by a woman is the ultimate unbearable experience. Okay, that’s a good dissuasive technique. Millions of lives are at stake here. Use it.
3.Threaten gigantic military action on a scale that would shock the world. We missed our chance right after 9-11 but it could still be done if the correct degree of fed-up anger was communicated. The world held it’s breath after 9-11. Remember? We were a sleeping giant awakened to anger. The moment we started trying to make nice is when all the verbal attacks against us began. They scented weakness. They smelled blood. Okay. Let them freeze again. Let them be shocked. If they want to have an emergency meeting at the UN – in NYC – fine, but it will be under military guard with loaded weapons angled threateningly. Message? “Turn over your terrorists hiding within 72 hours or the US will begin a progressive nuclear attack against your country to ensure the long-term safety of the United States and its citizens.” Then nuke the ocean somewhere near the coast of one of these regimes to show we aren’t screwing around.(would we actually bomb the nations themselves? Wellll….) Insane? Horrifying? A nightmare scenario beyond belief?Perhaps. But what do you want to bet we’d have to build another 50 Gitmos to hold all the guys being thrown at us?
Our problem is not that we are bullies. our problem is, quite frankly, that when threatened, we don’t bully enough.
Admittedly such actions will never occur.But they should. Especially number 3. They thought we were a benign and beneficial sleeping giant awakened to a terrible anger. We should have taken the opportunity to have proved them right. Now we’re mired in a morass on the wrong road.
Sri Lanka? Don’t forget Tamils who were early adopters of suicide bombers, which the Muslim nutters quickly adopted as an effective guerrilla warfare tactic.
The original newsclip doesn’t say whether it is Muslims or Tamils who are making faux preggy-bellies as bomb carriers.
Point I’d like to make is we’d greatly enhance our security by simply being VERY choosy about which people come into the USA to visit, study, work and live.
In particular no more than we can psych-screen to see what ethnic and religious hatreds they may harbor.
I make no apologies for the Religion of Pieces however we have Tamils who hate Sinhalese, Sikhs who hate Hindus, Croats and Serbs hating each other, Greeks, Armenians and Assyrians vs. Turks.
And yes we should amend the Constitution to give Congress etc. the tools needed to deal with Islam by means of closing seditious mosques and “Islamic centers”, detaining interning and expelling Muslims irregardless of their place of birth if push comes to shove.
We also need to economically disengage from the Islamic world; domestic energy projects to replace that 20% of our oil we buy from those countries would be a big help, settle any debts to Saudi Arabia, then PULL OUT OF THOSE COUNTRIES – no more trade, no more tourism, minimal diplomatic relations.
